Ah... we must be fellow sojourners then, for I too see the summer behind me. But then, I've always preferred the colours of autumn and the snowfalls of winter. Only, I should keep my mouth shut, because, if you say "winter is coming" at the wrong time, people think you're a character from Game of Thrones...

It wasn't just you. The actors did not fit their job description. I have no idea what emotions they were feeling or trying to portray most of the time, except when Xu Lu Xi "kissed" Ye Bing Chen. There, I'm sure Wish Shu was channeling the girl from The Ring...

We are cosmically and comically replying to each other at roughly the same moment, but across different shows!

You were generous with your rating. I started out with a 5, to be neutral, went down to 4, now it's 2. I know I'm going to get a big backlash for it. But I don't want anyone to come away with the Impression (geddit?) that Impression of Youth is worth watching.

My verdict on the show: "Avoid it. Avoid it like radioactive waste."

"The ridiculous Pony saves the day." I don't even know if Pony is just the Thai nickname of a character or an actual pony -- at this point, I wouldn't put it past a Thai BL -- either way, it *almost* makes me want to watch it. But I won't. After Impression of Youth, I'll lose the will to live.

"The experience of watching this show is something akin to ordering a small package on Amazon. You order a simple toothbrush online, and are shocked to find, the next day, a huge cardboard box sitting at your doorstep, only to realise, when you open it, that there are 7 smaller boxes inside, each stuffed with shredded paper and bubblewrap. By the time you get to the final box, you forget what you ordered, what has arrived, and what you were looking for. You just know there is a huge mess to clean up, and that a lot of trees have given up their lives for it."

Please point to where I said she can't rain on my parade -- or for that matter, that you can't. By all means, rain away. Inundate my reviews. After all, it's an open forum, and l have an umbrella!

And my reviews aren't negative: they are meant for people with a sense of humour, and for people who don't take BLs, or themselves, too seriously. I do recognise, however, that some people can't tell the difference.

Really? Kiseki, the alternate cut of Unknown, and even the BL cut of Love Is Science, were all way spicier for me.

I don't think ChianBua or Fou4ModBaabin will happen though. It would be such a betrayal of the characters and their arcs, not to mention cringeworthy, given the lack of chemistry in this arrangement. If they do that, we should organise a flight to Bangkok and protest!
