Because he was still technically The Devil God, even if he wasn't controlled by the OG Devil God's consciousness.…
The same way he did the first time, I guess. Study, cultivate and attain immortality and eventually godhood. He started off as a mortal with the evil bone and no "immortal bone". Li Susu says in episode 6 that because of this no matter how much he studies, he'll never be able reach true godhood. But I think maybe because she gave him part of her divine essence when she replaced his evil bone it makes it possible. Upon being reincarnated, he would no longer have the evil bone at all and he would already have his immortal essence, (his and susu's together I suppose) which would make it possible. Other mortal characters ended up joining the sect too... so some mortals do have this ability.
Or he's reborn as a fully fledged God. He simply emerges out of the scale, after enough cultivation and is reunited with them that way. Which often happens in Xianxia and is kind of what the OG script was implying, I think?
Either of these are completely valid possibilities, I think.
I also saw those interviews, very cute!! It would have been lovely to see TTJ with his family....
Ok... back to TTEOTM, so again due to social media feed... going back to the last episode. LSS became goddess…
Because he was still technically The Devil God, even if he wasn't controlled by the OG Devil God's consciousness. And as long as the evil bone and his other artefacts existed (which was imbued with The OG DG's essence) then there was a chance for that evil to be resurrected again in the future. That, and the fact he had connected himself to the all-in-distress way, in order to destroy that he needed to destroy the devil god completely, The only way to destroy the Devil god for good with no way to return, was to destroy all of his artefacts. This is why, when TTJ crushed the bone he thought there was no way back for him.
I don't think TTJ actually did ascend to become a "True God" in the way Susu did though. They refer to Li Susu as being the only True God left in the world after she ascends in both the drama and the OG script. I believe the change in outfit was a visual cue to show the audience that he was pure and good, and that he wasn't actually controlled by The OG devil god. A god in the sense that he had the Godly amount of power, but not necessarily a "True God" Upon destroying the evil bone, the part of him that was TDG dissipated, while the purified part of his essence, the part that was strictly Tantai Jin was salvaged by the HGS. Leaving it open for him to be reborn as a God though. It is through his death that he attains it.
Or if you like the novel epilogue, reincarnated in the mortal realm.
I thought Leo's Agency already had their hands on the novel ip so don't know where it's coming from.TTEOTM is…
Everything else I've seen says they went to LYX for it straight off the bat.
Gong Jun is very handsome but I don't think he's right for TTJ at all. Not in looks or acting. I actually haven't been a huge fan of his acting in the other dramas I've seen of him. (I am still looking forward to Legend of Anle though, for Liu Yuning haha.)
i just finished it and wanna kill everyone because of tantai jinππππ my poor boy. fuck u destiny π₯²π₯²π₯²
Welcome to the club! Haha all of us are traumatised a little here.
Though i'm pretty sure they're hinting at his return with that final shot. He freed himself from the devil god by sacrificing himself and part of his essence was salvaged, like in the novel. Shes waiting and searching for him.
But unlike the novel we don't get to see it...so its still sad. π ... hopeful... but saaad. π
I saw someone mention it on Twitter, but it is still appearing on the app for me.About hyx, we will never know...They…
It's still available on the international app but it does appear to be completely removed from the chinese youku app. Creators apparently even made a statement about it.
Justice in the dark has been completely removed off the Chinese youku app (still available on the international one for now) they stopped broadcasting this drama after 8 episodes because of the ban on BL content and now its been removed completely. I dont think this is a good sign for Immortality.
Very unlikely to be released any time soon. If at all...
I thought they could do a bit less blood spitting. After the 100th time, it loses its dramatic effect.
Yeah, that's true. A second season runs the risk of ruining things.
I think most of us would have loved to have seen the novel epilogue play out where they're reunited though. But we have to settle for them merely implying it and hinting at it. It's okay, it's still hopeful...,
Totally agree about the blood spitting though lol. I think we all poke fun at it a bit.
This drama ruined The Longest Promise for me. I think we should have another innovative drama like TTEOTM instead…
I have to agree. I've watched the first four episodes of The Longest Promise. It isn't bad... but there's also nothing that's standing out or grabbing me yet. I'm going to give it some more time and maybe it will pick up for me as it goes along.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there will be a second season of TTEOTM. They've already covered 95% of the novel. Originally the drama was going to air in two parts. 34 episodes for part 1, 16 episodes for part two. They ended up re-editing the episodes and making each episode longer and released 40 episodes all at once instead.
TTEOTM will be dragged into fans war this year till the end every time a big anticipated S+ costume airs......That's…
I actually loved his look during the Emperor/ King Jin era. haha His costumes during that era were my absolute favourite of the entire drama. and I didn't mind his makeup. I will admit that it was definitely a little inconsistent though. Where some episodes it looked better than others. Which was kind of odd. But for the most part I liked it. He's so sexy, he pulls almost anything off. lol (But then again I like men in makeup. π)

I too have added TTEOTM to the list of things i wish i could experience all over again

So as far as I'm aware, no second season.
I loved all of his eras if I'm being honest. Though I wasn't a huge fan of Cang Jiumin's wig.
