I can’t believe how much I’m enjoying this. I cannot even guess where the plot is going. I love all the characters, of course the visuals and fight scenes are serving just as hard. I really hope it stays strong🤞🏻
Guys the flashbacks are LIP actors i thought it will be totally different actors i know the stories are connected…
Both dramas were already filmed and edited before LIP even aired so they were able to put the scenes together. LIP finished filming Dec 2023 and SnB May 2024.
Easily binged ep 1-5 as this has exceeded my expectations. Especially ep 5, I’m totally hooked 💖💖

The storytelling is so unique. Lots of mystery. The producer wasn’t joking when he said he created a new genre by combining xuanhuan/fantasy with wuxia (martial-arts).
The visuals are fantastic! The pacing is good. I’m enjoying the unexpected comedy. And of course there is angst.
The actual villain is everything!! I didn’t expect this actor to be him but I’m absolutely loving it 😍
LYX character is definitely giving me Tantai Jin 2.0 nostalgia, in the best way possible. I’m loving the rest of the cast too.
Ep 1-3 such a solid start!! I was hesitant about this but I’m happy that they’ve kept the essence of Blood of Youth - this one is darker which I love. All the characters are intriguing and unique. The cinematography is so stunning. As a romance girlie, the bits of romance are cute but more than anything I’m soo here for the bromance between the male leads 💖💖
🌸 Contract relationship (she hires him to sleep with her). 🌸 Hot kiss scenes. ML is literally devouring her while kissing. The chemistry is fantastic and its the lead’s 3rd collab (Maid’s Revenge), so you can just tell how comfortable they are with each other. 🌸 Lots of shirtless scenes 😌 🌸 Plot is the spice 😂😂 Well, other things happen too. There are kids involved that were surprisingly endearing (and had little screen time). The poster makes it seem cutesy but there is actually lots of angst.
❌ Second half had a mix of annoying and psycho characters + dramatic situations. For a mini, this drama was a bit too long (over 5h)
Overall, it was a casual fun spice with some annoyance but the ending was wrapped up beautifully. I guess I recommend it a try.

This drama is a perfect mix of mega angst, satisfying revenge, unexpected betrayals, savage murders, intricate politics and fated romance.
Yes, just like any drama, there are some flaws. But for me, the emotional experience and attachment to the drama is the most important thing, and here I found myself going through non-stop emotions while watching - smiling, laughing, jaw dropping, stressing, cheering and crying.
I loved all the characters, the story, the pacing, the ending. This drama has easily become one of my top 2025 favourites. I cannot recommend it enough!
