Episode 12 hits hard and feels like a real turning point in The Judge Returns. The tension that’s been building finally explodes, and the story clearly shifts from setup to endgame. The moral conflict at the heart of the drama becomes sharper, forcing the judge to make decisions that blur the line between justice and revenge.Ji Sung’s performance is the highlight once again. His quiet expressions and controlled anger say more than long speeches ever could. You can really feel the weight of his choices, and it makes the episode emotionally heavy without being overdramatic. The pacing is tight, with no wasted scenes. Each confrontation feels meaningful, and the stakes are higher than ever as secrets come closer to the surface. The episode also does a great job setting up the final arc, leaving viewers tense and eager for what’s coming next.Overall, Episode 12 is intense, well-acted, and emotionally gripping—a strong reminder of why The Judge Returns stands out among recent legal thrillers.

what i don't get (yeah most eps there is something or the other that remains as a mystery to me) but Huai En father is an abusive tyrant. who ironically or not isn't meant to be King cause he would be a scary person with that kind of power. but the part i don't get is why Huai En is trying to help him regain the throne. when he was a child he had no other go, he had to suffer quietly cause who knew what the crazy ass father would do to his own son. but now as an adult he is putting himself in danger trying to get him (the ledger that Xiao Bao's father's got hidden & the girl Xiao Bao saved & is now living as his sister) to what end? put him on the throne so he can be a cruel King?!? guess i am missing something *********************************************& i get that Xiao Bao is wooing Huai En cause he wanted to get even for the consequence's of aphrodisiac incident. the fact his flirting & running after Huai En, got him a 2nd night with him - i guess is neither here nor there.. or has he fallen in his own trap?the fact Huai En is also falling would be funny if he didn't have a fiancé & a psycho of a father to deal with - until now on a whole this was fun & games, hope this doesn't get too dark

The simplicity of family strong family ties wins over romantic obstacles, Gao Ming Helps Huan Ers sister with school planning and logistics, masterfully executed and then using the well used strategy, draw attention to self with a feigned illness. Meng Meng gets encouragement from her boy boy by expressing fears of the singing competition. Both Girls are giving and receiving love, which is needed badly to be practically experienced.

it was actually good, the twist factors like the mother mistake her for her friend, the SIL having a deep grunge and want to take over the company, the nephew who is also works under her as an intern, intriguing boss, problematic mother, the ML traumatic problem, but sadly, its beating around the bush too much. up till episode 8, they still in developing feelings stage, for 8 episode its too much especially if the drama only consist of 12 eps. i don't know how you could fit in the rest of the twist to untangled unless it was force to untwist which will not give you the satisfaction of watching it unfold. so let see. will change the rate after the drama ended.

am a bit confused Huai En took the aphrodisiac poisoned needles for Xiao Bao & then over powered him, but Xiao Bao acted like he was the one that got poisoned - given the lack of resistance - so confused if his V-card being taken, is what put him in a 2 day coma. or am i missing something?!? *********************************************************************************************but the addition of Su Yin is an interesting twist, even though doubt he sees Xiao Bao as anything but a a goofball childhood-friend. just seeing Huai En getting jealous at their roughhousing was fun. as he got a lot going on in his head, so wasn't sure how moved he was by what happened between him & Xiao Bao. ************************************************************************& i aint glossing over the fact that the mains 1st time, was basically r*pe. so i want Xiao Bao to get even (& NO i don't mean i want him to r*ape Huai En in return) but that Huai En becomes a whipped man, that's the least he can do to make up for forcing himself on Xiao Bao.

the problem with Chinese dramas of any genre is that (when u don't speak the language) & rely solely on subs - even very good subs there is a lot that get's lost in translation. & in periodical drama's noticed that a character has more then one name... leaves one confused as to who is whom & what is going on. especially when there is a child to adult transition. so i got the broad idea but am i sure i am 100% right - nope. *******************************************************************************************anyway this was cute, but Xiao Bao is a bit of an airhead if he thinks Huai En is a woman... from which angle?!? yeah he has very delicate features but they NOT feminine in the least IMO & when he opens his mouth that aint no woman's voice. but i guess we will see what happens in the next ep - when Xiao Bao is confronted with the reality of who or what Huai En really is.

I thought y'all were playing about him, straight up checking him out lmaooo. Whoever came up with this idea used chatgpt bc i aint no fucking way. This shit is so random, but the cats are cute, and we are getting some slow romance in there, which is good. My cats LOVE plastic bags lmao. “Hey, you wanna talk to cats?” “Not really.” “Khao will be your lover and give you sexy eyes the entire time.” “Say less.” -the director and first probs. I dont really know how I feel about this show, yet I can't lie. It is so fucking random, and I think we need to focus a little more on our couple instead of these fucking cats, but yeah. Also, that random water scene was really weird lmao. 8/10 okay bye!

So all the boys were in love with Makiko when she was younger and they still are??? Is that what the story is implying?? And Keisuke being married for a year and Makiko doesn't know is wild!! Are these adults or 12 year old my goodness. I wish we could just focus on the murder and not this ridiculous relationship stufff.

This episode was packed with a lot going on. Ms Hong cleverly figured out who Yehppie is but by the end of the episode completely alienated him from wanting to work with her. Queen B was all set to tattle on Hong and then found out she took a hit for her brother. That was a strong conscience battle for her. Too many people know who Hong really is and everything is coming to a head. There is a financial crisis for all of Korea and because of Ms Hong’s tampering with their cooked books, their bank did not qualify for assistance. What is more interesting is Shin knew he had taken her file instead of the one prepared by the bank. Who did Shin meet with the second time when he wanted out and gone from the bank? Mi Suk was so happy selling the New Korea fund to people and now she is the most hated person in her branch. The chairman has lost it because his slush fund won’t be further funded and Ms Hong finds out her dad contributed to the new Korea fund and only received 20% of his investment when he sold it back the next day. Because Hong had Al cover for her, Shin thinks she was working jointly with Bang and had no problem using her file. Bang has washed his hands of it all where Hong is concerned. We find out why he got in this mess 9 years ago and he finds out why she did what she did. What was unexpected is that they are now on each side rather than working together. He sees her as trashing the livelihoods of the employees at the bank and she sees it as justice and vengeance for her mentor.

I like how ridiculous Jane is, I also really appreciate how we see Dai's soft and shy side a bit in this episode,I hope Wai and the girl she's dating in like a normal age gap like a year or two. Wai is a first year college student so i hope the girl is a high-school senior at least. otherwise it'd be weird.some scenes where a bit lacking with acting, some camera shots could've been better but otherwise pretty good. i like how lighthearted everything is so far.

I love this drama. The cast setup is the best and they play the role so well! Both come in headstrong and catches my full attention . I love Ryan, he's extremely talented and I'm, again, not disappointed! It fits to the novel so far so I'm happy about that. This is a very good and quirky drama, so good!! 10/10

It is the 1st episode, and they are putting the base of the story, everybody, that is supposed to be main characters is not presented yet, which makes it a bit confusing. The timeline sucks though. We go from a scene to be 10 years prior, then 5 years later, another 5 years later, leading to 1st scene again, another 5 years later, then 15 years leading to our timeline. All of this is happening in the first episode. What was the 1st timeline because it is confusing. Overall, they are presenting everything that leads to the beginning of the story, so I guess it out to be confusing, but still. I now have numerous questions, which means that I am hooked and want to see the other episode, to see whether or not my questions will be answered and if my theory so far is the good one. So even if it is a bit confusing, at least they succeed in getting my attention
