Immortal Bird/Mystic Bird (all variations of the name) is the one that gets me the most emotional for some reason. It's not actually used in the drama that much, but it just hits me in the best way. When I listen to it now I still get goosebumps.

But also World that I love, Ordinary Song and Black Moonlight (including the instrumental version they use sometimes 😭)

But there are a few others that really get me too, because the OST is full of sad songs 😂

Btw, if you're needing happy closure for TTEOTM, you could read the epilogue chapters for the novel it's based on. The translated chapters are on the discussion boards of the TTEOTM mdl page. It completes the drama's open ending and they're reunited.

One of my other favourites is the smiles Ye Xiwu and TTJ give each other when they're running from the crowd after they get caught on the float at the water festival. They look so giddy.

Also, the way Li Susu smiles into CJM/TTJ's kiss when they're at the rocks. We don't see that angle fully in the episode, but we see it in the flashback in a later episode.

You might be right. He may not have felt the same kind of love for her as he did for Susu, and he may not have felt emotion in quite the same way as he would in the second timeline. But he still suffered and he was still betrayed by the people close to him, including his wife.
