Uhmm... bottom dynamtic, while there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, isn't that much of an absolute girl-thing.…
I did agree with all your points, I just don't think that type of open-minded thinking is present in the writing - otherwise the more dominant character wouldn't always, and I mean 100% of the time - be the top. It's never a football-star uke with a librarian seme.
Yeah. I kind of want to write a note to Mame about kidnapping and rape. Like this is the third time in one of…
Lhong was a psychopath that was fixated on Tharn, so I was OK with that, and he was well-acted and integral to the plot. Here we just had a random horrible person who hates Phayu for no apparent reason (because he beat him in a race? Even if he was that unbalanced, why would anyone go along with his evil scheme? Wouldn't guys like his henchmen say "stop being a pussy. You lost. Get over it."? )
This was all just too contrived and rushed, and it was too violent a contrast with the tone of the series, which up till now had been light and fun.
Happy to help out. It was a serious line. In the book, said protagonist, whilst holding Rain stated he'd have…
I understood what the line was referring to - it was such a ridiculous and crude thing to say that it made me think it had to be deliberately ridiculous. A serious way of saying it would be something like "Only Phayu can touch me." He might as well have said "I only allow Phayu's p@$ in my a$$."
That was awful. I actually can't think of anyhing positive to say. From the bleak main plot to the jarring contrast of the slapstick with excruciating sound effects (that didn't even fit in with what was happening), I didn't enjoy anything in this. I plowed through it as a Gameplay fan, but now I'm not a Gameplay fan anymore and wonder why I ever was. I just went back to watch some Ingredients and I think it was all Jeff. Or maybe because Gameplay was doing somehing he was passionate about it bled through. I don't know.
So many complains..Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but slashing a show just because you don't enjoy…
Almost nobody has just said it's terrible and unwatchable - almost everyone gives reasons, which is what this forum is for. I'd much rather read an intelligent critique than "OMG I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!".
I think sometimes people who like shows take it personally when people don't agree wih them. I can write a balanced critique explaining what I liked and didn't like and even give examples, and I'll always get "If you don't like it than don't watch it!" or something similar to your comment. I know you're spcifically reacting to simple negative statements and not critiques, but there are a lot of people who think there should only be positive comments. I think if a person just wants validation for what they think, they should stick to IG or whatever and sit around waiting for likes.
OK, I'm confused. Was that intenionally funny? I really can't tell. The acting was really good, but the plot was ridiculous and the dialog so bad that I was sure it must be intenionally so, but yet it felt like it was trying to be serious.
Can you help me out? I would have enjoyed watching that more if I weren't trying to figure this out. "Only Phayu can screw me" can't actually be a seriously line, can it? And the cartoonishly evil villain was cartoonishly evil in a boring way, whereas the cartoon vilainess in Sunshine Night is much more OTT hillarious and I'm definitely sure she's supposed to be serious.
Uhmm... bottom dynamtic, while there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, isn't that much of an absolute girl-thing.…
ricaboo is right. It is totally irrelevant what actual women are like, and it's kind of weird to bring it up. BL writers write ukes with stereotpyical feminine personalities - they could easily be replaced by a an actual girl and it would make no difference, except we probably wouldn't tolerate the negative portrayal of a woman, although for some reason people will defend it to their dying breath if it's a boy.
The whole point is that it's an old fashioned division of masculine and femine.
Ok not exactly bl top tier writing (not even close), and I'm really not a fan of these clear cut top-bottom dynamics…
You are absolutely right. With the people below it's pointless to argue. An uke is just a a girl in an old-fashioned novel with a boy playing the part. It relies on stereotypes of feminity and equates being a bottom with being femine. It's really a bore.
I'm on Ep 3. Does Dee become less awful? Who gets mad at their boyfriend because he's busy working hard? What an entitled little brat. And if Nammon were my boyfriend, he could do whatever he wanted and I'd be thanful for 5 minutes a week with him.
And if he didn't want the same things, why does he have to treat Ohm like he's a murder/rapist/genocidal maniac? He's busy at work, not abusive. I actually hate Dee.
And knight isn't any better. If you think something bad is happening, there's nothing wrong with intervening, but you don't just smash someone's head in without determining what the issue is. So uber-brat and psycho - great couple.
And the entirety of Ep 3 was about trying to find files on a computer. Riveting.
What I want to know is, does it get better, or does it get worse and enter Unforgotten Night territory? Because I'm fine with either. Just not this dull mess. Knight is really cute though.
This isnāt in the same league as Unforgotten Night. That show was a freaking masterpiece. And decent interaction…
It's true that Unforgotten Night was gloriously awful from the first minute to the last, but this last episode was up there - everything to do with the villainess was so ridiculous on every level, plus airlifting a guy who's got a bleeding brain to a cabin in a forest instead of just hiring a bodyguard...
I'm not sure UN had a lot of romance - it was mostly one or two hilarious paradoies of BDSM insterspersed with an uke behaving like a kiss on the cheek was a scandal. The other couple included a 15-year old, so it wasn't going anywhere.
Who say he is dead? They didn't find him . he maybe alive and we ned him to take down the evil doctor , I believe…
I know, but it's the moments between them that make the show worth watching - so taking that away just leaves us with flying people with brain damage to remote locations and cartoon villains at implausible board meetings.
Given the shenanigans and buildup in Episode 13, if they don't bring Rain back from the dead it will be a severe…
It's too late to avoid audience abuse. A whole episode without Payoo/Rain is Physical Therapy-level abuse, and you just know they won't get together until the last 10 seconds and will amount to a hug or possibly a bad kiss.
I'm glad they at least had a board with a public company. When they were dickering around in the hospital room…
Yeah, but did you see the break down of ownership? Doctor, 25%, Kim 25%, Rain 25%, Dad 26% = 101%. Maybe it's 24.75% and they were rounding, but there's still not any room for any other shareholders, and it's not really a public company if the family owns 76% of the shares. Plus, you can't just convene a board meeting and declare yourself CEO. They didn't even vote on it.
The share price can't decline unless everyone is trying to sell, and there's not everyone.
