I also hope they do a better job. Maybe the screenwriter wrote it but the rest of the crew didn't make it happen. Because people (we) always blame the writing (and I am sorry I just did) but screenwriters are not the final decision makers in a show. So even if they wrote it Production, Directing and Editing departments are those who really have the final say.
They might have decided to keep all those effects for the climax episode to show development. I don't know.
Anyway, I expect more on new year's eve episode, let's see.

Sometimes I enjoy this high school drama, sometimes all the flaws are more apparent. However I still like it because of the emotions the characters make me feel. Because this is the game : I empathize with the characters so I forgive the average acting sometimes in emotional scenes and the quality of the lines.

Yes, you are right in what you say. I was speaking about the trope : Enemies to lovers. I know that ShenDu considered her as a potential spy for the moth sect. And this is why she was part of his enemies. I get were you are coming from regarding the plot. And this is why I enjoyed their interactions. Even if the misunderstanding lasted a longtime. I agree. It is a role reversal power dynamic. ML plays the typical Marie Sue. A badass FL whose love makes do stupid things. And FL is a typical morally grey character - strong ML who succeds in everything he does. Because let's not forget that there is a lot of schemes between them from the start ( the reason why FL approached ML).

Because at the very begining SFL was bullying him and he was submissive also. ML is playing a typical drama FL(Mary Sue/ Gary Sue => he is a badass but love makes him do stupid moves and he becomes impulsive). They are always like that when they are bullied: submissive. So I am not disturb, I take him for what he is : a Mary Sue . FL is playing a typical strong and smart ML who is pursuing his counterpart.
I think that if it was the over way around : You might have forgave FL to be smitten and submissive to ML, because this would have been the usual trope. Moreover, Fu Sheng was never a damsel in distress. He is very efficient in fights and strategy.
Fu Sheng is better than Katniss Everdeen in "hunger games" : famous Mary Sue. Because He never faces death by the hand of the main villain due to his poor choices like Katniss Everdeen did.
Episode 11 is confusing. This is a real love triangle. I never considered Yuri a green Flag because I remember his grand father. He Is like a mob godfather. Kiefer, weirdly is healthier.

I knew the dad was the mastermind. As we discussed it, it was too much of a coincidence. And I also knew Mao could not handle it. So am very annoyed.
Yes I think Ando's Grandma will stop the father as soon as she sees Mao. And that would be great if it was with Azuma watching. I think the power is supposed to be entrusted to either the dad or Hajime. That would mean that ,the power is now in the Grand father or Grand mother's hand. The dad might want to side with Azuma's family to : either showcase a better future to the company through a business venture, or Azuma's family is one of the shareholders of Hajime's family conglomerate. Therefore, the dad wants to secure a voting power. If this is the case, that would explain why Hajime went to Canada :It was to propose a better plan for the company than his dad's. And in this case, that would also explain why the father is scheming all this. He fears the Grand Father/mother... possibly. So, he has to hide behind Kota and the so-called proof of infidelity.
In any case, now Hajime's trump card is Mao. And nobody knows it at the moment.

What kind of solution is that hmmm. But at the same time, what could she do. Her family is threatenned and she has no support system. I am only pissed because she didn't live any clues for hajime. I guess that means she trusts him or she abandonned him. I am lost at this point.
I was also pissed to see that yes, the dad was behind all this. This man took a lot of trouble to scheme such a plan. That might be because he is afraid of Hajime in some ways.

I am also tired of igarashi, starting from when I saw that Mrs Igarashi now gave herself the mission to meedle in the pathetic life of that Hayashi, the SFL who wanted to frame her for sleeping her way to the top and have her fired with her reputation ruined. What the point of this. That girl Hayashi is rotten to the core. There is no point going to her family house to meddle in her pathetic life (from previews) And I don't like the FL's action implying that Hayashi is a competent worker so FL is trying to help her keep her job, when we saw Hayashi In bed with almost all her sempai n order to manipulate them. This is very bad morals and FL is very dumb to do that. *smh*. FL is shown to be so generous at heart and it is suppose to be a good trait, no, it is a weakness. The only thing she is doing is getting in the way of SFL's retribution and she is going to be in danger because of that. Dumbo. ugh I am so pissed. The show started very well but this bad morals is ruining it.
What I iked the most was the complex investigation. This is why I was watching the drama. I had a hard time with FL and that SFL ChuiChui with her child voice ugh. The only one who saved all this for me was ShenDu.
