I am not sure if TTJ having Li Su Su's devine essence makes him immortal because when Sang Jiu gave her devine essence to keep Mohe river balanced she did not become a mortal (short life). She just had issues with the bad energy she accumulated and needed to clean it via dual-cultivation.

So I suppose that TTJ was a mortal with a devine essence.
This is why he thought that he was dying in never river and the crossbow brought him to the immortal realm.

I think that, what counts is the being's nature at birth.

When Li Su Su gave Tan Tai Jin her devine essence she took the devil bone to seal it, so she didn't have a devine essence anymore. But being a dirtyless body immortal by birth she could bear it.

I understand your point of view but I disagree on several matters.

You might be right regarding the Chineses ban of transmigrations dramas. This is a rumor I have been in contact with. I honestly don't know.

As for XFF not being intelligent in the 5 first episodes.
Yes we don't know what Jiang Li could have done when Mrs Liu came to Zhenny hall temple.
But we know that Xue Feng Fei told Tong'Er that she had to discredit the mistress in order for Mrs Liu to be able to free them from this incarceration. Because, just meeting with Mrs Liu was not enough.
It clearly shows that XFF is clever and I doubt that Jiang li could have done this in the first 5 episodes. The fact is that, when Jiang Li was dying, she ask XFF to tell her father that she was sorry for every thing and that she was at fault for everything.
This tells me that Jiang Li was waiting for her father to rescue her. Which is completely different from Xue Feng Fei's way of thinking because she wanted to force the Jiangs to welcome their daughter back by pleading guilty of salt embezzlement and facing jail time/ or by being expelled from the temple for putting the mistress in jail.

Yes, it was an opportunity to meet Mrs Liu but Jiang Li could never use Mrs Liu like XFF did. Why? Because, yes, she was framed and accused of fratricide and paricide but 10 years in Zhenny hall temple did not give her the desire to seek revenge. Her mind set was to be fragile and being forced to be obedient.
XFF also had the experience of being framed ( by SYR and his family) and being killed.
In the 5 first episodes We see XFF fighting for survival when she gets out of the mud.
It is true that Jiang Li was beaten to death because she tried to help Xue Fend Fei. So yes, she had a spark of rebellion in her but she was not clever enough.
Hypothetically speaking, if Jiang Li has had the opportunity to meet with Mrs liu, I am pretty sure that she would have just begged for release. She would have never framed the mistress like Xue Feng Fei did.
We musn't forget that XFF is a married woman with sexual experience. She could recognize the seductive fragrance of Ylang-Ylang.
She knew, as a sexually active women that once the exhilarated soldier would enter the mistress's room. There were very few chances that the mistress would refuse his advances. So she gambled.
We see it when Mrs Liu comes back and reports the events to Duke Su. Xue Feng Fei exhales before fainting. This tells me that she was scared that her plan wouldn't be successful.

Regarding the manipulation. I disagree. She manipulated everyone.
Yes, Duke Su knew her before and recognized her on the spot, when he met her in the prayer room.
Yes, Duke Su might have understood that she was hiding in the temple for faking her death.
However, he still let her manipulate him and his two bodyguards when he did not react in front of Mrs Liu.

With respect to the double meaning in this story. Your point of view is very interesting. You are right there is a duality in a lot of situations in the story. And you made me realize it. For example:
First concubine : Aunt Hu has a deceased daughter : Jiang Yue.
First wife : Ye Zhen Zhen has a deceased daughter : Jiang Li.

S1 Episode 5: Leaf seventeen, that's a great name ha ha ha

Concerning the transmigration. Someone on MDL said that in China it s forbidden to use this trope. So this is why they did the identity swap.

As for, the 5 first episodes. I think that XFF is shown to be intelligent because she is able to manipulate Duke Su, the mistress, Mrs Liu and everybody to escape from the Zhenny hall temple.
She did what Jiang Li could never do .
So I don't agree on this point

Episode 37 : When Si Ying was trying the flirt with TTJ while he was trapped and tied up in the DG's palace cave in Baren abyss.

Si Ying needs to stop petting and whispering to TTJ's ear.
She is taking the chance because she could never flirt with DG. My guess she is either infatuated with DG or she is a kind of brainless follower.

Either ways, she needs to stop caressing TTJ.

As for TTEOTM, I would have loved for them to give us a speciale episode showing the family reunion, too bad they did not.

I also noticed that she wasn't dirty. But as her hair was wet, this told me that she attempted suicide and the river rejected her. This is how Jiang Li and Tong'Er where able to find her lying on the banks.
So being clean was believable because of the river.

Regarding the marks on her wrists. In the grave we saw that her wrists were redish. It is no more when she is by the river. It should have been, yes, you have a point.

I understand your point of view. It is true that she was the most talented girl of her hometown. The writters could have shown her on another angle on the first episode.
Maybe, they wanted the impersonation to beggin from episode 1?
Maybe in oreder to catch viewers attention/ interrest from episode 1?

To be honest, I was not disturb at all, because at this point of time, it was still the narrative exposition scenes. A lot of drama usually take 2 to 4 episodes to complete this step.
This is why, for the first episode I don't expect to get all the clues.
Given the psychology of Xue Feng Fei, to me her reaction is logical.
