I laugh everytime they have "that" conversation the morning after! 😂 Are you okay? ('cause I was a beast last night - right? did you love it?) Uh...yea...I'm fine (are you kidding!? I loved it! I'm just acting shy because I don't want to sound like a slut) I'll try to be more gentle next time (yea right. 😏)
This is great - I'm seated for another Love Class! Speaking of which, I really want to see the season 2 cast members in more work - especially Woo Hyo Won!!!
There's a lot of potential ground to cover and things to wrap up in the final 2 episodes! I'd like to get back to the Fashion brand he planned to take over - as well as the AI project Hive Mind.
okay so i guess after reading comments i am the only one confused as to when koh started liking jira (romantically)…
I think it's happened in stages. I think one of the early significant moments he realised something was there - was when he received his own version of the wine stained shirt back from his butler. He immediately went to the Burnout Bar to ask if Jira had been there with Pheem. For the first time Koh was jealous. What may have started as a business transaction was now raw feelings.
Ultimately however, I think you could trace something back to his first encounter with Jira in ep. 1 - when he saw Jira's fearless rage against the guy that hired him - Koh liked what he saw, he admired it, he was attracted to it.
This show is very "real" in the sense that it lays bare a whole variety of ways we individually deal with trauma, express insecurities, and grasp for our selfish desires when we feel like we're drowning.
They're all flawed, they're all talented, and they all posses (I think) at least some desire to contribute something positive in the world. They all have a lot to work through. And in the process of dealing with these issues they've each ended up using each other.
Koh uses Pheem's technical talent to make money to support his revenge scheme - and he uses Jira's artistic talent to help him relax and recover his sanity.
Jira uses Koh to make money and prop up his flailing artistic confidence and act as his muse - and he uses Pheem to prop up his emotional confidence.
Pheem has used Koh to achieve a success he may never have achieved on his own - even though it's come at a cost. Pheem uses Jira to address his emotional insecurities - but this time it's not going as planned. It's not love - it's a grasping that can't be satisfied.
And finally, Mawin is using Pheem (and indirectly Jira) to exact his revenge on Koh. Pheem better watch out - the bug in his ear has his own agenda. I hope Pheem learns who his real friend is fast.
I've loved this story with Fah and Phoon! They've both done a great job acting - particularly Bever. I also enjoy both friends groups - the seniors and the freshies - because all the characters are unique.
Plus, I'm not exactly sure why but I find this season much, much better than the first - which I dropped.
HDL was magical - hope this has similar charm and comedy.

Still, I like Lee Do Hyun and it's interesting he was in the first.
