Glad I didn't pay mind to comments here. First episode was typical episode one setup and I wasn't bothered by pacing at all, I thought it was a great intro to get us into the heart of the drama. Loving this so far!

Yeah these women are messy and naive and will make a mess of things. They've got issues and baggage and they're going to make clumsy mistakes. This isn't a wish fulfillment badass heist type of show. It's a stark mystery drama about girls who are thrown into stuff they don't know how to handle.

I don't get why people are mad about it being called Little Women. Not all adaptations are exact copies and actually often the best ones come when they take a story and do a completely new take on it. I LOVE how this is a new modern spin in a different genre but with enough little connections here and there that fans of the book can spot them happily. The inspiration is clearly there and it's valid to nod to the original. If the team had just pretended it had nothing to do with 'Little Women' then people would probably be complaining about copying 😅

I never said people aren't allowed to rate 1-5, just that people seem more likely to rate finales, as opposed to the other episodes, a 1-star if they are unhappy. I often see last episodes of dramas with lower ratings than the rest. Doesn't mean everyone hated it, often just that those who did strongly hated it.
