Honestly, when you watch it when it's airing it's "fun" coz you can laugh about it with others. But watching it later alone... will lose the appeal lol

I watched and I kept asking "but how? Why is no one reacting? What is going on?" 🤣

subplots surrounding the guards < this was one of the biggest disappointment. This subplot hit the dead end, when it was one of the more interesting subject to discuss. I was extremely curious how they recruit them, what they get from being guards. If they pick people who are willing to do anything for money, how the decide who gets the invitation to the game, and who to be the guard. There are so many things that could have been explored here. I would much rather them focus on this plot line, and not address the "big bad wolf" and the reason for the games in the first place.

I actually enjoyed the back stories a lot. Without it I would most likely get bored since I would be just waiting for everyone to die. That was one of the reasons I usually don't quite enjoy death game dramas - just the games are not enough content for a show, but rather a movie. But that's the personal preference type of deal. I see quite a lot of people have the same compliant as you do :)

Honestly, the set design and the usage of the children's game was such a brilliant idea, because it made the gruesome reality of the game that much more drastic.

While I get the message they wanted to give with the twist at the end, I could not stop thinking: "yeah I truly don't want to hear how sad rich people are coz they have no joy in their lives coz of the money they have". The way it was constructed to present it just did not sit well with me and I did not buy it.

it was a heavy show. apparently the webtoon is even more heavy, tho I can't confirm that since I did not read it.

Not once did I say they don't have the right to reply. I just pointed out how they claim to care about the proper way of stating opinions enough to point it out in XingBack's comment, but not in any other comment made in that comment section. So do they really care about the way XingBack said what she said, or is it about what she said. I'm fine with them disagreeing with XingBack, but lets not pretend it's the lack of "in my opinion" that made them make the reply.

I never said XingBack was either right nor wrong, did not bring into discussion her post on feeds. It had nothing to do with my reply to Meg at all.

As you could clearly see, I did not reply yo anyone else but that one user. The focus was on the fact they suggested XingBack should have added "in my opinion" as a way of differentiating opinions from facts. It's hypocritical to only point that issue out in a negative comment, while not correcting all the people who write their positive opinions "like facts".

the "why did you bother with this comment?" was suppose to ask why out of all comments stating opinions like facts, they decided to ONLY reply to this one. As in, why bother with this one, and not any other comment.

I don't see you correcting positive opinions with "Matter of opinion rather than the universal truth", so why did you bother with this comment?

About the 5th, you are right. It does follow more of the "older" style, not only in the production value, but also the writing.

the stargazing setting on the water < for sure beautiful! the setting there left nothing to desire tbh. It just looked beautiful.

As for Sun's backstory it would made a good psychological thriller coz they basically brainwashed a child into sacrificing his life for another person and being a blood bank 🤣

I was so sure Pitch would be an asshole at the beginning, and I'm so glad I was proven wrong. Easily my favourite character from the whole show.

Truth to be told... I did not really like either Sun nor Sky. One was just entitled ass, the other was brainwash child... and since none of these had by the end any depth I was just not amused... :(

Fiat was blackmailed into sleeping with King. If he said no, King would tell everyone one of their team members took drugs and they would be (I assume) eliminated, and would not be able to take part in finals. Fiat did not want to sleep with him, and he did it only because he was blackmailed into it.
