Have you watched Chinese dramas from around 2015 and before? I've noticed they usually had more masculine-looking actors, either with bigger bodies or stronger facial features or even both, compared to many male actors nowadays. I wonder what has changed, why people seem to prefer the "skinny pretty boy" look more.
I like both types as long as the actor's appearance fits his role but I do have a slight preference for manlier-looking actors.
The character posters make me really excited for the sequel! I'm glad most of the original cast have returned. It simply wouldn't be the same without these iconic actors.

I can't be completely certain, though, because I haven't finished most of them yet and you probably know or have heard that some FLs start out smart and strong but are dumbed down for whatever reasons towards the end end of the story. I don't understand the point of your comment? It seems you're saying that people justify FL's behaviour and hate ML but that's not my experience.
Everywhere I go, either here on kisskh or Reddit, most viewers actually seem to be supporting TTJ and criticizing LSS's actions. They have a lot of sympathy for TTJ but don't like how LSS treats him, neither at the beginning of the drama nor now. Granted, some people may call him a psychopath and enjoy scenes where he spits blood etc. but they definitely mean it in a loving way and because they enjoy his acting skills being shown in full range 😄
