For anyone who wants to see more about how all this came to be, you know there's the Youku playlist of Director's…
Thanks. I don't really care about BTS and stuff. But I was curious about their real voices. CDL has a low, deep voice. Unfortunately they only allow older ladies in dramas to retain such tones. A shame.
The Devil Bone was a must before, but it's not the only way to bring the DG around. The WEAPONS are recognising…
Yeah. I was just saying that because people say he should've been given chance to fight DG from the start as he's doing now, which is very risky gamble. Here he is given more time before mortal death, he has cultivation, and most importantly the future has changed.
Before everything was focused on preventing the the catastrophe that would have happened present-time. That has not happened. So they have time to figure out and fight for another day.
How is it that in this timeline LSS mortal father only found her egg some decades back and sent her for reincarnation…
I think everything they talk about is normal time-flow same as mortal. The only question is whether the 10,000 years is mortal time or even more in mortal time. Because technically it was the SQ realm and Barren Abyss who keeps saying 10,000 years and their time should be slower, but it's really not discussed much in this drama.
One thing that is important to note. TTJ is without the devil bone. LSS has it. Everything he's able to do now, one has to take that into account--the danger from him having the DB is not there. Even more so, LSS is right now keeping the DB in check.
How is it that in this timeline LSS mortal father only found her egg some decades back and sent her for reincarnation…
Yeah, I did wonder if cultivators time was slower than mortal time, but it didn't seem to be that way since mortals also could go there and it's technically still in the mortal world so I always figured and the way they talked seemed to be still mortal years. For instance when TTJ was found, he was told he would have to wait another 500 years, which if time in the sect were slower, wouldn't have been a big deal really.
Also going by how they talked about XL's history and how GY reacted when CJM told him he was born 500 years ago, I suspected it would be the same passage of time in the sects. Hence her father was still talking in time that is equivalent to mortal years.
PYZ could read all that from the books, but he still seemed to have pieced together about TTJ, which he was clueless about earlier.
One thing I have to say about this drama. It gives motivation and an understandable justification for DG from his own point of view (one that's good for him but bad for everything/one else).
The cultivator told CJM that DG is the incarnation of all the mortal world's pain, grief, anger, etc. But Ming Ye said what I think is even more correct. That he's the incarnation of the all those from mortal, demon and immortal realms.
From DG's POV, no wonder he wants to go into nothingness. Imagine that fate man. Being created out of all the negative things in the world that will always be there. Even the ones who condemn and fight you have a hand in creating you.

Ahh, okay, so that makes sense that the immortal tribulations need not be linear. They don't have to happen in the mortal present and future but also past.
It's not just the novel readers, the drama too I think Qu says LSS went for multiple turbulations in the mortal world.
They are different people but the story ties in to both present-times of the storyline.
Yes. Because they went in, they played out the parts. In actuality it probably should've been their consciousness and they would see the actual faces of the characters, but since this is a drama they can't have different actors, heh. So in the drama take it that the dream characters took on their forms.

Sorry for asking more questions.
Yeah I realize the egg is older than 10k. Your explanation would make sense if not for the fact that LSS took this information and concluded that YXY is the egg's mortal incarnation.
How could that be possible if that had to have happened before 500 years, and everything that happened before 500 years would've been the same. For instance how could in this timeline Qu only finds Di Mian only decades ago after LSS saw in cave 500 years--if in this own timeline YWX existed 500 years ago. That means the egg--if that YXY is that incarnation--would've had to been found more than 500 years ago.
I have a question about episode 31, particularly the timeline.
How is it that in this timeline LSS mortal father only found her egg some decades back and sent her for reincarnation in the mortal world, which LSS concluded was YXW.
I've thought about it and it doesn't make sense if we go by the fact that only LSS travelled back in time. YXY existed 500 years ago from present timeline. LSS father would've had to have found her egg before that.
Also how did PYZ become so knowledgeable of everything related to DG myth, folklore etc. I guess one can say he researched and pieced it together in the following years, along with some divinations.
Can someone explain why Xiwu gave up her mission for Xiao. She has no relationship with him in this timeline and…
It is one of the only things I blame her for. She did it because she has prejudice on side of Sheng Kingdom. In the end, one can say it led to events that were predestined anyway. But yeah.
I watched the episodes. Don't see the big deal to be angry at LSS.
She TOLD him her reason. She said, she needs to cultivate heartless way. If she hadn't and kept pretending not to know him, I could see that she is harsh. But she lets him know exactly why she's taking this option.
Before everything was focused on preventing the the catastrophe that would have happened present-time. That has not happened. So they have time to figure out and fight for another day.
But in other dramas they often mention it.

Thank you.
I think his name is Jing Mie

But the YXW/LSS timeline makes no sense?
