I hate this 2FL with a passion! Viscerally, deep down despise. There is no redeeming quality to a character like that. Why do they continually write characters like her? 🤬

This is a fun silly old-timey style romcom. Arrogant CEO with a heart of gold, weird/messy FL that he likes for some unknown reason. Frenemies to lovers. Interesting side characters.
So far I'm absolutely loving the FL's character and Xing Zhao Lin is one of my favorites for romcoms. 🥰 Come on, who didn't love Accidently Meow on You? 😹 And dang, he's gotten even better looking!

WTF, instead of killing the evil Princess Royal, General Cui sliced up her flowers? What a disappointment. And he was going to poison her and chickened out? I like the novel better where he stabbed her and killed her then took his own life. That is justice not this piss-poor weakling sobbing crying man. Damn. 🤬 I think I'm right, there isn't going to be any revenge or retribution in this show, is there? Just lots of forgiveness and hugging out. Arrgh! Can't we please stick a little bit to the story? People like this don't have any sort of redemption arc, they are just pure evil! They deserve to be exterminated!

Wait, what, the Floral banquet is a contest? I like the original story better. The ML and the other prince both had a bunch of flowers and were to give the flowers out to girls they were interested in. The other prince did his duty and gave flowers out to all different girls. The ML pissed everyone off cause he gave all his flowers to the FL, showing everyone that he would only marry the FL. That was a great scene. It's a shame it was replaced by this copy of another show. I'm pretty sure I've seen this before, the main bad bitch will switch out her drawing with a blank to disqualify her, right? Yes, that was done in another series. Hmm, which one was that?🤔
It's starting to feel like someone fed in basic info on the show, the character names, an outline of the storyline, locations, threw them into an AI-generated drama writer and poof out came this story. There are so many bits from other recent dramas in there it feels too familiar!🤣
