That's really sweet of you to say, but I don't know if you should do that, for three reasons: (1) after Gelboys is done, I might take a break from BLs in general, unless something really good comes along; (2) in the light of the comments below my review of Secret Relationship(s) & the private messages I received after that and the review of Impression of Youth, I might need a break from writing reviews too; and (3) I am often very wrong about things, and, at any rate, don't review things I really like, so, caveat lector!
Also, FreshKicks quit this show earlier than you, so, I'm afraid you'll have to trawl through YouTube & TikTok to find a cut of those scenes alone! :)

When I say I "watched" it, it is in the sense of skipping half the scenes, fast-forwarding others, slowing down only for the aaaaaaaabs, and mining it for all its comic worth. Et voilà!
I don't think he wants to be in a relationship with Da On, he wants Da On close and in his life tho. Relationship…
That makes no sense to me. If he just wants Da On as a friend, an intimate friend, and no more, I don't understand the point of that "contract", nor his desire to forbid Da On all other intimate relationships. He could just be a kind, supportive friend, even if that side of his personality is mere dissembly. I agree that he doesn't think like a normal person, but if he didn't have more than a platonic interest, none of his actions make sense -- to the extent that they make sense at all.
I don't want to detract from your enjoyment of the show at all, by the way. If I do, forgive me. But to me, this just says that the person who wrote this show -- even as a piece of light fictional entertainment -- does not really know that many human beings in life. 🙃
Also, why is Da On given no agency in this show? Why is he such a hothouse flower, who bends to the whim of everyone else? Am I the only one being driven a bit insane by all of this?
I really enjoyed the first couple of episodes, though it was Grand Trope Central, but now, I'm getting a bit fed up.
JaeMin is supposed to be this manipulative mastermind, who was devious enough to come up with that meaningless "contract" (as if telling Da On the truth wouldn't have solved it 11 years earlier), yet, for 11 years, he stood next to Da On, and did nothing? 11 years? You waste a decade of your life on a relationship that is yet to be, that you desperately want, for which you will go to any sociopathic lengths, and yet, you sacrifice the best years of your life by being celibate and warding him off?
I'm only a quarter of the way through the episode, but after seeing that scrape on Da On's skin during his confrontation with Su Hyeon, I'm guessing there will be a wound-tending scene with an orange q-tip?

You know... I quite enjoyed TMS 1, but really hated TMS 2. Did you like it? I haven't seen Taekwondo: should I give it a go? I didn't, because it's from the same hands as TMS 2, so, I was afraid to touch it. But a few people I respect did like it.

Lol. I could not agree more, my friend. I gave up on Triage because it really tested my patience. Did you see Spare Me Your Mercy? I saw what it was about, and knew with what subtlety and sensitivity it would be handled. I didn't even watch the first episode.
