I heard a lot of different feedbacks regarding this drama. Either viewers love it or hate it.
I am going to wach in order to make my own jugement.
Because I am more biased toward those how love it.

Now there is a remake. This is even more of a reason for me to watch it.

Yes, and to much wide shots, not enough rythm. More closeups would have been better. But this is only my opinion.
And Maybe they had difficulties onset that we don't know. So that's fine. Because in other dramas the fighting scenes were great. There might have been some issues.

I like think drama and I am sometimes annoyed bicause of FL ans SFL. But I have a good time.

I don't think she changed her face through some procedure because the first time she was in the bath with ML.

To me FL and SML are political siblings, maybe abducted by the Emperor when they where children to serve a purpose. They can also be children of concubines but the Emperor seems so ruthless and ready for everything. I don't know.
FL and SML seems to be former lovers. They at least spent a might together ( possibly, yet needs confirmation).

It is a regular cheating show and revenge drama.
It make me laugh sometimes as well.

Ahhh, She was his Shifu's daughter. I did not notice it in the fisrt scene. Thank you I did not know. So SML is a lord's son, same as ML.

So, if a understood well, they anihilated ML's family, who was a local lord.
ML was supposed to marry the daughter of another local lord.
So that would have made a political and marriage alliance against the Emperor.
So that is why the Emperor killed all ML's family.

The main purpose of the Emperor was to avoid the surge of a counterpower that could prevent him from taking those territories.

And from episode 1 ML is in disguise because he is the heir of the local lord.

Yes this is one of the best drama I have ever watched. My only complain is not having a proper kiss in this drama.

I always talked about money and revenue and royalties that production companies earn from the start.

From the start I spoke about the money made by the drama which benefits to the copy rights owners . It's to say : the producers, directors, actors , authors, composers... (depending on their contract). Why ? because some artist can sell there rights to royalties and copy rights to the production company. In this case they just receive a one time salary.
This is how royalties and residuals work.
And those royalties and residuals are paid twice a year to the copy right owners.

I already know that production companies are paid when they sell streaming or broadcasting rights. (like in the example with youku)

No need to live in South Korea to know about Royalties and residuals because it is a global business. Don't worry. The only difference is the percentage allowed to the artist depending of the country.
For example : BTS's royalties and residuals are managed in France by the SACEM. The band chose to go there because French law allows more money to the artist.

In a nutshell I said that domestically the earnings are lower than internationally.
And that this money benefits copyright owners because it ends up coming to them.

It is simple. It couldn't have ended well with them on the run because the pardon from the Emperor could have been voided by his followers if Wu Xia was caught running after the blast. ( suspicion of regicide)

To really free the people Wu Xia had to die there with the Emperor.

It is very sad but it was for the best.

2/ I don't speak about endorsement but about their next project with the same South Korean movie company.
Endorsements work for local celebrity. And that can only work domestically.
And I did not speak about the foreign movies those actors do. But few of them do.

I only focus on south korean actors and show and I don't speak of actor who succeeded in doing foreign shows because the purpose was to say that the South Korean studio makes money domestically and on foreign market.
