Well it ain't great but it is a little interesting. The rating here is a bit overrated, I won't mark it over 8. A drama that you would like to watch till the end but won't really feel much attachment.

Oh and the chemistry between the leads is quite abysmal. So the romance factor is lacklustre.

Agreed, I do think she has just become skin and bones now. It is sometimes really hard to watch her that way. It was very apparent in her recent modern day dramas.

It isn't boring nor is it interesting. Romance is just ok, the passion forgetful. The first few episodes were kinda hard to digest due to the cheating element and the lead couples actions made it worse.

Unfortunately, the secondary couples don't get much screen time, I found them much more interesting.

Though its a good drama, I just hope that Korea isn't training such reckless rookie cops that take law in their hands as if they have the right to and face no consequences.

The romances were good and overall immersion was ok, it wasn't addicting but I did binge it all.

It is an ok romance drama, nothing sensational or addicting that would force me to watch every episode. And yes I would say that the FL character is a bit overdone with cuteness and the drama promotes the cliche idealistic world view. The plot armour is also extremely strong for both leads.

Also you'll need some suspension of reality to enjoy this drama as most scenarios are unrealistic.

There is also a strong depiction of workplace politics and youth exploitation. I would never stick with such a toxic work environment with frequent unpaid overtime for bare minimum compensation.

It was boring like hell. I have never given so many chances to a boring drama. My god was it boring!

It was overall a good drama but it fell through in the last third.

The BFF plot was great and the journey was interesting.

Romance wise, I liked Shen Yi Yi in the first part, then Guan Yue's character in the second. The third was extremely rushed. All due to this cliche of all characters must be paired in the end. Why ruin such a good show!!

I didn't like Shen Yi Yi's attitude towards relationships, I can understand her as I am insecure in the same way. Still I see this actress in similar plot-lines.

I think WeTV cuz I saw a rip with their subs for all episodes.

My experience with CDrama has been disastrous for anything less than 8.5. Most of them start great but end frustratingly. All the greatness rolling to an undesired outcome.

I would only risk EDramas or KDramas with 8+ rating.

Don't remember the exact episode but their courtship occurs much faster than usual and yes there are some serious misunderstandings in the last arc. Though they are reasonable and all due to the young FL's inexperience about what is important in a relationship.

Your response clearly tells me that you don't know fiction. I understand where you are coming from and its good someone says the realistic truth to keep people in their bounds. Just keep in mind that there is a place for such and this show is for adults only, who already know what you intend to convey.

You will be angry and frustrated just like this, if you start finding reality in fiction.

I found this drama a mixed bag. Love the first arc but then it just goes downhill especially the mortal arc. If they didn't include such a strong unrequited romance with the SML and then forced vilification of the same, I would have loved it more but at the end I just didn't like the leads together. It just turned cliche and predictable,

Totally agree! I just wasted 9 hours of my life on it but I wasn't as prudent so I disengaged and saved myself only from the last 20.

Oh my god, it is the most boring Chinese series I have ever watched! It made me doze off so many times in the chair.
It is a mockery in comparison to Eternal Love. There I loved these leads but this one is all over the place.
I forced myself through the hella boring fox arc, then the pointless mortal arc and when I was finally getting somewhat interested, the doozy dream arc finally broke the camel's back.

I agree with you. I was sleepy bored in the first half and then same now in that aranya dream. It is literally all over the place, the romance is unsatisfying overall as there are strong seconds and then boring hours.

It was a good ride, binged it in a single day.

I am biased against YM so I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have with someone else leading the show. Also there were many inconsistencies in the drama's first half, especially personalities not matching with people of tens of thousands years of experience. Well actually that didn't change much throughout. Reckless remained reckless and stupid evil remained stupid evil. Simply speaking there was no proportional character growth.

Yes, there is no competent evil character, it has the standard fare 1D demonic evil character that you find in thousands of Chinese novels. This one too blabbers and shouts the same way. Just that this one takes more than one hit and drags itself till the end of the series.

The main focus of this drama is the romance and schemes which are done very well. In fact the drama completely focuses on the main characters, all else be damned. The actual world building is mixed, on one hand it describes the overall things well but then there is this extreme lack of detail about the Gods, their powers and related martial aspects. The god realm is extremely lacking in details; the settings somehow start to feel like a low budget drama.

A solid 8.5/10 and worth at least one watch.
