Is the airing schedule only one episode each day (on Mon, tues, Wed)? If so, I'm sad :( - should be more per week
Two episodes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Then nothing from Thursday-Sunday. Honestly would have preferred it be one episode a day from Monday-Saturday. At least then we'd get the same amount of episodes (6 episodes a week) without the long wait.
Tomorrow. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will all have two episodes. Then there will be no episodes from Thursday-Sunday. Before starting back up on Monday-Wednesday again.
Cang Xuan is the main lead in terms of the plot.Though that doesnt necessarily mean hes the ML/endgame in terms…
That's exactly my point. He is the ML in terms of the plot but he isnt the ML in terms of the romance. In this case The FL doesn't necessarily love the ML in that way. It's unrequited.
People are allowed to have different preferences. He's become my favourite too as he's the most interesting character…
That's fair enough, but your comment sounded like you're incredulous that people prefer him to the other male characters -- "I was on YT and these people picked white hair over all the guys" -- so I'm just saying people prefer him and like him for the same reasons the author does, because he's interesting. Regardless of what he did or did not do. There is a reason for this, even if you don't understand it yourself.
Him treating her poorly in the past is irrelevant to some of them because a character doesn't need to be all good for people to love him more. In fact, him treating her so poorly in the past and then going on to protect and sacrifice for her might actually be one of the main reasons they DO like him so much. People like to see characters change.
There is a reason the enemies to lovers trope is popular in fiction. It's part of the draw of these kinds of character dynamics. Starting from a place of toxicity and darkness and moving towards a place of love, protection (lust in some cases) as well as forgiveness and redemption.
Personally even if he never changed he'd still be my favourite because as a character I like him more than the other male leads at this point. π
I was on YT and these people picked white hair over all the guys someone even said he protects her the most and…
People are allowed to have different preferences. He's become my favourite too as he's the most interesting character by far to me. I've not read the novel, (though I've read snippets and I know how it ends) but it doesn't surprise me in the slightest to hear he's the authors favourite, as well as a favourite of book fans.
You're obviously not a fan, which is fine too, each to their own.
Please Can anyone tell it's a happy ending or not I'm currently in the EP 11 and I want to drop it
Do you want to drop it for reasons other than uncertainty about the ending? If it's just the ending and you're otherwise enjoying it. I'd say keep going. There are so many amazing things ahead. Performances, storylines and moments that will stay with you for a long time. And as other's have said, It's an open ending that is bittersweet but also hopeful.
If there are other reasons you want to drop it, I'd say keep going for a little while longer. If you still find it's not grabbing you, then it's fine to let it go. Not every drama is going to be for everyone.
I see various comments saying how Leo covered his mouth in yesterday's live to cover his scar.I seriously don't…
I don't think it had to do with the scar, which at this point is barely noticeable. I think it's a cultural thing. I've also seen other actors do the same thing. He could also be self conscious about his smile. He's talked in other interviews about how laughing and smiling too much shows off the lines/wrinkles around his mouth - the nasolabial folds.
After all his ABUSE, using, taking advantage of and Selfishness!?? Ha. He pretty much deserves a bad outcome as…
I literally don't care about whether he's a good or bad person. I just care about whether he's interesting or not. And he is. That's all that matters to me and why he's my favourite character so far. A character doesn't have to be all "good" to be a beloved. I'd be so bored if we only got copy and paste "good guys" for our male leads (or female leads for that matter!)
And would I be completely fine with a character like him "winning" or getting a happy ending? Absolutely. It'd be interesting. I don't care about real life morality in fiction, especially when it comes to a character who is a mythological demon. I already know it's not going to happen, but it wouldn't upset or bother me in the slightest at this point.
I think JJHβs feelings are starting to develop. BY needs to evolve; her temper is a bit much. RJ is accepting…
Jiang Jun Hao has definitely started to fall for her. I think He Huan has developed an affection for him too, to a certain degree. Not sure if either of them are really aware of it yet.
She automatically suspect HH.. she's smart and stupid at the same time.π«€
Right! This is someone she's been friends with for 10 years and she automatically jumps to conclusions, screams at her in front of everyone and intends to get her fired. Then it's just an "oops sorry" after she realises she was wrong. Just one of many things that has irritated me with Bai Yang. Got to wonder why He Huan was friends with her in the first place....
I recently finished the drama. "Justice for Tantai Jin", but I can't come to terms with Tantai Jin's death. He…
Yes, a part of his essence was seemingly saved by the heart-guarding scale. I don't think this was intentional on his part, or that he knew it would happen, but Ming Ye's scaled saved part of him all the same. In the novel, it is the tiger demon that saves his soul and as a result he is eventually reborn. The drama kind of implies the same thing. But we won't ever get to see it because there isn't going to be a season two.
Aside from reading the last five chapters of the novel (happy ending chapters) - which are available to read here. Here are a couple of clips youku released that might provide a little bit of solace about the open ending.

Then, as others have said, watch Love is Sweet for the LYX and Bai Lu fluff. haha.
We all get it though. I mean, we're all still here talking about it, so it definitely affected most of us in the same way!
