Holy cow

This episode is so touching. As an animal lover, I believe every animal deserves love and care. I also believe they can smell good people. When it followed Xiao Fang, it only proved how good her heart is.

Two-year plans in motion

And there it was — Mao and his father's two-year masterplan to convict WuYi as a traitor. 😒😤But no matter how hard they try, WuYi has such a capable team of people who would do anything to clear his name and free him. AND they are working non-stop. And even if they seem to be always a moment too late to get some evidence, they still have enough to blackmail Mao and GT Xie into releasing WuYi, Xiao Ju and Xiao Yao. 😌🫣I absolutely loved how JiaYu let Mao know of her loyalty and support for WuYi — firstly by making him give her the decree and seal of her investiture as Prince Jian'an Heir's consort, even if her husband had already been taken to prison on charges of treason, and secondly by rejecting him when she showed him the proof of his true lineage... That's the wife JiaYu is! 👏❤️And the scholar guy being the one who helped frame the Xiao family definitely will be reason enough for YuanJi not to want any romance with him anymore. I hope Yao's time comes soon. 🤞P.S. The scene where WuYi thought that JiaYu might kiss him... 🤭 Yeah, buddy, not gonna happen in this drama. Forehead kisses, embraces, and holding hands are all you're getting. 👆

Baby’s first look

Oh myyyyyy. The baby’s first look is here. This episode depicted a mother’s unconditional love for her baby. Judging from the female lead’s expression, it really is true love at first sight.

A true test in their relationship

This episode depicted how coward the male lead is. He’s just so infuriating. This just means that the lead is truly an outstanding actor.

i was mad af when i realized i had to rewatch this & ALSO END THE NIGHT WITH IT

yeah i don’t like this episode ,it doesn’t really matter. amy’s been a consistent supporting character in most of thes e episodes so far which isn’t bad if they very obviously didn’t know what they were doing with her character. you can’t tell us she wants to be more than a demure young lady & then never let her do anything without #TheBoys stepping in & doing the actual fighting. what they have on paper isn’t the worst thing ever but the practice ,the camera angles ,the story+boards & final product . . . because i do like her ,i like how she is bubbly but that’s especially a reassuring qwuality for a caring & observant person catering to people’s communicated or unspoken needs. but god i hate when they’re aware of misogyny & address it in the story & then still have their female characters do these loop+holes to defeat their opponents like charming them . .. JUST LET HER BASH THEIR SKULLS LIKE 。this is really what it all boils down to for me ,everything is just so shallow

Xiao Fang exudes cuteness

The female lead suits the rural life. She is really a breath of sunshine. I despise the male lead’s family. They are so calculating.

The let down episode

Just when things started closing this episode was a letdown in storytelling. They should have finished at episode 7. Now they tried to add more twists to generate two more episodes whereas they could have closure on the real traitors of the story. Sometimes it’s better to stop when the going is good.

One of the best BL episodes ever…

This episode is so explosive (no pun intended) as the story builds up to its climax. I truly enjoy the scenes with the female director and the conversations about life and death…so much so I want to rewatch the dynamics between Sun and the Director. It s so crucial in Sun’s realization of what truly matters. But the scene in the rain where he runs toward Arthur, as he gives in to his emotions was the crucial part of his awakening. And what about that intimate scene? What did I just saw or maybe I shouldn’t have seen? It was intense, painful yet tears of joy. Whew. Let’s end the series here.
