Lovely Runner (kdrama) is the only one that rivals my love for Story of Kunning Palace!
Let me guess, he's the one who caused her accident. When he sees her as his fan with the headband and the candies, he feels so bad he jumps off the balcony.

Yes, I'm a big Kim Won Hae fan. Often his performances are just flat out knock it out of the park amazing. So that right there has me interested. That chick that plays FL's mom, she's pretty good too. So I'm expecting some awesomeness already. I just started episode 4, she misses ML's confession and says yes to dating the 2ML, and then wakes up back in the freezing water again, and I'm like (sighhhh) whaaaat the fuck is this nonsense, are they gonna keep jerking me back and forth between timelines, gahhhh.

I just started this, on ep 2, and so far it's FL shamelessly chasing after ML, and I can't stand it. I mean the show is starting off great, don't get me wrong. I just wonder how long I have to endure watching FL throw herself at ML?
ok ok. I think it made sense after reading it slow a few times. now I feel dumb haha.
omg your profile gif.... Did you ever watch that c-drama My Fated Boy? Because He Yu is an incredible onscreen kisser, and the last kiss in that drama is weewwww (fans self)! Hard to tell, but I'm pretty sure it was a french kiss.
lol a lot is sooo retro/outdated about this drama, music, cinematography, wardrobe..but that's part of its charm…
omggggg i just laughed so hard..... no I saw the regular version. This is funny though. Actually the parts where they play the vintage music were the parts I liked the music on, all that was fine to me. Oh lord this instrumental is funny though. tysm <3 that was my first actual laugh of the day today.
Lost You Forever IS good, but I had to drop it because I fell like a ton of bricks for the vampy white-haired bloodsucker 3ML, even when I knew going in that he wouldn't get the FL in the end. I told myself not to get too attached to him, but it happened anyway so I bailed partway through to save myself the torture.
If I hadn't fallen for the vampy 3ML, I would have liked it a LOT more. It was well-made and the cast was great.
watch "A journey to love" or "Love Between Fairy and Devil." Both are just as good.
idk how you can find AJTL comparable, when the ML in it is playing a semi-comedic role opposite an assassin FL who he has very little chemistry with and who spends the entire show turning him into a simp, in an action-based swashbuckler story where literally everybody ends up dead and there's no HE.
imo, AJTL was so awful I wished I hadn't watched it at all, I feel like I wasted all that time for nothing.

i just went to that website and checked out ep 8 and I can't find the goofy business of which you speak, any idea what the timestamp is on it? It looks like I watched a normal version.
Chemistry between ML and FL better than average, but not spectacular. They are both great actors though, and their acting together was quite decent.
Most of the rest of the drama was "meh", and the actual plotline itself is what sucked the most to me. First half awesome romance, second half torture. I didn't know I was signing up to watch a dozen episodes of "Love is pain" where the ML and FL get basically no screentime together, and they suffer terrible injustices over and over again.
7.5.... worth a watch for Luo Zheng being super hot, but not worth a re-watch.

That was the most egregious example, yes. But it was in other places here or there. It got me distracted the whole way through, thinking "what is wrong with the music dept of this show?!" And by the time it was a little more than halfway finished, I finally got to the point where I would watch it on mute whenever music of any kind came on, so that I could watch it as the director intended. It greatly improved my experience, but it was still annoying for me to keep muting and unmuting like "is the music over yet?"

Well, I've seen 100 asian dramas that aired in 2015 or earlier, and none of the other ones had quite this same problem ;P It's not that the music is old, it's that the music's mood will often not match the mood of what's actually going on in the show (mainly the action scenes).
I love romance dramas, and I'm completely romance-focused, and I thought this was the best romance literally ever…
well yes, obvs for me. I guess i should type IMO before everything I write.
It's just that you said "also people who loves romantic dramas this isnt for you. ", and for me, I do love romantic dramas, and this was for me. That's all I'm saying.
Decent kiss scenes, although ML is carrying their chemistry and their scenes together. FL is not bad, just not great. Lots of mildly lol moments scattered throughout the drama, and that was fun. Plot was pretty good too, the story and pacing were just right for a 30-min-per-ep drama. FL's wardrobe is totally hopeless and stupid.
I thought it was a "not-bad" one-time watch, so I gave it a 7.

Who this drama isn't for, is people who can't do delayed gratification.

english lit = like me not understanding meaning of some of your sentences at first, but the clarification made it all make sense.
