Huang Bei Shuang is such a great character. She's been poisoned with this aphrodisiac but on the brink of death she still would not surrender. And she would rather dip in the water to make it through than have intercourse. She is amazing, Such a strong will.
I hope WZ doesn't loose his cover. The son-in-law of Chief eunuch Tao Zi Zhu is too quick to accuse Jiang Ci. He is colluding with his father in law to take Wei Zhao's job in my opinion.
It is so intense I want to see how it ends but do not want the drama to end.
Oh dear @BaekhyunoonaID As I hope WZ has a happy ending. This is a story about a fight for survival against (basically) genocide, slavery and human trafficking. WZ has gone through so much suffering alredy, that I would be very happy if he manages to have a happy ending with Jiang Ci.
It is true that most of the drama I watched recently are slowburn romance. If it is not, I see people saying that it is Wattpad novel and they bash the plot.
As I stated, the writer chose to start the story with sexual tension between the main characters. I respect this plot point. And I would say that, the character behaviours are totally logical until now. I hope the romance and the se*ual tension continue. In addition to the power struggle and the treasure hunt, this should make a great drama

WZ played the torturing villain so well. He even threatened Officer Yu saying he should pay attention not to hurt the princess in case anything happens. I liked WZ in this scene .

I also liked the see Pei Yan recognizing that he wanted to keep Jiang Ci captive and that he was wrong to not listening to her marriage refusal. How refreshing ! For once, an obsessive unrequited lover who seems to snap out of his obsession. That's a first.
To me the drama is more and more interesting and I hope it continues like this.

I totaly agree with you. I also think that she can take take over the cities but not with Na Zhan I think that she will make Ruo Wen take Yunpei in the future episodes. And evidently, he will keep pursuing FL ( Bei Shuang). Now, in power position, he might even want to marry Bei Shuang as his first wife. Which could turn SFL (Ge Xin Wei) into a murderer. Even if Bei Shuang doesn't want her man at all.
