I'm a little confused by this - it Nuea's family supposed to be upper-class? Why do they all behave like trash? The grandmother lost her mind in the middle of a party because someone broke a plate - nobody with any class would ever behave that way - it's an utter humiliation and dishonor to the family to be so cheap and petty in front of guests. And the mother is so rude to everyone - she's just trash. You can be cutting and polite at the same time. Instead of "you dress like a slut", you glance at her outfit and say, "Oh, how daring you are!".

Anyway, I enjoy that there's only one non-evil character in this. At least there are conniving and evil gays and straight men too in addition to the usual females.

I don't think any BL writers have ever gotten drunk - they never write drunkeness realistically. Usually not even close.

I don't get what has happened here - S1 was so good, and this is just melodramatic trash. Nobody even took off their shirt this episode. I mean give us SOME reward for watching this. (TBH, I didn't. I quickly scanned through it for shirtlessness. I'm shallow and I gave up on this with Ep 4).

Oops, I should have marked that a spoiler - my apologies for that. I don't particularly like James (I really want to take a set of hedgeclippers to that hair. He must get attacked by birds a lot that are trying to find materials for nests.)

His affair with Ait is totally inappropriate - it's not as bad as Tee, but it's irresponsible. He could have waited 6 weeks until filming is over.

I totally agree. Go Big Or Go Home. Well, they definitely went big for Leo's house, but that's about it.

The masturbation scene was especially ridiculous because Fiat had just said he can't think of a way to ask Leo for a hug. Spooging all over his bed without asking he can manage, but not a hug.

Also, did he not take off that overcoat all the way home to Thailand on the plane and coming from the airport in Bangkok heat & humidity?

I didn't say he handled it well, but he did have a legitimate reason to be upset - and sometimes when you get a negative surprise like that, even someone mature might have a poor initial reation. I would have to leave if I were in his position - I wouldn't even be able to process it until I was alone.

James did stand up to Tee - about three episodes too late, but at least he did it.

I don't expect it to wrap up in two episodes - they haven't even started filming the series yet - this is likely to have more seasons, I think.

Hmm. I'm getting a little tired of hearing about Joshua's ex-girlfriend, and while I can feel Gerald's desire for Joshua, I don't feel it the other way around, and I'm starting to not care, although part of that might be that it's been so long since I saw Ep 3 that any connection to it is broken.

It's a little hard to believe there's any real attraction between them if they could climb into a bed, get into that state of undress, and even under the influence nothing at all happens - not even cuddling.

The quality of production was a little better this ep. Drei Arias looks really strange with that intense fake tan - he's so orange he should run for US president, and they need to redden his lips or something so he doesn't look like he's ill.

Congratulations to Gus Villa for that scene when they'd just woken up. No wonder Josh doesn't like swimming - I doubt there are any swimsuits sized to accommodate him.

Do they at least have sex with a chicken?

I forgot to say - Michael Kiettisak. Jesus Christ. He inhabits that role to such an extent that I'm worried it may damage him. I can't believe it - I don't think I've seen a more total performance than this in any BL ever made, including ITSAY. He's just good, period, by any standards, not just BL - he could hold his own with the best film actors.

Tee is one of the creepiest villains ever, but you have to give it to Kenneth Won - he's doing a fantastic job with the role. Tee could have been an OTT 2D villain, but he makes him loathesome and human at the same time.

It's always interesting how tastes are different. First does absolutely nothing for me, but I think Ja is super-hot.

James told Tee that if he ever lays so much as a finger on Bas again, he would personally destroy him, so I don't really think I can agree he's a pushover.

People keep saying this, but this episode was totally focused on Bas - there was almost nothing in it that wasn't about Bas except the opening scene.

Well, someone did something incredibly malicious that could destroy him and James both, so it's not some frivolous concern he had, and Ait doesn't have the insight into what's happening with Bas that Marco has, plus it hadn't even occurred to him that it was Bas who did it, so I don't see it quite as negatively as you do. Last episode his jealousy was ridiclous and made me want to slap him silly, but I don't think he did anything wrong this ep.

Are you writing this before watching today's episode? Because he most certainly did something when he contfronted Tee.

Did you see today's episode? It seemed thoroughly Bas-centric to me. In fact it was 100% Bas-centric except for the first scene, which I could have done without.

I think we're starting to get overly harsh about James and Ait. What Bas did was a serious betrayal, and while we understand it because we've been given a window into Bas' situation, Ait doesn't have the same context. All he can see is that someone he trusted did something incomprehensibly malicious, and he has every reason to be hurt and upset.

James finally manned up this episode and stood up to Tee in no uncertain terms - does he get no credit for that? His relationship with Ait is relevant to the theme of the story, which is that people have to hide who they are and who they love because that's what the fandom demands. They don't need to spend as much time on it as they do, and Ait's psycho jealousy of Marco is hard to get past, but the storyline not irrelevant.

This is not a standard BL. If you're here for cute relationships between cute boys, you're in the wrong place, and you're only going to be disappointed if that's what you're expecting. This isn't that kind of story.

I think we can all guess that Marco is speeding somewhere as fast as he can go right now and will probably get there in time, but this is not a light-hearted fantasy like almost all BL. There's nothing wrong with light-hearted fantasy - it's why I watch BL - but it's not fair to expect it where it isn't pretending to be.

Agree about the hair, but not the creepy & wimpy. Sometimes "creepy" is a fig leaf for "unattractive". We don't want to say someone is unattractive because that's judging someone by their appearance, whereas "creepy" s a personality trait and so fair game.

James stood up to Tee and threatened him if he ever touched Bas again. That is not wimpy.

I think it's fair to say James and Ait are the director's fantasy fulfillment, since James is him - he's giving himself the cute boy. While James and Ait's relationship is relevant to the story, I don't think we need moments like the opening scene, which added nothing to the story and used up a valuable chunk of time.

I think the objection to Ait & James is that it comes off as fantasy-fulfillment by the director, which obscures the message of the story. I do feel that way to an extent - not so much this ep, although the opening scene seemed self-indulgent to me.
