Do you have a confirmed source? I have been waiting! This series is just great, mature, captivating, and they definitely does not cheap out on productions!
Wooo. Not a bad start. Just watched episode 3 and liking it so far. Very 'Jianghu' vibe. Heroes go on an adventure, meet other heroes, becoming friends and goes through difficulty together. Very wuxia!!
I think because they cut out alot of parts to make the numbers of episode to 40, we are missing some information in between. If that's not what it is, then the way things played out is just too comical and amateurish of the writer or the intend from the original author haha.
I think what the writer or original author did for the characters is that, they wrote the characters based on how the audience would like to perceived them, instead of writing the character as individual, if that make sense.
I still enjoyed it, but the characters and scripts, I feel like I have an itch somewhere that I cannot scratch, but I know it's there kinda feeling. 6 more episodes to go~
Lol Im midway through the series and I understand what people were talking about. This isn't some plot heavy, intricate-type of drama. This drama is silly at times, very fairy-tale like, hero saves the day and get the princess etc.
It's fun to watch, leave it in the background. Don't get invested in it and don't take it too seriously and you'll be OK. Haha.
After last week's episodes, I would thought things would be a bit different this week lol. It's the same politics but just different problem. Baili family creates problem, ML come solve them, King ignores real perpetrators. @_@.
It's like ML is playing detective. I guess a bit repetitive? I would be OK if it was a detective drama or the premise is they are from an investigation bureau, but I think it's a bit repetitive this time around. Im sure next week would be different seeing how things ended at ep22.
but i think he was too traumatized in his childhood because his father had several wives, (all war, all the plot…
Probably, but his Father was in the mist of a hierarchy power struggle. If ML leaves the royal palace and venture the world, I think he would get much less trouble. Also, he and BFX is OP, who dare gives them trouble, other than other love interests :D
TBH, the ML should just forget his empire and run away with Miss Huan, Feng Qi Wu and Bai Feng Xi. It's ancient time China, and he's a Prince, he can have more than 1 wive. :D
Main actor reminds me very much of Park Seo Joon. Tbh, this whole drama could switch to Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young, and it would still fit. That's how much I find it similar.
Because our leads are the strongest in martial world that's why no body can defeat them yet and anybody else is…
Ahh no, I understand that part. I meant other characters, such as the general, the shang ye family, the medicine family, etc. I get that some things need to happen for our heroes to move forward, but I just think it's a pity to introduced a character like that and have them die/written off, hence it reminds me of Gu Long (:
Is it because they shorten the episodes or why does it seems to be moving a bit fast. Characters introduced and died as they are, lol. Hard to feel anything for them. This reminds me so much of Gu Long's style of writing. 'Meet this super famous expert', bam, he died. Hahah.
The fight sequences and choreograph, they did not cheap out! I like it.
Just completed the series. The whole series felt like a prequel to Gong Seung Yeon "Aloner", if you know what I mean (;
Joke aside, for 16 episodes, of course we find out the reason at the very last and it wasn't anything impactful. Alot happen in 16 episodes and at the same time, nothing much. For new viewers, if you're a fan of the actors and actresses in here, go ahead and watch it. I know I did :D. For viewers who are interested but not sure, I highly recommend reading the_sapio_nerd's review, although extremely lengthy, it is far better than sitting through 16 hours of dramas.
Warning for new comers.IF YOU LOVE GOBLIN - GO AHEAD. WATCH THIS.IF YOU WATCH GOBLIN AND IN YOUR OPINION THAT'S…
Yeah the two does have some similarity. Immortal, revenge and ill-fated relationships. I guess that's where preferences comes in. Goblin was a great drama, my top 5. Whereas Bulgasal is mild average at best.
Fight choreograph isn't bad at all!

One can dream (:
Cliche, but not bad. Enjoyable at least.
