honestly no need to trash LND to praise this...this drama is indeed good I'm loving it and personally I'm loving…
I'm not creating anything, you're reacting to it. Opinions go both ways. You love it and i don't but somehow only you should express it and not me ? Makes no sense.
No they are not, both are tagged and marketed as RomCom so it's only fair to compare if one wants to. No harm…
I would say find out yourself. I personally dislike Childhood friends to lovers trope so i didn't enjoy Love Next Door and likes of Welcome to Samdal-ri but many people love this trope. Keeping that in mind No Gain No Love is more to my liking, it has better directing, better comedy, better main leads for me.
Why are people comparing it with love next door both are two completely dramas with different genres
No they are not, both are tagged and marketed as RomCom so it's only fair to compare if one wants to. No harm done if one finds one better than the other and expresses it.
i have already replied to you on another comment, but completely agree! it seems like you cannot criticise LND,…
Lol i couldn't comment it on LND page without getting bombarded so i thought it would be better to talk about it here to make people who watch this show see the contrast in what ways this is better than LND. To me it feels like sometimes some k-drama fans are simply obsessed with their fav actors so they start manifesting those feelings for the drama too without actually seeing the various aspects of the show. I watched LND for Jung So Min but it is poor to average in multiple departments.
... it's feeling stale -- i don't know the storyline feels overdone at this point-- i'm still watching tho...…
Indeed. The directing is dull and boring makes it look like a melodrama while the script is trying to make it look like a RomCom. Humor is mostly misses. Besides this the childhood friends lover is one of the least interesting tropes for a RomCom imo because when two leads already know each other for long it takes away a lot of excitement and situational comedy that comes from first encounters. Welcome to Samdal-ri, Fight For My Way you name it all mediocre shows.
love both of the leads, but idk why this drama feels like salad?? like there's no flavor...yet, i can't really…
Because the directing is dull and boring and makes it look like a melodrama while the script is trying hard to make it look like a RomCom. The 2 aspects are out of sync. Besides this for me the childhood friends to lovers is one of the least interesting tropes in a RomCom. Welcome To Samadal-ri, Fight For My Way all mediocre at best dramas imo.
There's something forced and awkward about this drama. The writing and storyline are off, the acting is off, the…
Childhood friends lovers trope is one of the worst, the directing is weak and dull makes it look like a melodrama while the script tries it to look like RomCom. The humor is off, nothing in in sync.
Just 10 mins in and it was already better than boring ass Love Next Door. This actually feels like a RomCom, the directing style was just how RomComs should be unlike Love Next Door which feels more like a melodrama from its directing and visuals despite being tagged as RomCom.
The ML and FL both had 10x better introductions and were immediately gripping than their counterparts in LND. But then again Shin Min Ah is on another level as a star and actress so i always expected this to be the better show. Even the chemistry between the two leads just from 2 episodes seemed to me more fun compared to likes of LND and Welcome to Samdal-ri both of which have childhood friends to lovers trope which i find extremely uninteresting because when 2 leads already know each other for a long time it takes away a lot of excitement and situational comedy that comes from first encounters.
Hope this show stays good and gets even half the hype and love that LND is getting.
Watching this for Jung In Sun. I find her funny in all of her dramas. Not bad so far but i want it to improve its comedy, Jung In Sun alone is carrying it hard. Also the OST in this show is surprisingly really good, it's very rare i notice good OSTs in a k-drama.
