I really liked Les Interpretes (until the last 5-6 episodes, yes I enjoyed it past the halfway point than most people did haha) and I just love Yang Mi soooo much. So am I going to watch this? yes, probably yes LOL. even though this is probably one of her "filler" dramas but I miss seeing her onscreen haha
at the moment, no subs anywhere. It's actually even hard to watch this raw if you don't have access to Youku. There is two channels that have been uploading this raw on YouTube, but they get taken down after a few days due to copyright. So I find myself in a rush to watch all the episodes the day they came out before they're taken off YouTube hahaha
Is it just me or Zhang Vin is in like all of the dramas Dilraba is in? Are they dating or just besties?
It's because they are all under Yang Mi's company. Liu Wayne, Zhang Vin, Dilraba and Lai Yi and Vengo Gao are all under Yang Mi. So Yang Mi often puts them all in the same dramas together.
the scene where Yuan Chun is trying to kill the king ------super satisfying!! LOL especially when she literally…
ahhh sorryyyy :((
I mark a lot of my comments as spoilers (if you look in previous pages of comments, but sometimes I forget ---please do forgive me XD)
is it just me but I can't stop watching even though this drama is so boring. I'm on ep 24 and im still…
are you on ep 24 TV or uncut version?? Because ep 24 for uncut version is one of my favorite episodes LOL and also a major turning point in the story.
if you're not super into romance then this drama is really good (in my opinion of course) this drama is more action-packed and the romance is there but not the main focus.
but if you've already gotten to ep 24 uncut version and you still don't like it, then maybe you should drop it? whatever suits you XD
the scene where Yuan Chun is trying to kill the king ------super satisfying!! LOL
especially when she literally lists out all of his crimes and bad things he's done----love it.
for once you can tell she actually understood everything that happened, just that some of her actions are really emotionally charged haha
"it's not that i've changed, it's that Chun'er has finally grown up" :((
sucks that Yuan Che came in to stop her though lmao
I feel so bad for Yan Xu, he was such great Prince, he truly didn't deserve that and Although I heard he's…
In the books, they are actually a romantic couple for a while, but I think they changed it for the cdrama so that YX likes her but I think CQ only sees them as comrades/best friends.
Although the preview shows CQ and YWY chatting by the frozen lake, I feel that the actual frozen lake scene won't happen until Sunday or Monday. There's like another battle that happens right before/occurs right during the frozen lake scene. BUT in the previews for tmrw's episodes, CQ looks to be very disappointed in YX.
HELOOO ALL MY FRENSS!! i heard some of u guys mentioned about Yuwen Yue is gonna be dead? how is he gonna die??…
First he had to recover from his injuries. His family kicked him out and he lost his position in the govt I think, so basically he was left with nothing. He pretty much started from scratch and set up a new government in Qing Hai, where he later ruled. Then he went back and killed(??) someone with an important position in Xia (Wei is only for the cdrama) government and took that person's place, so he rises to power again. Long process---also for a long time no one knew who the hell the King of Qing Hai was because he never revealed himself until two years later.
Chu Qiao was about to leave Yanbei at the start of those two years, but some crap happens so she stays at the very edge of Yanbei for two years (she stayed for Yanbei people not YX though because she and YX do not communicate at all these two years). At the beginning of her stay she went to retrieve YWY‘s "corpse" and some other stuff happens. At the end of the two years, some serious shit goes down which forces her to leave Yanbei completely. I'm going to try to summarize this stuff in better detail in that discussion thread I plan to put up after the drama ends.
I have come to this conclusion that whether or not some of the characters we're shipping (obviously, YY and…
yes omg couldn't have said it better!! I'm okay with the cliffhanger ending.....as long as they don't film a season two with different cast LOL.
and totally agree with all the work the team put in for this drama, like especially with those fight scenes and all those brutal scenes.
I have a feeling I'm going to be epically disappointed in the ending. WTF already!
Sad endings do not equate to terrible endings. But historical cdramas and wuxia dramas tend to have sad endings---thats just the style. I quite like it when the ending is sad haha more cathartic feeling.
Is Yuwen Yue character based on real facts? There was someone called Yuwen Tai who was a general for the Wei state…
Nope, pretty sure YWY character is not based on real facts. In the books his name is Zhuge Yue. The books are set in a made-up Chinese dynasty. However, either for easier production or maybe China has a thing where you can't have historical dramas in madeup dynasties, the production team adapted the story to fit during the Wei/Liang dynastic era, so they changed the last names to fit with history but kept the first names that the characters had in the book. Because in the book, Yuan Chun/Yuan Song are actually Zhao Chun/Zhao Song and Xiao Ce is Li Ce.
I remember when I read the novels for Legend of Concubine Zhen Huan, that story was also set up in a non-existent Chinese dynasty, so the production team adapted the story to be set in the Qing dynasty for the drama adaptation.
I originally watched it on YouTube, but I think whoever uploaded it took it off due to copyright issues :((
But if you understand Chinese and have access to Youku, you can watch it on there.
I think since it just aired, there aren't alot of platforms that have it yet.
Okay so before everyone starts questioning "OH MY GOD WHY DIDN'T YUWEN YUE JUST TAKE HER AND LEAVE WITH…
hehe it's okay @sebba totally get what you mean :D
I am planning on writing a summary of what happens after the frozen lake scene to share with everyone (if the drama plans to end it there).
The frozen lake scene itself makes CQ's emotions explode in the book, like she obviously doesn't want him to die so maybe we can see that in the drama hopefully XD
HELOOO ALL MY FRENSS!! i heard some of u guys mentioned about Yuwen Yue is gonna be dead? how is he gonna die??…
He "dies" lolollol he doesn't actually die but everyone thinks he's been dead for at least two years. Also you might want to mark your comment as spoiler!!
Okay so before everyone starts questioning "OH MY GOD WHY DIDN'T YUWEN YUE JUST TAKE HER AND LEAVE WITH…
I also hope we get scenes that shows that she has shifted her heart towards YWY, although in the book those scenes occur after his death. She burns paper money for him all the time, she even traveled to his country to retrieve his corpse and since "his corpse" was mutilated, she burned it into ashes to bury it and idk you could tell pretty well in the book that it's not just because YX betrayed her. Idk if the drama will get that far though :((
I think you can tell she's wavering, especially the whole episode with their fight scene in the bath and taking care of Mo'er but like I said above, she's not going to drop everything just to be with YWY. And since her personality/character is more inclined towards her beliefs rather than love, it'll definitely take some time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3JlHAo5rak at the end of the video, Xinger leaves Yan xuan and Yuwen and Xinger…
highly doubt it'll be tomorrow.
the ending to that video you linked is not an actual teaser for tmrw because those scenes were cut and pasted from the MV for the opening theme song.
8.7? Wth.. this is the first drama that makes me want to pull every strand of my hair off and although the chemistry…
same!!! the romance isn't even the main part people!! lolololol I really liked the book because of it's story/plot and although the drama has a few changes, I still enjoy this drama adaptation. I watch all the episodes the day they're released too.
Okay so before everyone starts questioning "OH MY GOD WHY DIDN'T YUWEN YUE JUST TAKE HER AND LEAVE WITH HIM" ....please think carefully, like is that really the best and safest option for the both of them????
I know a lot of people are like why doesn't CQ just go with YWY already, but if you think about it, she spent 3 years with YX through thick and thin. Any normal person isn't just going to drop their comrade for love, especially for a love that they aren't 100% sure of or trust in (at least not yet). A girl like CQ isn't going to just drop everything she's been fighting for so that she can pursue love lmao.
Also YWY doesn't really have the power to keep her safe if he takes her back to Wei because she's technically a national criminal LOL and at the moment he doesn't have anywhere else to take her (since Qing Hai hasn't been setup yet in the story) so of course he's going to leave her to the safest option which is with YX because YWY knows YX is going to save her/take care of her.
Also the drama is looks like it's doing its best to follow the book. In the book there's a couple more things before she completely loses her hope in YX. You might wonder why, but I think that a strong friendship like theirs will definitely take a couple terrible things to actually break. Even after the frozen lake scene, she ends up staying in Yanbei for two more years (although she doesn't talk with YX at all; she stayed for the people of Yanbei) and there's like this one final climax that forces her to leave Yanbei completely. In today's episode, she makes it quite clear why she is still "fighting for YX" although to her it's more like she's fighting to save Yanbei because Yanbei has always been the home of her beliefs, etc.
p.s. this drama isn't mainly focused on the romance!!! the book doesn't even have THAT much either!! also CQ was very badass and cool in today's episode (I especially love the scene where CQ and Yu girl had that intense conversation)
anyways long rant but I just lowkey feel like I'm the only one that's okay with CQ and YWY not being together yet?? or maybe it's because I read the book and I know that they'll end up together but anyways yeah haha
I mark a lot of my comments as spoilers (if you look in previous pages of comments, but sometimes I forget ---please do forgive me XD)
