The last 2 eps were so good! How is this possible?!? I loved so many moments, like when Lanxiang gave her friends those books, and every time Jin Qi & Lan Xiang were together on screen, all of them. LXY is perfect! omg he was so jealous seeing her singing with the scholar! 💚

I think she's seeking revenge too, probably linked to the Wo people.

Yes! I love this, implying what could have happened leaves a lasting impression. And all the scenes with beautiful symbolism, like at the end of ep 18 when we are shown the orchids growing through the rocky steps in the final scene, implying that Lanxiang is like that orchid.

It could be they are Wo, seeking revenge for a very long time. Cui Que wanted to die from poisoning rather than take the antidote, kind of like the Wo pirate Lu Danlang (Lord Fujiwara).

I was waiting for them to explain the motivation behind why the Du siblings` wanted to destroy the Lin family in ep 19 too. I think there`s more to it than jealousy. Probably revenge.

Loved the last 2 episodes! The actress playing Du Cin Que did great in her confession scene, I remember she was amazing in In Blossom too with Liu Xue Yi.

And Lanxiang when she realized Cin Que was a complete psycho, Seven was amazing !

I have to say that up to this point the BGM has been perfect! 🎶 It elevates every scene.

Before I was so glad to watch as AtC aired because it was too good to rush and I wanted to savor the flavor, so to speak. Like a fine wine, lol. But it's too difficult atp because the slow burn between Jin Qi & LX is getting to be too much 🫠 I just want to gulp that fine wine down!

I don`t think Xiuriu was happy either...more worried & stressed because the Lin family can`t handle yet another scandal that`ll affect her own marriage prospects. Also her suspicions about Cui Que were validated! The Du siblings are snakes and a threat. She has to be careful about what to do next!

He is so sleazy! He was furious that she left the cave. Omg I think he wanted to put her in a scandalous position if you know what I mean, which would look bad on the entire Lin family for raising such an unscrupulous daughter. Xiuwan totally reminds me of Lydia Bennett in Pride & Prejudice.

I realized that too, thanks to Lan Xiang recognizing the Yunzi stones gifted by Du Zheng to his sister. So It is looking like the Zhao & Wo people are working with the Du siblings. But if brother is trying to bring down Lin Qi, wouldn't that be undermining his sister's plans of marrying him?

I still wonder why Du Zheng clenched his fists after Jin Qi was released from prison? It does seem like he is jealous of JQ so took advantage of the situation and turned the troops against him...or maybe he was working with Lu Dalang all along? Also thinking that it`s the Zhao grandfather behind Lu Dalang.

Oh no! He forces the marriage? That's messed up! There better be a good explanation later lol. Actually I can't wait to see what happens once he finds out she's a Shen!

When they focused on the 2 horses, I totally thought they would ride together! The director left it up to our imagination 😂

Lan Xiang is literally Jin Qi's savior! She lured out Lu Dalang & figured out how to pass on the letter to Marquis Yuan.

I also agree with others here that there is more to her storytelling at the military camp (which was done so well, I started tearing up 🥹), and that she did that to keep her & Yu Chan safe by bringing as much attention to them as possible.

She is such a brilliant talent that I couldn't help but think the imperial court or military are really missing out. Lucky Jin Qi!
