I agree. We could've had one or two more episodes to really give the ending justice. Overall, I am very satisfy with how the story concluded though.

But in all honesty, I am happy with the ending. What a journey it has been. I'm filled with so many emotions at the moment, I will probably have so much more to say later because I know I won't be able to stop thinking about this drama for a long time lol. What a beautiful story of love, forgiveness, and trust. I'm so proud of all the director, writers, cast, and crew for bringing this masterpiece to life. My favorite drama of all time. <3

In my heart, Wei Shao and Manman agreed that it was just a bad dream, and both went back to sleep that night without a second thought. Wei Liang decided to nurture Manman's old orchid himself and he never left Wei state. Da Qiao and BZ declined to go to Yanzhou because baby Li was being too fussy. The Qiao uncle did betray Wei Shao, and he and Liu Yan tried to take Panyi, but Wei Shao received intel from Mayor Yang in time to send troops there to intervene. Wei Shao got to kill Liu Yan, Yulou died a tragic death, and with the help of Wei Yan and all four Wei generals, they defeated anyone and everyone that was a threat to the safety of the lands. Manman gave birth to Feifei without any extra pressure, and Wei Shao made it home soon after to meet his daughter. Manman's father succeeded the throne and became the leader Yanzhou deserved. Wei Liang proposed, Xiao Tao agreed, and on the wedding night while celebrating before the bride and groom united in the bride chamber, all four generals drank and joked as they all laid down outside to admire the moon together. All of our favorite characters lived happily ever after.

Su Jin from Eternal Love and Ye Bing Chang from Till the End of the Moon are who Lady Yulou think she is, but she isn't half as smart or cunning as them. So far, all of her schemes have backfired on her in one way or another and she's been wrong about how Wei Shao would react every single time. So embarrassing. I don't know why anyone would still believe that she is fated for success and a life of an empress when everything and everyone that Lady Yulou touched has succumbed to tragic ends.

Yulou wants Yanzhou to team up with Liangya, and base on how stupid the Qiao uncle is he will probably agree, but it doesn't make any sense. Why would the Qiao uncle ally with Liangya after Liangya literally just attacked Yanzhou? And betraying Wei state right after Wei Shao and his armies went out of their ways to defend Yanzhou too. It would make sense if Liangya had won, but they lost, so how are you going to join hands with the losers? Yulou, Liu Yan, and Uncle Qiao only have one brain cell among the three of them and they just pass it back and forth, I guess.

Seeing Wei Liang delay his proposal to Xiao Tao makes my heart hurt. He loves her so much that he just wants to give her the best. Our poor babies. 😭😭😭

I love that everyone was toasting each other at the banquet, but no one was toasting the Qiao uncle lmaoo. Good, as it should be. How is he gonna be the biggest hater in the room, always refusing to send aid to everyone, and then wanna be praised and take credit for other people's victories? GTFO.

If there is one thing about Da Qiao, she is consistent when it comes to BZ, I'll give her that. Shame on her father for trying to belittle BZ and steal Boya. Her father - the Qiao clan leader and Yanzhou governor - is so unfit to rule. He don't care about his family, he don't care about his people. All he do is throw hissy fits because his ego is bruised. Selfish, jealous, self serving asshole.

Manman's father should've been heir. He loves his children and cares for all people - not just those from his state. He have the wisdom and empathy to bring peace to the lands. It was really touching to see Wei Shao pay respects to him because Wei Shao recognize that Manman is such a selfless and loving person because she shares her father's values.

And omgomgomg - Manman and Wei Shao. 😭 YESSSSS. FINALLY. It felt like we were intruding but I couldn't stop giggling and blushing the entire time lol. So happy for our couple.♥️♥️♥️

At last, Manman is getting the respect and acceptance she deserves~~~ Honestly, if the drama was to end here, I wouldn't even be mad. Everyone we care about is still alive, the main couple made up and they are deeply in love, and the story have come to a full circle. If anyone I love dies in the last remaining episodes, I'll just pretend that EP 32 was the ending. 😭
