It was terrible. They should at least have gotten a BDSM advisor or something. It was so bad I was laughing (after staring at first in disbelief). That's why I was going after the directing more than the casting. Yoon was good in YYY where he played a mysterious sexy character, and he was a few years younger then, so I thought he could do this role - maybe if he could pull off being a man with power it would work. but he's coming off as a teenager acting like he thinks men with power behave.
When I was a Freshman in college I was a bit terrified of sex because boys wanted to go "all the way" immediately, and I was new plus AIDS was a thing. I ended up with a 26-year old law student who was unselfish and really showed me sex could be wonderful. He wouldn't be my bf due to the age difference, but I'm lucky he was there.
Also the age of consent is 13 in Japan, so he's not underage. I don't know what you mean by "ok" unless you mean "not a VIctorian prude." Shin is quite clear about what he wants here. If Akira were aggressively pursing him to do something he wasn't ready for, then I'd have a problem with it. What's the difference between 17 and 18? Some people aren't ready for sex until they're 30, or never, and some people are ready way before that.
You fell asleep so I guess you missed the 5 second cut to Kim crying over his ex. Then immediately back to naked…
Unfortunately I rewound and watched it. I wasn't sure if they were trying to imply that Kim has supernatural abilities and can sense his ex having sex.
I see you get really annoyed with thai BL putting their actors in heavy suits haha. I remember it also bothered…
In Cutie Pie most of the time it was at least nighttime, and they wore more normal clothes in causal circumstances, but I thought it was a bit silly there too, and in KinnPorche, the first thing anyone does when they're not on duty is take off those suits, and at least there's no vest! I was the most harsh about The Tuxedo, because ti was a show about a tailor making clothes, but intead of a tux, Green made a boring business suit (with a vest, of course) instead of a tux, but wore a truly hideous tux (with a vest) himself.
That's BL - one series does something, so every other series has to.
It seems like the ex and his new bf are going to have a larger part in the overall story than I thought. Iām…
Your ID always makes me think we should send you in to watch it first - if you survive it's safe. Like the canary in the coal mine except with BL. You're typing here, so you made it. I'm going in.
I can't tell if this is supposed to be a comedy or a serious drama. There were at least half a dozen LOL scenes, like Kamol crossing the bed on his knees - and even within the context of American keep-your-shoes-on culture, that doesn't apply to the bed!
I'm a thoroughly average powerless person, but my job makes me have to deal with lots of powerful people, and none would ever act like Kamol - they'd be laughed out of the room. They're usually like Kim - gracious and generous. And that outfit - Kamol looks like a high school kid wearing what he thinks a gangster would wear - and THIS IS THAILAND. It's 40 degrees and the air is almost solid with humidity. A mutli-layered black outfit is tantamount to suicide.
I have to admit I was intrigued by the maid's nephew and Kamol's lieutenant.
Also, what was the gratiuitous sex scene for? I guess they figured they have two actors with amazing bodies and it would a shame to let it go to waste. Even though I'm shallow, I actually fell asleep right there.
Whomever thought Yoon was the right fit for that role should be whipped, fired, and blacklisted from ever doing…
They should have reversed the roles. Ton as an aggressor in Y Destiny nearly set me on fire - he could have pulled this off better. But it's probably more the directing than the acting. Some of the most chilling characters have been played by baby-faced actors.
He's actually always had that but we never get to see it. :) And I stalked him (only on social media).
He's probaby most known for Tharn Type where he was a gang-rape victim with severe PTSD who spent most of the time huddled in a corner looking sad, and the other recent role was That's My Candy which I wouldn't wish upon anyone, so he hasn't had much chance to show off the muscles, but you can see there's quite a bit under that t-shirt.
While it's a pity they drastically toned down the manga, I suppose it was inevitable - it might have been a bit much if Minato has said what he actually said there about being "held" by a hot guy.
But usually they get an older actor for these roles. Or make them look older than he does in the trailer. So,…
Under 30. He said HS was 10 years ago and he's almost 30 - that would make him 28 or so. Someone above said the Japanese word means "around 30" so the translation of the manga is off. But for the record, for a gay man 30 is middle-aged.
I wonder if I saw a different version of the subtitles, because for me he said "almost 30." He also said more than once that high school was ten yars ago, so he must be 28-29.
EDIT: Oh, sorry. You were talking about the manga.

Anyway, this was cute and that had a great start.
