ok so i replied but im a dumbass with a trillion learning disorders and didnt read yr comment properly lmao. godspeed…
I'm really against it and never do it unless backed into a corner like in this case. I even watch the ads on the low-budget series. Well, that's not entirely true. Sometimes it's the same ad over and over and I can't take it anymore and hit skip.
Well, that happened. I'd say I was surprised at the ending, but I'm not.
If you're looking for a happy ending, it's not. It's also not tragic, or emotional, It just ends, with the main couple not getting together, and so casually that it more or less cancels out the entire series you just watched.
Golden Blood wasn't badly directed, though - it just had an unfortunate lead. Although if he's the one who decided to cut out all the PitchBank scenes, he's not on my list of favorite people.
And let's not forget he also directed the incomparable masterpiece, Siew Sum Noi.
I will say he seems to know where to find really hot guys...With Boat, Bank, and the two leads of SSN, well, you've got a lot of hotness going on there.
That was Kaji's bf? I thought that guy said he was seeing someone else.
Personally, when too much autotune is used it's a little like fingernails on a chalkboard, but it probably doesn't bother most people. But I don't think he's bad, I just prefer the way music was handled in the anime.
I totally get the Taekyung attraction. He's cute and -- unlike most people -- says exactly what's on his mind.…
That is nice, but I'd also like a partner to have interests and be able to hold a conversation with me. If TK were my boyfriend, I'd probably just have him stand in a corner and use him as a coat rack.
I guess my problem is that I don't understand why either Shin Woo or Da On has any interest in TK. You can summarize both SW & DO's characters easily with a few words, but what exactly is TK's character? He veers all over the place from autism - and remember that everyone insisted at the beginning he was on the spectrum, which he is clearly not, to expert on the human condition, clumsy to coordinated, absent-minded to focused, incapable of understanding humor to joking around... Who is he? The answer is whatever the plot requires at that particular moment. (He does look 80 times more attractive in Ep 15 when he's wearing the beret and his forehead is finally liberated from those bangs.)
Other than that, the writing is wonderful, but I can't really invest in either ship because I don't care what happens to TK and I wish Shin Woo and Da On could just forget him and get together with each other.
Also, WHAT IS WITH THE SWEATERS. Seriously, make it stop. Even the Thai shows are full of sweaters.
It must have been difficult for Light to tell Shuo that he was raped at that time. Shuo kept asking, but Light…
That's the problem with making it so short - I think we needed to see it rather than just Shuo just saying it with one line - it was something like "I've told you so many times to stop doing this."
I like and agree with your review, but it doesn't need to be too complicated why Shuo liked him. He's a policeman, and clearly has a strong streak of White Knight syndrome, and Light is super-cute with a hot body. He really only needed one of those, but both is pretty irresitable.
That was amazing. I'm not sure why everyone keeps saying it was too short - it told the story that it wanted to tell, then it ended. It's a short film, not a series. I'd rather have an efficient story than something that meanders all over the place and doesn't get anywhere.
Anyway, the cinematography was perfect, the editing was perfect, it was well-written and acted, I couldn't have asked for much more.
I've seen the actor who plays Light in a comedic story in the Jump the Boy series which is on the director's channel on YouTube - he's really, really funny, as you can imagine. I watch it when I'm in a bad mood and it always works.
As a cop you`re seriously telling me he didn`t understand what rape is, Light told him he didn`t want to have…
Light is a prostitute, and he felt cheated on. I don't think the assumption he made was outrageous - he had told him not to go there several times and he had gone back multiple times.
They said it is not canceled but is either taken or will be taken over by a different company. So let's hope cause…
I don't think it's going to happen - when there's this much trouble, it never gets resolved, and in any case, the actors can't all just sit around waiting - they have to get different jobs, so they'd have to recast this if they want to make it, etc. I think the chances of it happening are very small, and if it does, it won't be what were were hoping for.

The music in the series isn't bad, there just isn't much of it and the series doesn't center around it. In the anime the string breaking had a lot of symbolism around it that did make sense. You can't really break a new string by dropping a guitar either, unless you drop it off a building or onto a chainsaw, or are using the wrong string, which is unlikely in this case - it just seemed random in the series and not properly set up.
The singer on the drama is fine, but not all that great IMO. The amount of autotune he uses hurts my brain, but we'll see how it goes next ep. So far it hasn't moved me like the anime did.
Anyway, this shouldn't have been done in such a short format - it would have been far superior if they'd done it in 12 eps instead of just 6.

Also, I live in California, so there's no need for sweaters. I don't even own one - if I'm going somewhere cold, I dig up a coat.
