I just love how expressive you are with your annoyance. I've just never thought this about Prince. I hear you…
I think maybe the problem is partly what Danieruau says below - Prince isn't really a character so much as a plot device. We don't know anything about him and so all there is to focus on is the way he treats Fah, which is crappy. Fah has negative qualities too, like everyone does, but we know his context. He's got a lot of audience sympathy just for the love he shows his brother, let alone his abs. And face. And voice. Pecs...
Boring episode. I skipped 50%. Prince's attitude was frustrating, there was no need for conflict. Fah gave an…
I agree with every single thing you said. Prince even criticized Fah because he found it unpleasant to wait for Fah to make a move. Does he think he's Repunzel? Make a move yourself!
Am I the only one that is waiting for the downfall of Goody Two-Shoes Teacher Prince? Like, where is his story…
You're kinder than I am. I don't like Prince at all. He's a dick. What does he have going for him, other than being cute? Terrible, humorless personality.
With Mike, it might be the glasses. The athletic body glistening in the bath didn't hurt. Speaking of which, Mesa is more stacked than I was expecting.
The problem with this I'm having is they're trying to make Prince... I guess "good", but he's a humorless sanctimonous prick. He's a tiresome and boring faux-saint, and while Mark is cute, the acting isn't there to give his character charm. I keep wishing Fah would give up and find someone that isn't a priggish elderly aunt trapped in a young man's body.
Prince even felt the need to complain about a brother and sister harmlessly bickering - it's none of his business, and nobody asked him for his input - that's rude, especially since their father is right there. He fell on Fah then didn't offer to help him up. Rude.
In one breath, Prince says he's tired of waiting for Fah to make a move, then immediately cuts him off before he can. Also, why can't HE make the first move? Another frigid princess. If he'd expressed interest just once, instead of constantly making Fah feel bad, they would have been together a long time ago. Another reason why the tired seme-uke model needs to be thrown out.
The last bit was cute, but otherwise it was a bit of a struggle to get through this ep.
You fell asleep so I guess you missed the 5 second cut to Kim crying over his ex. Then immediately back to naked…
That would really be a terrible superpower. A better one would be the power to force him think of old nuns and dead puppies whenever he tries to have sex.
I see you get really annoyed with thai BL putting their actors in heavy suits haha. I remember it also bothered…
Maybe, lol. But Green's tux in The Tuxedo was just hidious. I'm OK with a tux being, well, a tux - they're for formal occassions which are usually at night indoors, but his looked like a bad 1980's high school prom tux. The vest was so oversized and heavy-looking that I wasn't sure if he was going to birthday dinner or a volunteer to fight in Ukraine.
Nobody is justifying 27-year olds sleeping with 13 year olds. However, a 27 year old with a 17 year old is not the same thing. 18 is an unusually high age of consent, and just because that's the arbitrary age your country have chosen doesn't mean that people magically become sexually mature at 18. Some people are mature at 15, some people are mature at 30, some people never. The most common age of consent worldwide by far as 15. 18 isn't based on science or psychologocial study, it's just an arbitrary limit.
In this situation, a 17-year old is aggressively pursuing a 27-year old, who is uncomfortable with the age difference and resisting. We all know he'll give in, but the point is he's not trying to coerce Shin with a position of authority, which would be concerning.
So what's the difference if Shin is 17 or 18? If you're insisting on 18, then you're applying your own cutural standards on another culture, which is imperialism. I'll remind you almost all Asian homophobia was imported from the West - it was a conscious imitation of our morality because of the accident of our superior military technology.
I would have no problem with your saying "I'm against sex beween someone older than 18 with someone younger" - that is not irrational, and you're perfectly entitled to that view. But when you tell someone that you think people are mentally ill if they think it's OK if the younger person is a year younger than you do, that's jugmental, arrogant, and disrespecting almost the entire population of Earth and almost all its cultures.
So, what if someone is 27 and the other is 11 months 30 days, and 23 hours old? Is that immoral? But it's OK an hour later? Are you OK with rounding up? If so, is 11 mo 29 days OK? 11 mo?
You're applying arbitrary limits as if all people are the same.
Or what almost all boys are thinking from the age of 12. In BLs they're all fantasizing about running through idyllic fields of flowers in slow motion with rainbows and unicorns in the background, when most of us are really fantasizing about... well, hard NC-17 stuff.
We seem to be entering an second Victorian Age when it comes to sex. I was looking at statistics and it's surprising how little younger people are doing it now. 25 years ago, religiosity was a good predictor - for example in the US 14% of 14-year olds that attended church weekly were having sex vs. 26% who never went to church, and 100% for altar boys. In the last 20 years there's been a huge decline in people under 25's sexual activiy and a smaller one in people 25-35. I think it might be over-scaring children about predators, which remain overwhelmingly family members, not 27-year old laundry managers. The altar boy thing was a joke, although I was an altar boy, and well...

The above definition clearly means I am in favor of murder.
"Spheniscidosexuality" is sexual attraction to penguins. Don't let me near a zoo.
