The five main cast got alot of love after the show and I wish the archer group would also get as much love, because frankly they were at least entertaining and did made great sacrifices. Lee Eun Saem especially stands out as Minji, her character here and on The Red Sleeve are totally different. I hope she get more recognition and roles in the future. Alot of potential, very underrated.

She's quite adorable in interviews too, smiling all the time lol.

Title All of Us Are Dead Spoiler
I liked the series. It did what I thought it would do, just regular kids facing a zombie apocalypse and bonding together to try and survive. First off, so so much respects for all the actors and actresses who were zombies, or even cast members. They went through rigorous training and it must of been crazy. Every time I see a zombie Im always thinking how much they must of practiced.

These are highschool kids, age 14-18, I don't expect them to make rational choices. Just as the director said, adult had social skills and experienced so they would know what to do, kids won't have that luxury and they are prone to more errors and not think clearly. Especially if there's hundred of zombies chasing you. Maybe some viewers had high expectation, comparing it to something else, or "I would of done this in XYZ situation"- being harsher on the series than they should. I don't think it's that bad that you'd skip the series, or so great that you'll watch it again. I thought it was an interesting take. That streamer who streamed the zombie kids chasing him was hilarious (I bet the kids had a blast too), that would actually happen in real life. I mean, look at covid19, how many ridiculous situation have people done? It's not so far fetch.

I like how they had a special male zombie and a female to balance out. I like how they use whatever in their surrounding to fight, block, and avoid zombies. I am glad the director uses unknown actors/actresses because this might open up more opportunities for them. They are young, I don't expect Ji Sung level of acting haha. I saw Yi Hyun in Hospital Playlist and thought she was pretty, I think she got prettier here. Unsure if her acting improved or not as she was stone cold most of the time (its understandable, she doesn't know how to make friends and all she did was study) besides the ending part. I guess it's contrast her Hospital Playlist character.

Don't think there's a purpose for season 2, but the ending kind of made me wanting a season 2. Just so I can see Yi Hyun and her fellow half-bie duking it out with whomever, maybe Cheong San is also alive. Because he got bit but lasted way longer than normal. My rule of thumb, if they find no body, the person is alive, unless they got nuked in the face like some zombies. ))):

I don't think it's fair to compare a series of 12 hours episodes to a 2 hours movie. They had some things I thought could be improved upon, but overall I think it's not that bad to binge. If the director decided for season 2, I hope he look at the critics or reviews, so the series can be improved.

but JI SUNG nailed it alone :)
Yeah that's why he's such a great actor. Just like James McAvoy in Split. Not everyone can pull it off.

I like the interesting take on split personality; where you get 2 actors acting it out and so you can actually see they're different. Often times you would only see 1 actor doing 2 parts, it's a hit or miss with that since the actor needs to be REALLY good to pull it off. The final episode was anticlimatic. The resolution was just 'that', nothing special ):

Haha. I was surprised that she's actually younger than the FL. I thought she was older, but she's only 32!

Interesting take on alien, future/past and cloning? lol. Left with so many more questions. No one traveling from the future to past or vice versa, they just decided to show us 2 different parts, which IMO, lessen the headache and the trouble of time traveling. Which is good. It was ravel in mystery which kept me watching but the whole time, I think I had focused on the wrong things.

With an alien into the picture, I assumed they would explore that aspect more. Where she came from, what's the purpose, does she have any abilities besides that cube, Im assuming she built it somehow? How did she built that? Using what material? Why doesn't she age? With an extraterrestrial at hand, instead they focused on human greed. I would love it if they explore her origins more. Maybe they are still writing for part 2, seeing how open ended the ending was, which was completely unnecessary. You can't be having an alien as the main cast, and not talk about her origin AT ALL, and then decided to throw us that 1 min bit on the final episode lol...that's so irresponsible.

How'd clone Woo Jin able walk/stand up so fast if he was on cryosleep for who knows how long. How did they dap into that alien technology and have the cube linked to the computers? Clone Woo Jin wasn't plugged in like the matrix, so how does that even work? The world is capitalist, so once Korea learned how to make the chip and built its city, where are all the foreign powers? Did they have some sort of an agreement? Does foreign power also have the chip? So many questions!

Why is Gong Seung Yeon gorgeous?? They never answered that. SMH.
On Are You Human? Jan 24, 2022
Although the story was dragging and went round and round, I found myself continue watching because the AI aspect was much more interesting and I had hoped to see how far the AI will developed it's intelligence, developing human's desires; to have a friend, to love someone, to sacrifice, to be loved, etc. The AI is basically 'perfect', besides human emotions, its calculation and decisions are flawless. It should of been 12 episodes shorter IMO and would still get the story across.

Throughout watching the drama, I didn't mind that he was an AI, because I never thought of them having kids, or making love. Who say that you need to do those things when in love? Who say that you need to have a baby after being married? Society? Can't we choose for ourselves? Can't we love someone unconditionally and they to us, without outsiders telling us what to do? It's a fantasy drama that should evoke those thoughts and emotions to us, and let us rethink, what does it mean to love someone or to care for someone? What I thought was how will an AI be able to discerns between love and 'coded love', how will an AI recognize that it has true human emotions rather than imitating what it sees? How far will it actually evolved? Those aspects interests me and I think the writer explored it really well.

It's normal for us to think about human romance, because we're humans after all and that is wired into our DNA. However, there's a much bigger message than just human biology. Just because it was built by a human, it doesn't mean that all there is- are wires and Tin Can. Even a complex AI like Nam Shin just needs that one special person to break it free from being a complete perfect AI.

Seo Kang Hoon played the AI extremely well. Gong Seung Yeon is simply gorgeous, my eyes are truly blessed.

OMG I had thought about your theory of Dan Sol's reincarnated in SW and viceversa lmao....I hope not tho...because…
Bruuuhhh. I started on Are You Human Too? Her short hair in there is just *chef kiss*, although I don't particularly like the pink color they used on her lips though, other colors fine. My eyes are just blessed every time she's on screen. I'll have to add her as an actress to look out for :D. I'll binge it this weekend.

I'll pass on Only Love Song, Lee Jong Hyun is in it; after I learned of what he did, hard pass. I felt bad for her too, since they were on WGM also.

So many theories 😂😂👍
I was this close to reach into the screen and slap him some sense into him. I started comparing him with other immortals i.e like Goblin with Gong Yoo. At least Goblin didn't know what his wife would look like, so he cannot find her. But we did see Bulgasal had her pictures of different eras, so he KNOW what she looks like, he spent all those years afk-ing, since camera technically wasnt invented then :D, but hey! at least duplicate the drawings! smh. He could of reincarnated with his loved ones years sooner.

AND if the twist turns out that she wasn't the one he needs to kill, well sh8, he can learn from his mistake and not wasting time. For someone who's hell bent on revenge, he is sure taking his sweet time.

I don't mind twists and surprises, but if they take someone hostage and then the ML has to go find them again or if it keep going around in circles, Ima riot!! D:

For 500+ years, even Eul Tae has followers and is rich, what the hell was Dan Hwal playing at? Doesn't make sense to me. He was a general once for crying out loud. Sorry just alot of misgiving regarding how the character was written, he's a useless bum with immortality.

Yknow what, a good twist would be Eul Tae, Shi Ho and Sang Un shake hands, go grab a drink while Dan Hwal sulk in the corner. I'd watch that.

For real, when I first saw her in here I was like you're so pretty, how?? Nara has a pair of huge eyes too haha.

I just hope that my theory is dumb and the writers has better twists. Because if it's something like this... ah.. they could of just condense the drama. Save time and cost.

Title Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Spoiler
Why does kdrama writers likes to go round and round in circles. Alot has happened, but nothing has happened. Alot of push and pull, just so it could fit 16 episodes. It should be written for 12. IMO.

First time seeing Goon Seung Yeon, she is crazy beautiful? I'd loved to see her again in a costume period drama, I think she'll shine. I think Nara improved her acting. Lee Joon stole the show for me honestly, I like his character. He has much more emotions than Lee Jin Wook's character, or even Lee Jin Wook himself. I saw him in Sweet Home and also in this one, his facial expression is always the same.

For the twist that the cast mentioned, don't tell me that Dan Hwal was the big bad bully this whole time. Or that the Female Bulgasal's reincarnated as Shi Ho's, and his Wife's reincarnated as Sang Un, same face different soul. So in order to relieved his immortality, he has to kill his 'wife' aka Shi Ho. Because this plot been done to rot. Sang Un doesn't have the scar, then Shi Ho probably has it.

Episode 11 foreshadowing Sang Un ran away after holding hands with Shi Ho, probably seeing her past self. The past self she saw might actually not be hers, but Shi Ho's instead. And they'll probably reveal this in later episode just for the 'twist'.

Bro joking? It's almost all set perfectly. Every force is strong in its own way, and people don't lack in common…
This is a solid perspective of how a new comer watching the drama should be. I liked the drama since I am a fan of ZRY and Hu Jun. Thus, I am already a little bias towards it. However, I still agree to what you said. The drama's a bit different. The drama make sense to the writer and director because the got the whole script, but audiences got it parts, so there's plenty of questions to account for.

As for the harem, if they follow the novel at all, you'll probably won't be seeing anything until the final season. It's like 5% romance, 10% flirting and the rest are just politics, schemes, martial arts.

What to watch now?
Listening Snow Tower, Longest Day In Chang'an. Under The Power is also a fun one.

Since you already watched JOL, skip NIF, because if you watch NIF, you will not want to watch anything else for a while. It's so good that it makes everything else subpar. Of course if you're not into political, then skip it all together lol. But the story is very well written. I was very skeptical of it when it came out, since everyone was recommending it. Ended up watching it twice in different years, lol. I hadn't seen a good one in a while, besides JOL.

Title Joy of Life Spoiler
From the last few minutes of the last episode 46 - this story is based on ZRY's character writing the novel on…
The novel does have the ice age. But the way they did it was that he died of medical issue in the hospital with no surviving relatives (present time), then got reincarnated INTO the future. So the ice age moment did passed in the human world and the current world is starting from zero, like how our ancestors did it. The temple that is so forbidden and blasphemy to speak about, holds the answers.
