Both leads are almost 30 :| i mean they're good actors i guess and i really like teacyeon but wouldn't…
I don't mind older actor playing younger characters and younger actors playing older characters as long as they actually look the age they are suppose to look. Ye Ji can pass as 17 with the styling they did in drama, about Taec Yeon... I am not that sure.

It's so good. Finally something new and fresh in terms of plot. I was slightly bored lately with all crime or political corruption series.

Sorry chingu but I think we are facing a big flop. The individual cases appear from nowhere. You have no time…
well there is a point here, coz they don't take just random cases of theft and stuff like that. The are dealing with serial killers. It's ridiculous that they have so many cases in the close proximity of their work place all the time.

they are picking different cases not in the same order as they happened in original series. Also, except from Lee Han and Na Na Hwang other characters don't really resemble the original characters that much. The problem with Korean ver. is that it all happens in one city or in a close proximity to their 'base' which makes it unrealistic. The idea that there is so many active serial killers in such a small area is, well... laughable. In the original series the team traveled across US. sometimes they found out about case, sometimes they were asked to assist from local police department. For them the cases just 'showing up' made sense since they were often asked to assist.

I'm reading some comments and there is quite a few people comparing this drama to goblin saying this one is perfection and goblin was shit. But I would like to know how people are able to compare 2 completely different dramas from different genres in the 1st place? What do people compare here?

oh i think i get what people are trying to say here, some people find it hard to connect to certain character,…
I am not saying there should be less characters, coz that would be ridiculous. I'm just comparing the kr version and us ver and how they handle the number of people in team in the overall plot. While in us ver all characters were equally important and the focus changed from one to another during episodes, in kr version we can clearly see Hyun Joon, Sun Woo and Ki Hyung as the center of the plot and the focus of the show. In 3rd episode they had amazing opportunity to at least slightly develop Min Young characters but they cut the train hostage case short and focused on Hyun Joon instead.
I enjoy the drama for sure, but only if I don't think of it as kr ver of Criminal Minds. The majority of characters are off and nothing like the us ver. You can see they tried to make them similar but they clearly did not understand their source material.

That's the thing I don't quite like about this drama, there are truly only 3 main characters: Hyun Joon, Sun Woo, Ki Hyung. The others just fit the space to create the team. I don't blame tvN for focusing on those 3 since it's impossible to have 6 main characters in 20 eps drama, you don't have time to tell the full story of them all. That said, it's exactly what I miss here, that was in the original ver: all the members on the team were main/leads and we got to know them all pretty well. It was team driven not character driven show.

It's an adaptation. They are pressured to stick to the original plot. The writers cannot write the story…
But for now there isn't really anything that does not fit in the society in the plot (for the past 3 eps) So I don't see the problem here.

Before I start watching this... can any who has watched this so far comment on whether or not this seems episodic?…
For now they take one case per episode or 2 episodes BUT in 3rd one there are some hints that except from those random cases there will be one going on throughout all 20 episodes involving Hyun Joon and Sun Woo

I see comments here and on other websites stating they would like to see some romance between Kim Hyun Joon and Ha Sun Woo but I feel like IF there will be any romance at all it will most likely be between Min Young and Lee Han. I don't think they want the drama to focus on romance, but at the same time if they would lik to fit it somehow they would give it to the 2nd lead characters. Just like they did with Mrs. Cop.

How much creative freedom they have depends on what kind of deal they made with original production team of US ver. Getting the rights to make remake/adaptation does not always mean you can do anything you want, tweak the sorce material the way you want tho...

I'm sorry but the 1st case (from the past) does not make any sense. They framed him for dementia right? So…
Yeah, I get that. Stuff like that happen in all the dramas, they tend to use hyperbole quite a lot in dramas to makes things more... dramatic? hahaha

Did they say when he was diagnosed? Coz He was sending money during whole of his career. Unless he was diagnosed with dementia day one, this does not make any sense.
The physical evidence (aka sent money) is enough to get warrant. IF all the people involved in corruption want to claim he did that on his own without any reason coz of dementia, they can do it during the investigation. It's illogical they closed the case just coz of that one thing. They have diagnosis of his dementia, the prosecutor should get the warrant for his medical records right away, and officially question his doctor who made the diagnosis. Also did the man not have any family? Anyone who can prove he had dementi and was seeing doctor. They close the cased based on one piece of paper without even checking if it's true. What about the prescribed drugs you take for dementia? Any evidence he bought one, that he even got prescriptions from doctor. IT would b quite easy to prove he was not ill if they actually even tried. Also his death was the most sloppy fake suicide scene ever. If you want to kill yourself you swallow all the pills not scatter them around the car. There aren't many plot holes here just because it;s only 4 (2) eps out so far. There most likely will be more. I don't want it to sound like I don't enjoy the drama, coz I do to some extend. But that does not mean I can be critical over it.

Even tho I said it myself after 1st ep that the probation guys would be a better suspect and criminal than Hyung Tae,now that he really is I'm kind of disappointed that.. it's kind of obvious too. If I was able to figure it out in 1st ep, then it was way too easy and in your face in the 1st place.
But still I think overall the drama is good, as long as you don;t think of it as kr Criminal Minds. Coz it's literally nothing alike.

I'm sorry but the 1st case (from the past) does not make any sense. They framed him for dementia right? So the interview could not be used as an evidence, but the bank statements are still valid evidence that is indisputable. I only saw first and second ep, so I don't know if they will explain it later, but for now I'll call it bullshit.
