On My Lovely Liar Jun 12, 2023
So the first teaser is released and I just watched it. I already like Mok Solhee's character. She's not just a liar hunter, but she also kidnapped those men?! I'm excited to watch this drama.

Title Begins Youth
Actually, the webtoon isn't complete. It just gives more background info and shows the timeline when Jin started…
The HYYH storyline that started from BTS' music videos and short films then expanded to webtoon and novels was also still so confusing to most ARMYs who keeps theorizing lol. I guess the whole HYYH that's been going on since 2015 will finally get a conclusion through this drama adaptation. This drama alone is gonna be a wild ride so I'm excited. Hopefully it will turn out well.

Honestly, I don't like that they changed the English title. "Useless Lies" sounds unique while "My Lovely Liar" sounds cheesy and it's also kinda similar to The Liar and His Lover. This drama is a mystery supernatural with investigation theme, so the new title will make people think it's a cringey romcom lol.

Anyways, I'm liking Mok Solhee's character poster. It's oozing with confidence. I hope Kim Sohyun's character will be great in this drama.

Title Begins Youth
I hope it'll be better than the webtoon, because it was so rushed, no characters were developed, relationships…
Actually, the webtoon isn't complete. It just gives more background info and shows the timeline when Jin started the loop. If you want to dig deeper to the HYYH storyline, read the novels "The Notes" 1 & 2. (I haven't read it myself so I don't know much to it aside from the tweets/videos that other ARMYs summarized.)

I think this Youth drama adaptation will finally show the complete story of HYYH from the beginning and what the ending will be. It has a total of 24 episodes, it's long for normal dramas so maybe they will unveil/include a lot of stuffs including each character's arcs.
On Bring the Soul: The Movie Jun 2, 2023
Weird how bitter people who didn't even watch started being here on a BTS page after years of a quiet comment section šŸ˜‚

All viewers of this documentary about BTS is their fans so the ratings are high just like any other documentaries and variety shows in kisskh. Documentary movies are obviously different and more loved since it has no plot like normal movies, it's raw and genuine about real people. Other movies have 8 ratings which is already the standard high ratings in MDL and some considered masterpiece only have 7 ratings since other people don't like it or it's not their taste of genre. Just accept the fact that everyone has different opinions and that's okay, instead of insulting the viewers.

I like their close friendship in the beginning but I was also not liking it since I thought the female lead was insensitive. But the plot twist caught me off guard and the ending made me cry so hard. It's so heartbreaking but I actually love this trope where your lover follows after you. I've watched many tragic romance movies but I prefer this kind of ending since I believe that they will always be together forever. They're more than bestfriends or lovers. They're soulmates.

This was a simple yet thought provoking and heartwarming movie. It would be interesting to make this as a drama with different kinds of people in each episodes where we can see them getting the chance to live their alternate lives. Even the smallest choices can give the biggest outcome in your life.

Title Life Is Beautiful Spoiler
Why did her friend lied to her?
I think because the boy likes the friend but he's dating the female lead (he's using her to get close to her friend). So the friend lied to the female lead so she would break up with the boy without knowing the truth about him.

I actually didn't like that twist. I thought the boy was cute and sincere, and the friend was just jealous so she made a lie to break their relationship.

I think this is the first Korean musical movie that I've watched. The music and performances are diverse and wonderful. I enjoyed it. The plot and characters are lovely and emotional. Their journey touched me. This movie is fun, heartwarming and nostalgic.

Coincidentally, I watched this movie during Mother's Day. I realized it around the end and the movie felt like it was special for me :')

Title House of Hummingbird Spoiler
Why did the brother cry at the dining table after the seongsu bridge collapsed?
I think it's because the sister almost died in the accident but managed to get lucky for being late. He probably felt guilty for being abusive to his sisters and realized their life is precious.
On Choi Ro Woon May 15, 2023
Person Choi Ro Woon
I saw Choi Rowoon in the movie "Please Don’t Save Me" and I really like his cheerful vibes, especially with his cute dimples.

Gotta admit, I skipped many parts because that man keeps on talking, like shut the f*ck up!This was a good psychological…
When a psycho manipulates and controls other people so they could pass their disease on them. Psychos find it more satisfying than murder. It's more than their own child, it's their masterpiece and their final goal is to be killed by them. It's sick and twisted. I was extremely frustrated while watching this drama and I hate how his final words was that he won. No you didn't! You just deserved to be killed. These psychos will never change even if they get punished and imprisoned. It's better for them to disappear immediately before things gets worse and worse.

I'm kinda confused with the last scene, but I hope those kids knew that they are the ones who won and just forget about him.

Holy— Sad Eyes is so gorgeously hot! I love pretty boys and mysterious vibes. I was totally attracted to him.
On The King's Letters May 7, 2023
I first learned Hangul when I was in 8th grade and back then, I had no phone so I just searched it on the internet and copied it on my notebook. I generally find the Korean letters cute and learning it randomly for past time was easy and fun.

It's so interesting to see this movie about the creation of the Korean alphabet. It's good to see a King who cares for all his people no matter the backgrounds and made efforts for them so they could also start to learn and have opportunities. It's incredible that he truly made it last for thousands of years.
On Ayla: The Daughter of War May 7, 2023
It's unbelievable that a little girl survived the war in the soldiers' camp, but it's all possible thanks to the gentlemen who truly cared and loved her like their own. I'm so glad that she was surrounded by good people who raised her despite the chaos during the war. This movie and their story deeply touched me. The fact that Suleyman and Ayla met again after 60 long years in real life is one of the greatest miracles in the world. I'm glad that they stayed alive and never gave up on searching for each other. They showed what soulmates are. Their reunion is so beautiful and emotional. I hope there are many people like them out there, who found their missing loved ones no matter what the race, age, gender or identity. A special bond that knows no boundaries.
On The Admiral: Roaring Currents May 7, 2023
Wow.

I have watched a lot of war movies that broke my heart for its inhumane treatment and tragedy that resulted to the deaths of countless innocent people... But The Admiral: Roaring Currents is different. I was so hooked and getting goosebumps while watching this movie. I was rooting for them so much that I was even raising my head and hands while watching. I know a little about Admiral Yi Sun Shin as a Korean historical figure and for his iconic saying ā€œThose who seek life shall die, but those who seek death shall liveā€ that I still remember after years. Watching this movie made me gained great respect for him. He is truly a brilliant hero and mind. No wonder his people were loyal to him as their leader and even the nature is on his side.

This movie is a masterpiece which is already successful and well known in Korea as it deserves, but it also deserves more recognition around the world for showing one of the greatest battles in history. Even as a foreigner, I felt a huge pride while watching this movie.
