Gun-Young irritates me! Also, why is a prosecutor doing police work? Isn't he supposed to be a lawyer, working at an office? 😂
Additionally, this should be tagged as "Villain Male Lead". Gi-Tae is NOT an anti-hero lol, he's a villain protagonist with (some) sympathetic traits.
An anti-hero - a person who does bad things, but for a good reason or turns out to be a good person. Usually morally grey. Prosecutor Jang is an anti-hero.
A villain protagonist - the protagonist is the villain. They do bad things for bad reasons, even if they have some redeeming qualities. Baek Gi-Tae is a villain protagonist, period.
An anti-villain - a person who does good things, but for a bad reason. They ARE the villain, but with morals.
Bad guys can be the protagonists, and good guys can be the antagonists, and vice versa (which is what 99% of k-drama fans are used to. No wonder why people didn't like this drama lol)
I liked Queens House but the storyline about what happened to her son really left me with a bad feeling the whole…
Right, but sometimes the deaths don't even end up meaning anything (especially if the FL's revenge is lousy or incomplete!) Like... Man In A Veil, for example... 🙄
Me too! I have hope for this one... older protagonist, twin FLs, and revenge? Hell yeah!
The SML and SFL seem to be a thing, so I doubt that Jin-Ju/Chloe is the niece... because then it'd be incest, which is a big no-no. But we'll see! These makjangs love their birth secrets 😂
Sehun and Yc belonged in the looney bin … Jung won got her happy ending but took 2 years… she eat prayed whatever…
Yes, exactly! I felt like she (the writer) couldn't figure out how to wrap it up, so she was like, "Here, damn!" 😭
It is hard! It's why I had to wrap up Wife Returns... even though I was more than halfway through with it. As for that second part... not really 😂 most daily dramas revolve around revenge & greed, but not ALL of them. There are a lot more family-based comedy dramas than makjang/revenge ones. Makjang dailies became more of a thing after Temptation of Wife came on! But they were definitely still around (like Scary Girl, Forgiveness, Heart of Destiny, etc.) I personally prefer makjang dailies over the family/comedy ones!
Also true! But usually they live up to the hype, other times, not so much lol

Okay, in retrospect I may have been a bit too harsh. I'll bump my rating up to an 8. But no more than that! 😂 The ending was a letdown. Eat Pray Love is what you mean? Lol
Right??? We never even got to see YC's bio father either! So many plot threads just dropped... like okay then... 💀
Actually, they do release BGMs after dramas are over or while they're airing, I found several BGMs of older daily dramas recently, and they were listed a year or during the year they were airing! I think I rarely rewatch dramas in general unless I dropped them or put them on hold in the past. Like I rewatched Secrets and Lies because I dropped it back in 2018, 7 years later I ended up loving it! For daily dramas I loved, I rewatch arcs, a few episodes, or some clips and that's it lol
I ammm! You got me there, it looks like it's gonna be good... but my expectations are a littleee low. 👀
