On episode 4 : I am discovering Zhao Lu Si for the first time.
She is a very talented actress. She made me empathize with her so far.
I already knew Liu Yu Ning from "A Journey To Love". And it's a joy to watch another of his project.
Moreover the drama is beautiful.

I did not know Liu Xue Yi but I liked his performance very much as well.

I understood that when she cultivated the dark aura. She was no more human. If you remember, she became Lady of dark aura. So at this point she devilized. But she steal had the "heart guarding scale" when she sacrificed and died. (vanishing) Tian Yao got back his scale.

In general, aterfacts like that can safeguard a sliver of the essence of the beeings. I suppose that like in "Till the end of the moon", this pure sliver of her cultivated in the scale to be reborn.

So from that point of time, Tian Yao had to wait until her reincarnation. As I saw it, she was reincarnated in a human being it seems.

She cannot be reborn thanks to dark aura because she destroyed all of it, with her dragon fire, after channeling all of it to herself. Because she is Lady dragon the wife of Tian Yao.
This was why "lord of dark aura" perished. He was drained from it.

Someone started this topic on the discussion section saying that she survived on everyones forhead. But I don't believe that version :

I get it acting LOL

Why is it bad? I watched 4 episodes.

Well ... The wife asked for it and got it. How can she now say something.

I think this drama is a great drama. It doesn't age, even if some details could be done differently today.. The script is good because it is logical and entertaining .
I liked the lines of the actors. The lines had 2 meanings. It is very rare to see that.
They managed to make me love the rude guy and the childish girl. I usually dislike those type of characters. I finish the drama in 2 days.
This is how much I liked it.
FL lead reacts so weirdly. She doesn't know how to express her feelings. Nor does ML. They are so unique.

Episode 1 - the encounter :
As soon as Mei Lin appears asleeped and her father saves her, she wears the same outfit she wore in the happy ending sequence.
We also see the Weibei army and Qinzhoun in fire.
Wich means that it is really their story that begins again in the ending of the show.

While exfiltrating her from the fire, her father tells « Live, You must live well! »
This represent a promise done to her dying father and we know how important are moribund's last wish for the ones they left behind.
This is why Mei Lin kept repeating it. She respected her dying father's last wish. "She must live".

This is role playing time at Jeinbei: MRJH is a lustful playboy and Mei Lin is a lethal "femme fatal".
In this white troubled water pool, after Mei Lin, (very seductress) told Prince Jing that she just wanted him.
The latter pierced her throat with her own hairpin. The same hairpin she wanted to use to assassinate him. Suddenly a drop of blood fell in the water.
Like the virginal blood falls on the « proof of virginity » on the wedding night.
We had there a hint (through this symbol) of the marriage between the two.
MRJH's hint is delicious :
« Bleeding should be on the wedding night in ZhaoJing »
This foreshadowing of their wedding amazed me :)
