You’re right. I didn’t think they’d clear him of suspicion so easily after the train ride from Shanghai to Beijing. But then again, if they caught him that fast, the story would’ve ended early, and it seems like he’s meant to be the main culprit until the end of the drama 😂
If I were a police officer, I’d definitely be fooled by Shrike too. It’s terrifying to think that manipulative scumbags like him actually exist in real life. He’s incredibly skilled and always one step ahead of the police. 🙃
I think for LZY, his responsibility goes beyond just catching the bad guys—he’s also the leader of the team.…
True. I’m really hoping there won’t be too much political agenda involved, especially with the main leads, because that would get tedious. I’d prefer their disagreements to come from LZY being the 'old guard' and LSB being the 'young blood'—same goal, just different approaches.
LZY treats Falcon with more respect than LSB. Though he doesn’t want LSB joining the regular criminal police;…
I think for LZY, his responsibility goes beyond just catching the bad guys—he’s also the leader of the team. Even though LSB made progress during the interrogation, it was still against their rules. So, locking LSB in the room was probably his way of showing the team that they have to follow the rules, no matter what. Personally, I think LZY really likes LSB (you can tell by how he refused to let him join the other team), but he’s trying not to play favorites, at least not in front of his subordinates. Not to mention, he’s also making an effort to kindly explain things to LSB and even brought him his favorite breakfast. Though, LSB wasn’t wrong when he said that no matter what he does, it’ll always be seen as wrong, and whatever LZY says is always right.
It’s pretty complicated between them right now, but maybe this is how their friendship or even brotherhood will grow. Plus, it adds to the character development for both of them.
I went from 'I don’t know what to expect' to 'I’m fully hooked and can’t wait for the next episodes' with this drama. 😂 I haven’t had much luck with Republican dramas so far—I couldn’t even get through the first episode of the last one I tried. But despite being excited to see Zheyuan on screen again, I have to say the story feels solid so far. It’s progressing nicely, and I haven’t felt the need to fast-forward any scenes because every conversation seems equally important.
Also, from what the official account posted on Weibo, it seems like there are a few different criminal cases, which got me wondering if they’re all connected or if each one has its own story. If everything ties together and the police only figure out who the mastermind is at the very end, I just hope it won’t feel too draggy—especially since, at this point, it’s pretty obvious to the audience who the mastermind is. But well, I still have high hopes for this one!
Just a friendly reminder for anyone planning to watch Dark Night and Dawn: please stream it only on iQIYI or CCTV8. If the subscription feels a bit pricey, consider sharing an account with a friend from the same country. I’m not sure how iQIYI works in other regions, but where I am, they offer a discount for first-time subscribers. If you’ve subscribed before, try signing up with a new iQIYI account and different billing details. And if none of that works for you, you can still watch with a free account. 🤞🏻
I don't have official site IQIYI's subscription, this drama doesn't seem to be listed on any other unofficial…
Since this drama is about to air, it's best to watch it on official platforms like iQIYI or CCTV. If you're subscribing to iQIYI for the first time, they often offer a special discount. To save even more, consider sharing an account with a friend from the same country.
Can someone add DNAD to MDL's upcoming drama? i mean the upcoming feature that comes on the MDL homepage? or if…
You can try updating the airing date on DNAD's page, but it might only get approved after the official announcement from iQIYI. For the calendar, I think it will be updated automatically once we set the confirmed airing date on the page.
Does that snake appear often? I’ve been stuck on episode 3 since last week because that animal scared the life…
Thank you so much for this! Even just seeing that animal for a nanosecond still scares me, but this will definitely help. I've made a note of it. Thanks again—you’re a lifesaver! 😭
This isn’t like K-dramas, where the air date is announced like a month ahead. Chinese platforms might only reveal…
All this whining and just... never mind. Just keep in mind, though, that it will take time for illegal sites like that to update the drama after it's released, so be even more patient.
