After re-watching, I have the following thoughts/questions:1. Sang-ah was probably a drug addict β photos, emphasis…
I thought so π€ All About Eve is a k-drama I've been planning to watch for years now. Kim So-Yeon (one of my faves) stars in it. As old as it is, the plot sounds good.
I've never watched the Hollywood movie- heard a lot about it, though.
I don't see it as a political thriller - those usually have winners and losers. This one is pure psychological…
It's partially a political drama. Politics is one of the main sub-genres (since Tae-Seop wants to become the next Assemblyman.) It's a big part of the main plot and I wouldn't ignore that lol
Good watch to me. If you're into mysteries, political dramas, and noir thrillers with a more mature vibe (and not focused on romance), this might be perfect for you.

All About Eve was no way a recent k-drama, lol, but I don't know... I'm getting the vibes that Jung-Won seems to be in love with Sang-Ah, her competing with Sang-Ah seems too... basic? Don't know if that makes sense. This drama's been subverting quite a few cliches so it'd be refreshing to see something else.
I hope it's Sang-Ah that stabbed Kwang-Jae. Based on the promotions I've seen, there's gonna be some massive twists with her character. A rose with thorns? A woman desperate to get back on top and stay on top? The ending that was hinted at with Ju Ji-Hoon and Ha Ji-Won? She's giving me villainess/femme fatale vibes...
Not every k-drama female character is going to be an angel, or, if I may put it bluntly, idiots that act like…
Nah I touch plenty of grass (well, concrete since I live in a city.) At least I don't spend all my time on some random website fighting with people and being negative 24/7 π
All you have to do is say "I only like one-dimensional female characters" and go lmfaoooo
