If anyone is wondering if they should watch this, I would say you don't need to - you really aren't missing anything. There is no relationship development, the writing is a mess, and it really doesn't make sense. The basic lines of the plot do, but nothing else does - the writer seems unable to tell the difference between manipulation, pranking, lying, and having fun, because they're all mashed together as "lying". If you love Gene & Sib and can't get enough, then you may like it.
Warning: Tum doesn't wear even one form-fitting shirt, so prepare for disappointment.
It was a struggle to get through it for me. Slow and boring, except for about 10 minutes towards the end.
Then we got a few minutes of pointless Aoey & Mork, which nevertheless felt like a glimpse into a different and much, much better story. Bruce is such an amazing actor - even that brief scene felt like a breath of fresh air.
I felt more chemistry between Aoey and Mork, even though they were never in the same scene, than I do from Gene & Sib, which feels like two Mannequins posed to imitate love. There's something mechanical about even their kissing, as the montage at the end underscored - they only thing different in each vignette was their clothes. No passion at all - just by the way their bodies are separated while they're kissing instead of pressed together like people who actually want to touch each other.
I found ep. 11 nice and entertaining. I cannot say that it was too slow. The fact that the main actors jump around…
It was a little slow at times. I thought the anime part dragged on forever, and if the two leads weren't so incredibly attractive and hot together a lot of their scenes would have felt long. I was actually starting to get tired of the last scene until THAT happened.
The second half of Y-Destiny has been great. I like the maturity and sexiness of the stories for a change. I actually…
They didn't do much, but that was the sexiest interaction between a couple I've seen on a BL since... ever. These two should be the main pair in all the BLs.
Why is it always the case that when people are actually speaking English, the subtitles re-translate them, usually into worse English/
Anyway, their accents are so sexy. Also, they keep talking about how hot Sat is, and he's super-cute, but has anyone actually SEEN Choke? That man is gorgeous. Although Sat looked hot dressed as a boy with a distinctly man body.
Choke & Sat have really great chemistry - like the best I've seen. I was actually really hot & bothered when they were just sitting at the edge of the pool. When that thing that happened at the end happened, I nearly burst into flame. That was extremely not-BL in the best way.
I like that this series is willing to push the limits and have adults act like adults. Even if they chose an 11-year old trapped in a man's body to do it. Although it's not like any boy isn't doing that at 11. Usually not to someone else, but then there was a boy I fooled around with when I was even younger than that. He was Mormon. That would make a great game show. "Gay, or Mormon?" It's really hard to tell.
I'm starting to lose my patience for this series - I like that they're doing something different, but it's turning into an extended episode of Scooby Doo. I almost expect the last line to be "And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those darned kids!!!"
I really actively dislike all the side characters - especially Mesa, and Kaew was even annoying at the accident.
However, we got to see more of sweaty naked tied-up Kim, so all is not lost. Peter's body is so amazing. They continue to play with the seme/uke thing - it's funny, Tha said Kim was being crude when he was behaving like a seme, but then did exactly the same thing himself when he turned it back around. The dialog in that scene made no sense, so I wonder if there was a mistranslation. It came off as "I can't open my heart to you, but I will f@#$ you now."
That doesn't look great, but I would need to see what came before to make a definitive judgment - he may have asked permission to touch them or something mitigating that puts it in a more positive light.
However, he still directed Nitiman and Oxygen and there's nothing that can make that OK. :)
***TRIGGER WARNING***I hope viewers of this show are aware of this clip -https://twitter.com/dearbillkin/status/1399587755764502528?s=20.…
I took from it that he was showing them how to angle their heads - turn one way then the other - you can see Jom practicing it immediately after.
I generally don't like to make strong judgments based on a brief clip taken out of a larger context. Did he just walk up to them and mash their heads together? Or had he tried to verbally explain and they didn't get it? Did he ask for permission before touching them? We don't know.
It doesn't look great as it is, but unless we see what came before I don't think there's anything conclusive to take from it.
Both & Newyear are not that terribly young either. Newyear is 26 and Both is 33, but what counts is that they…
All fine, but then why have them in the show? What purpose do they serve except to consume screen time, which is already insufficient for the huge cast? I don't see what's melodramatic at all about calling them "viewer-bait" - it's not melodramatic at all, it's a rational analysis.
You seem to be very invested with this couple, so the producers were correct in their marketing strategy.
I want to support this show, but I'm losing patience. First, I have no idea what's going on, and second, it's just people sitting around talking with poor sound. There's a scene where Nico is walked home by another guy - Prince is obviously unhappy, and then the scene ends and Nico's meeting the guy for breakfast. What we would have wanted to see was whatever Prince discussed with Nico as a result, but nope, we went to new guy throwing cheesy lines at Nico
Also, the only plot devices used for drama or character interaction are 1) crashing into each other, and 2) people getting randomly beat up and rescued. If I lived in that neighborhood, I'd be very careful before rounding a corner, because 100% of the time, there is somoene in a huge hurry there. We need a lot more showing and less telling, but the showing is the same thing over and over again.
Also, this is the second time the subtitles gave out about a third into the third part (of 3), so now I have to remember to go back to it later. I don't mind waiting until their done, but don't post it as Engsub if it's not.
I'll give it one more chance with Ep 3, but if it doesn't improve, I'm dropping it.
That's how I'm seeing it as well. All I can see in these past two episodes is a relationship beautifully, yet…
I was like Teh in High School and I put a lot of pressure on my Oh'Aew, and it caused a major counterreaction (he joined the marines). This series is going to be really painful for me to watch.

I had an old-fashioned mechanical one. When I was a freshman I was in a triple dorm room (and one of the guys had a more-or-less live-in girfriend), so I was generally exiled to the lounge when writing, and self-exiled during all the loud sex.
Both & Newyear are not that terribly young either. Newyear is 26 and Both is 33, but what counts is that they…
To me that seems really young - I was still an idiot at that age when it comes to romance. If Newyear is 26 and has been in a relationship for 8 years it's likely he's only been in one relationship, so I'm not sure I want his advice.
Anyway, if they needed to be in this, they should have been given a storyline. Otherwise, they're just viewer-bait playing themselves.
I think while writing this review a few months back I had hopes for people to understand. But now that I’ve…
I call it cute boys being cute to each other (and nothing else). Any displays of male sexuality are unwelcome. It's a well-known fact, after all, that high school and college-age boys have no interest in sex and only want cuddling and awkwardly long eye-contact after they trip and fall and end up with their faces too close together. Kisses are occassionlly acceptable if they're just the barest touch, preferably accidental.

I came across an old laptop sitting in the garage the other day - it was over 3 cm thick. I don't remember what year it's from, and I don't even remember using it. But it was probably easier to carry aound than the typewriter I had to use to type all my papers in college
I was enjoying this until Ep 3 - which was entirely with a psyhotic fujoshi and her plan to use the old BL standard for determining if someone likes you - after all, why just ask when you can use an innocent woman to make him jealous?

I do like it when tropes are played with a little, like in Hidden Love where they keep screwing with seme/uke.
Even here in this ep it was a little funny that she imitated the trope with a fake fall/catch.

I think I might be grumpy today. Sorry. :)
