That was dull and sleep-inducing, with horrendously belabored scenes of zero importance.

I will say I was impressed that there's an actual BL main character that's actually realizing he's gay, not a straight guy who happens to like one guy. That was a well-written scene. But unfortauntely, zero chemistry between the mains.

The rain scene was a bit cliched and forced - "let's find shelter, but not the car that's a few feet away, let's try to find a dilapidated hut full of large frogs instead!" But Poom took his shirt off so I was happy. That man has a perfect body - athetic but not overly gym-pumped.

Anyway, I've started having to watch this on 2X. Again, an 8 episode story stretched out to 12.

Is the uncut version substantially different?

I had trouble keeping aware this episode. I was genuinely scared awake when that teacher popped the confetti thing because it was much louder than the droning of emotionless voices that contitutes the entirety of this series. Except maybe Mon, who is angry about something petty 24/7, but even that's such a steady state that it can't keep me awake.

Kim's smile or Per in shorts revive me a bit, but that's about it.

For next ep, let me use reverse psychology:NutTan won't kiss or hug.PerTar will remain friends.KitShane and KimMon…
Can I add one? There won't be a completely stupid "triple-take" when there's a hug, as if it was meaningful in any way and not something you routinely do with friends or your grandmother.

I agree 19 year olds supposed to be high in sex drives but apparently the gays are seen as nuns💀 What is this…
I'm starting to wonder if they do anymore. I'm guessing that at least BL audiences don't.

Romantic relationships and sexual relationships are not the same. Let’s not arbitrarily conflate the two for…
You're misunderstanding the point - it isn't about the sex, it's about the intimacy. It's a different energy between couples than it is between friends, and this is almost 100% friend energy.

Don't forget that this isn't a series that takes place over a couple of weeks, it covers an entire school year. if the two couples haven't worked out those issues in that time, they're really not suitable for each other.

Regarding actors, I think you have it backwards. You don't santize a story so the actor is confortable, you cast an actor that is comfortable with playing the part. If an actor isn't ready or willing to be intimate, then he should play different roles - there are plenty of non-romances. And again, we're not talking about sex, we're talking about portraying people in romantic love with each other.

I get your point, and while we've seen this issue in the past, I think there's a bit more context here than simply…
I think you're right to a degree, but straight romances still have more heat to them even if there's no sex or kissing. There's a freedom to look at each other "that way" that the m/m couples aren't given. If neither couple mentioned being boyfriends, you would never know this was a romance - it's just about friends supporting each other. That would not be the case in a m/f romantic drama - it's clear that it's a couple, even without much physical intimacy.

If you are watching for nc scenes than this is the wrong show. We are on ep 11 so you should know what to expect…
A gay romance suggests that someone is getting penetrated, and men are never supposed to seek or enjoy that in cultures that are homophobic - I'm thankful BL has eased up on the uke having to be forced, because that's somehow less objectionable than a man wanting and enjoying being b#!!-f^&*ed.

I don't understand why people are so tolerant of this - it's just plain homophobic.

I'm not sure why people's minds instantly go there. That's not wht Go-Ya said at all. It has nothing to do with sex or NC scenes - those are not necessary at all to portray roman tic energy - you don't even need kissing. But people who are romantically involved, especially at the beginning and especially young guys, will lean into each other when talking and touch each other, and look at east other with some heat. There is zero romantic energy between any of these couples, even the adults!

I don't think they'd last even if they stayed in the same place. They might talk it out every time, but they keep…
Totally agree. Or Kim will get tired of Mon getting upset with him all the time and find someone who's less high-maintenance.

Hmm. The last scene was good, but there's been no BL and no chemistry till now (and tripping and falling with your face close to someone else's and staring at each other for a ludicrous amount of time is not "chemistry", it's lazy writing and cliched to the point of... it just makes me feel tired inside.

So I don't think this has been well set up. It's way too late in the series to be starting the romance - up until now, Yo has acted like a giant lizard was about to swallow him whole whenver Jom came near him.

And while I'm all for GL, I'm not for it in my BL, especially if it's for totally extraneous side characters and beginning past the halfway point.

I had a little panic and was relieved to find the Poom playing Fluke looked sooo good in the scene where he tricked that girl into meeting with him, and I was relieved he's 19 and I'm not a pedophile. His acting was amazing, way better than anyone else's, because his 30 seconds stuck with me more than all the other acting in the entire series combined.

One thing I'll say is that it's interesting to have the uke more alpha and muscular than the seme for once. At least in this case it makes a lot of sense for the older guy to lead things.

How old is Jom in this? We know Yo is about to be 20 (Thai legal age) but they don't say how old Jom is. I figure…
The Thai legal age is 18. Or did you mean Yo, at 20, is within the Thai legal age? It's actually 15, but you also need parental consent until 18, and someone under 18 OR a parent can retroactively withdraw consent, so you'd have to be very reckless to risk it.

They haven't given us much clue as to Jom's age, but he seems to have attended college and has been chief for a few years, so I would guess he's supposed to be in his late 20s to about 30. But maybe I'm assuming that because the actors are 21 and 27.

Taiwan needs to watch this and learn not to romanticize adoptive siblings😂. Maybe they can learn from Yu Ha…
But they are adoptive siblings, altough it's really more like step-father & step-son. Is that somehow less creepy and objectionable to you? At least step-brothers are equals. Yuha and Taeha are not.

could be an Asian thing. and as you can see they're quite old not teenagers
I don't think he's a brute because he was upset that they weren't even formally broken up and she already had a boyfriend. The implication is that she was cheating on him when they were together. TBH I thought he was relatively controled given the circumstances. Also, Minyu confronted an angry person with his guard up from behind - he's lucky he didn't get decked.

If you just meant that he looks brutish, then I'd have to agree. He might actually look OK if you took the two supernaturally beautiful men out of the frame - it's like a candle in sunlight.

4.2? lol i had never seen a low rating like this one
This always haappens with this producer - someone puts in a bunch of very low votes, and it invariably rises as more people watch because their productions are very good.

in China their series always tend to be dubbed because of different dialects etc i just want to mention that this…
Did all that happen in the novel? Because that's not morally gray, it's black as soot!

The acting in this is pretty good, but the ML is a bit cartoonish - not the actor's fault, the character as written.

Yes, he is written too off-putting. With a fictional unhinged romantic lead, murderous I can get over, but rape…
I understood the guy was a prostitute, but he's still a human being!
On Revenged Love Jun 24, 2025
Isn't Chi Cheng a little too horrible? In the first episode alone he had someone gang-raped and then tried to murder a couple for criticising him for parking like an asshole. That's a little too evil to be redeemable.

Also, is the entire series dubbed like ep 1? It'sdistracting but maybe I could get used to it.
