I'm confused. Nam Goong is the self-proclaimed stylist. So why does he assign ShinWoo (who doesn't even know the…
I think it was 100% to push them together. Shiwoon is a matchmaker.
Baggy sweaters seem to be the thing right now in Asia. Have you seen Top Secret In Love? At least it gets cold in Korea. In Thailand it's 35 degrees and a billion % humidity every day. I'm surprised they haven't all died of heat stroke.
Even for everyone who likes slow pacing, wasn't that pushing it a bit? Again, it's not the pacing of individual scenes - it's the whole. I like that scenes are given time to develop, and I'm not generally tempted to put it on a higher speed. But there was a LOT of flashback in this ep and not a lot happened for the time spent, and we didn't cover much new ground.
There was no real development of their relationship, which was odd - not even a continuation, really. I wonder if maybe the love scene last ep was too early - it seems like it's been forgotten by the characters. For the pacing of this, the physical aspect of their relationship sure zipped in and then away in a flash. For all the flashback, neither character really seems to be thinking about that rather big change in their relationship - not even a reflection on how something as simple as a hug will be affected by Phob's surgery.
It's not feeling like this is going to have a happy ending. That this was set a long time ago makes me nervous, because there are things that might have considerably different outcomes 20 years ago than they would have today.
That was a terrible ending. It wasn't actually an ending. I really can't recommend this to anyone - it was disappointing from beginning to end, and even the good acting wasn't really enough.
Honestly, the directing and editing was excrutiating to watch at times, so I'm not even surprised they missed…
You can't view it as disrespectful - the hardest decisions editors & directors make is what to include and what not to - they probably filmed two or three times the footage that ended up in the final cut.
But just because it's not disrespectful doesn't mean it wasn't incredibly stupid. I'm trying to imagine the thought process. "Hey, let's extend Gun's scenery-chewing to excruciating lengths and then show the most awkard scenes a hundred times in unnecessary flashbacks. We'll have to cut out most of Pitch & Bank, but nobody ever cares about the secondary couples anyway."
Well said! I loved Pitch and Bank's chemistry a lot it felt much more natural than Sky and Sun, mostly because…
Thank you! I'm not sure why Tenon had such a positive impact on me - probably those eyes, and also I'm shallow and he has a hot body. But I hope we hear more from him, and more of that pairing.
I was okay, but by the end, I was kind of confused about the whole money exchange between Nice and his friend.…
The money was apparently for his friend to make a stock purchase. It's a little random. Nice moved out because he was hurt that Kawin's confession wasn't sincere and he only said it to cover his investigation into what he thought was Nice's criminal activities. Kawin is pretty lucky Nice forgave him because that was awful. Although they're both awful for wearing all those Nazi symbols.
Now I also understand from twitter that we apparently were robbed of some of their scenes. Absolutely HATE it…
I wonder if the youtube versions have a few more minutes - sometimes that's the case. If there's a bunch of PitchBank scenes sitting around somewhere, I think we're owed a viewing!

You mean we had to watch tortuously long Sky crying scenes and boring flashbacks when we could have had more PitchBank? I hope the scenes were at least filmed and can be released later. I honestly wouldn't have minded if Father had shot Sun and the rest of the ep was PitchBank.
Well, that was excruciating. The hospital scene at the beginning... yikes! Although I want to know more about Shin, the hot henchman in the white trousers. Why would Sun bother with the brat when he can have all that? (And why does Father only let Shin have one outfit? Maybe he thinks if shows off his ass nicely. You know Dad is tapping that.)
The OTT melodramatic crying was really awkward. I would have paid money for Sun to have said "You know, I have a giant bullet hole in my back. Can you please stop shaking and squeezing me? It's extremely painful and now I'm bleeding again." Also, why were they interrupting my shirtless Bank for this? And how was Sun able to have that fight with Shin with his injury? I guess someone must have given him a damp-towel wipedown to speed up the healing.
Boat didn't seem 100% into this like he has been so far, but it's hard to blame him with this material. I think the problem is that the last few eps have been so melodramatic, which was not really playing to Gun's strengths.
Anyway, I feel cheated that I sat through that for 30 seconds of Bank & Pitch. It was unusual (unheard of) for the uke to be able to phyically overpower the seme so easily like that, but it was kind of hot.
The preview was a jumbled mess, but it looks like something interesting and different. The female character seemed smart and kind, nobody accidentally kisssed, and the main character is gay. Wow.
Aside of that, let's not forgive LEE SO HEE so easily, that mf is the one that makes the situation like this,…
But she did admit she was wrong to Shi Woon. That doesn't make it OK, but it was good writing - she hadn't had time to process that Daon and Shinwoo knew it was her, and then she gave up the pretense, probably because she knew there was no chance Shinwoo would buy it.
But, everyone is going to forgive her and she's going to get the hottest guy on the show (other than Teacher Seo). Even if nobody here agrees Shinwoo is the hottest guy, I think almost everyone would feel she doesn't deserve him.
There are no villains in the story, but teenagers in the process of discovering new feelings. Given that, there's…
I agree there are no villains - I just don't understand al the Daon hate. I think we do have the right to judge Sohee - she outed someone for selfish purposes. It doesn't matter if she had reasons, her reasons were all invalid. Even if Sohee learns from this, the damage to Daon is done. There are mistakes, and there are deliberately malicious acts - these are not the same.
So I thought I'd check in with this after not getting through the first ep. So it starts with the vomiting after so much as a sip of beer cliche, then segues straight into slight nudge sends uke flying across hall to land in a hug which lasts for 20 minutes as they stare at each other.
Is this a parody, or a serious attempt at a story? I really can't tell. They did manage to get through a fairly long scene at a swimming pool without anyone getting injured or a ghost showing up, so there's that.

EDIT: And in Ep 18 he's got yet another Nazi shirt. C'mon. Someone involved with the production had to notice this.
