10 episodes in but I really don't feel the driving force and eagerness to complete this drama. That torture scene…
How do you know the scenes in that drama are realistic when it hasn’t even aired yet? From the trailers? Hahaha, come on. It wasn’t a fair comparison to begin with. But I guess people like you are just going to defend yourselves by saying, "everyone’s entitled to their own opinion," like that’s something new 💁🏼♀️
This is maybe something I stupidly missed in the last few episodes, but didn’t Jiang Ci’s master say that…
A typical annoying and headstrong character with tunnel vision. She only believed what she wanted to believe. She hid all those years and never once rethought what happened, nor did she care about other people’s suffering. I’m not holding out much hope for her, but maybe she’ll realize the world isn’t just black and white in the upcoming episode when she’s on the verge of death. 😂

Yes, you’re right. She was firm in her beliefs, which is why she couldn’t, or maybe wouldn’t, reconsider what Wei Zhao said. If believing him was too much for her, she could at least have acknowledged what was happening right in front of her.
I've just finished Ep29 yesterday and I have to get my thoughts out. When I see content about the drama on other…
This is maybe something I stupidly missed in the last few episodes, but didn’t Jiang Ci’s master say that Xiao Haitian helped them hide in Yueluo? So where’s the logic in blaming Xiao Haitian when things went south for her sister and the prince? (Not to mention that Wei Zhao tried to explain it to them, but they didn’t bother to listen.) It seems like all these years, the master has been living on baseless accusations and just needed someone else to blame for her misery. 🙃
I haven’t watched Winter Begonia, but I have to say this drama started off pretty strong. I wasn’t really familiar with republican dramas, but the story hooked me right from the start. And up until the latest episode, it’s just gotten better and better.
JC to PY: "Lord Pei, you are blessed with abundance, there is no need to seek more. Let nature take its course." JC to WZ: "Commander Wei and I met each other through Dou Grass and then this Allamanda. It's an interesting fate. Although this flower is beautiful and fragrant, it's also poisonous and easily withers. Beautiful things are often like this."
Love their poem and flower games fr 😭 But these two will probably pretend they don't understand what she said lol cause please take the damn hint (eyeing PY tbh)
It honestly had me rolling my eyes. He probably acted that way because he thought she 'idolized' him, which was a bit too narcissistic for me. It’s like he only wanted her because he saw her as his admirer 🙃
Pei Yan is getting more and more ridiculous. I’ve been trying not to harbor any hatred, convincing myself that he’s just unsure how to handle his 'obsession' with Jiang Ci, but asking the Emperor to grant him a marriage with her? That’s hitting a new low 🙃
Definitely better to be with Wuxia (and yes, of course, not to turn a blind eye to what was done to Jiang Ci in the past), but then he's improving, trying to be better for her 💁🏼♀️
I'm impressed with Dai Yue Qing's acting in the drama. She did a great job as a villian who's also a xxx. I was…
She was also in another on-going drama, as the 2nd ML’s mother, too bad they dubbed her voice in that drama. Her real voice and her facial expression really suit this kind of character 😂
After watching the trailer multiple times, I have come to the conclusion that I can find no fault in it. lol.…
Agree though. The director might have a peculiar style with camera angles, but overall, his dramas are doing great. Honestly, it shouldn’t even be a concern as long as the story is solid and the actors know what they’re doing (and in this case, the main leads definitely won’t disappoint) 🥳

Not even five minutes into episode 29 and those words hit my nerves in all the wrong ways 😭
