Honestly this whole COVID arc I could have done without.... I would have preferred to have the confusion cleared up or even the storylines of the side characters more flushed out.
I was thinking maybe it will lead to the bonding RXZ and RTZ so desperately needs but even that didn't happen....
I wonder the ENG translation should have been 'what was LL's reaction' instead of 'feeling'? I am still hoping…
Yes true. But then RXZ brushed it off by teasing WSD about his past feelings for his wife.
His lies have hurt his family so much and It just sucks to see them not even taking any of that seriously when they were joking around. I get that he lied to cover up something, but just watching the last episode you can see how devastated LL is. She didn't deserve that, I'm not sure I could forgive a man who does that, I'm not sure what will make the lie 'justified'. I guess we will see, it's driving me crazy too!
Okay but on a side note, why is Luo Yi Zhou not signed on to any other dramas or anything yet?
Is he mainly an idol? His acting is so good, and I've been watching his dancing and singing too. He's amazing. I'm a bit sad there is no online videos of him and Lusi doing any dance routines or they didn't have a song together :(
What just happened in ep. 36? Apart from my heart breaking for TT and TZ, there were loads of pointless discussions…
Yes I was just sitting there in disbelief over how RXZ and the grandpa is just acting as if everything is fine, people should just move on as if infidelity is nothing. Not even infidelity, the utter lack of care RXZ is showing towards his wife and her feelings are nothing.
The scene of WSD and RXZ joking around and not even appreciating ANY OF THE WOMEN in this drama was unbelievable.
And then they moved on from what LQ did as if nothing has happened. The only people they punished is TT and the Ren family....
I felt so bad for LL, TT and RTZ this episode as well as the grandma for having to watch her daughter turn into a shell of herself.
A question for those of us speculating on the parentage of TT:
Some of us (including myself) were thinking that WSD might be TT's dad. And then I realized based on his personality it probably wouldn't make sense for him to not care for TT through her life if he knew she was his daughter. Even if we were to say he found out later, he gave her over to RXZ and let her fully be mentored by him, and I feel like if he knew she was his daughter he would have made more of an effort to get closer to her?
He mentored LQ because he saw his younger self in him. But TT he largely stayed away from until recently? Now I feel even more confused about who TT could be.
What a mess indeed... I am disappointed in the script writing. I realize it was spur of the moment decision for…
Maybe the script writing took 7 years because the author spent all that time thinking of devastating plot twists and then finding ways to dig characters out of the holes lol
I absolutely agree he could have and should have deescalated that situation differently. At his maturity pursuing this path doesn't make sense. Yes even after such a lie is cleared up in the drama they can try to brush it off as if everything is okay, but this kind of lie fundamentally messes with people's psyche's. Especially two impressionable young people like RTZ and TT. Very irresponsible.
and YES!!! RTZ is the best. He is such an amazing partner, and the way he loves TT is how everyone deserves to be loved. I can't get over how sweet they are, and I was also really admiring how real their relationship and interactions feel. They warm my heart even more than other over the top scenes from 'romance' dramas.

WSD: "I know. What about LL's Feelings?"
RXZ:🤷🏻🥴🤪🤡
Me watching:🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤮. In disbelief over how insensitive they are.
She can stand on her own merits, intelligence and skill.

I just don't want RTZ and TT to be related 😭😭😭
