It was longer for one shot in particular. In the drama we saw about 3 seconds of them in the kneeling position kissing each other and most of it was out of focus. But we got a long extended clip of them kissing in that position in the bts. (like 30 seconds) I'm just sad most of the actual kissing part of this bts was edited out. 🤣

(Not that I didn't love the version in the drama as well. It was beautiful. I'm just greedy haha 😅)

TTJ and LSS may not have been Ming Ye and Sang Jiu literally, but by living their experiences and having their memories, they essentially did become them in a way. Those experiences impacted them and their relationship when they left Bo're Life.

Unfortunately, they didn't always learn from the mistakes of those characters straight away. 🤣

The scene where he tells her he never loved her will always make me so sad. He's hurting her so much even though he thinks he's doing the right thing for her. Poor Sang Jiu.

Ming Ye sitting alone, drinking, while crying is such a mood. 😭

The battle begins. Honestly remember being shocked how long that battle went on when watching episode 14 and 15 the first time.

Liu Yuning is second billed after Lusi. So I would assume he's the male lead. When the drama was announced he was listed as the male lead, majority of the reuters I've seen seem to be of them. Tang Xiao Tian is the second male lead.

It's from when it aired last year, I think. There were lots of little clips they did for promo. Same suit, same hair.

But always gorgeous. 😍

This (and episode 9) are still some of my favourites in the drama So much tension. The confrontation between Ye Xiwu and TTJ in the cell was so well acted by them both.

The scarf dance (obviously
) it really is some of the most blatant sexual tension ive seen in a drama. There is a spark of feeling growing. And there is definitely sexual attraction. 🔥But also the part with him running after her. Despite everything there is some part of him that doesnt want to let her go.🤭

La'an's betrayal and the confrontation still hits the same. 🤌

I don't know, I guess it depends on what kind of drama you like to watch. TTEOTM is a Xianxia, and is one of the best and most fast pace in that genre imo. Love Between Fairy and Devil is also a popular Xianxia and is 36 episodes. It's more lighthearted than TTEOTM.
A Journey to Love is a decent recent Wuxia drama.

Most C-Dramas are over 30 episodes though so if the length is the problem you could try one of the shorter ones like My Journey to You or Hidden Love. Both of them were popular last year.

Well there you go then. It just might not be for you, which is okay. Other people love it and found it fast paced as a Xianxia drama. But not everyone is going to be into the same kind of drama. If you're not enjoying it, you don't need to force yourself to watch it.

Also Ye Qingyu being mortified at catching them the next day. And TTJ asking him what exactly he thought they were doing will always make me laugh 🤣 🤭

This was a theory I read too. It's assumed the boy that Ji'Ze pushes into the mortal world is Pang Yizhi, and he's the one who gifts XL the scale. .Ji'Ze is also the one to remind Li Susu about Ming Ye wanting to give Sang Jiu his divine essence to save her. LSS doing this is what gives TTJ the ability to cultivate and ascend. They are hoping that he will be swayed their way, while the ancient devil god is convinced his suffering will sway him to his side.

I also think it's possible Ming Ye may have known the scale might end up saving TTJ's essence at the end too.

And now we have to wait another year for SLY to come out. Something tells me the next year is not going to go as fast. 😭

At least we have Follow Your Heart soon. 🙏

They can! 🤭 Though ive seen them do multiple takes before too. Like with Sang Jiu and Ming Ye. The best parts of that one got edited out too actually 🤣 oh well. At least we have the bts of that one.

I'm so glad the video is released because once I saw those gif's I wasn't going to let that go 🫠 who knows what other unseen/extended stuff exists.

But they also used other takes and shots that are not in this particular clip. (Which means there is even more footage out there somewhere. 😭 )
In the episode they edited around/out the best parts of this clip. (As usual! lol) I still love it but it's very chopped up in the episode. 😅
