unusual beauty Is why i watched this to the end.
I enjoy the drama use of this unusual woman. It makes it so much easier to watch the acting. I struggled at first and eventually fell in love with this woman's acting. The story was bumpy, but I watched it only to see how her acting was, and it was great. I leave comments on the rest of the show for others. Was this review helpful to you?

I tried!!!!
As a thriller fan, i am disappointed. How can you call this show a thriller when all there is romance rather than actual solving of case. I loved the chemistry and actors but the plottt, LET ME ATLEAST GET INVESTED IN THE PLOT BEFORE JUMPING TO UNNECESSARY ROMANCE. I was so excited for this series but i know how i have managed to complete. Initial investigation of victim's room didn't uncover the hidden cameras but one random house just did. What were the officers doing when it was obvious that the killer will attack everyone in the group, was Jay the only one that needed protection? and trust me Jay was not all cute AND fluffy, HE FUCKIN' KNEW WHAT HAPPENED TO FAI STILL DID NOTHING LET ALONE SPEAK UP ABOUT IT AFTER HER DEATH. I tried so hard to like this series and i know this is just work of fiction but this series missed the obvious points. The poor balance of romance and thriller made the series go from wow to meh
I love the pair, but i just don't like their kissing scenes mainly due to dunk (I am not a hater) I feel like he should go with the flow rather keeping his lips tight and reserved and all the warmth a hug holds but with this pair in this series, i didn't feel anything from dunk's side. Joong was enjoying the hug (i don't know how to explain) but it didn't look the same with dunk which made the hug feel weird to me.
AGAIN I LOVE THE PAIR SO PLEASE DON'T COME AT ME

The Likay dance portion: Great; BL portion: Poor
Here again is another BL that I desperately wanted to like. And oh, did it have some fine moments in it. While I do not know if the performers were master crafters, they made it look professional and very accomplished. For that, the production ought to be commended along with all the performers. I am sure it took many, many hours of practice to display the nuances and subtleties of the dances and movements and I for one am deeply appreciative of those efforts. So, the story around the Likay dance was exceptional. Unfortunately, the romance and drama around the protagonists, sorry to say, was a whole different story. It was unfortunately weak. It got tropey, cliché, and formulaic. Then it took a deeply dark turn that it did not need to take; as a main theme for one of the protagonists was already somber. As long as the story remained on course to the development of Likay, it made sense and was entertaining. You can read my full review at BLBliss.com.Was this review helpful to you?

Lin Fensong acting was on point.
Okay I watched few Song Amnesia Yuanye version but i quite like Lin Fensong one I surprised on Bai Ye acting since most of her drama were quite underwhelming but both leads got decent chemistry. Her potrayal of FL was not over to top and shown her insecurities which kind of rare on other version. The kissing scenes are absolutely stunning. There's no melodrama, no angst, and no manipulative green tea bitches—it's a sweet drama that's incredibly addictive. The charm of a good screenwriter lies in their ability to bring different appeal to the same plot. I want to search this scriptwriter other works since she/he write this story more plausible to watch.
One thing I really like about this drama is FL's departure from the SML and her subsequent love for the ML are predictable and not at all abrupt. It's the SML's cowardice, SML mother's domineering and manipulative behavior, the family's disrespect and contempt for FL, and his possessiveness towards her as a perfect commodity that make her realize their problems are irreconcilable, making a decisive separation inevitable. She did try to give this relationship, which she thought she had loved for years, a happy ending, but she still lost to incompatible souls . She fell in love with ML slowly while she already let go her past relationship.
This version of Song Yuanye has a perfectly balanced twisted quality during the early stages of their ambiguous, tug-of-war. He's clearly a villain, yet he possesses a unique and devoted love for the female lead, making him both deeply affectionate and captivating. ML loved her "imperfections" even more. A kiss on her imperfect ballerina feet, which she thought was embarrassing but was actually her pride, shattered the last line of defense she had always held. Her soul was touched, and she fell completely in love with him, even before she remembered him as the lover who had given her such passionate feelings. ML's physical attraction was really evident; loving someone can indeed be acted out. Lin Fensong nailed on this ambiance situation.
The only downside was that the memory recovery at the end felt a bit rushed, but that doesn't detract from the overall quality. It's definitely worth watching.

Literally drama had "No tale to tell"~ But good for a binge-watch
🌸 Before Anything Else…I loved EUN-HO and her character. Truly. 💗
The way she uses her powers from Episode 1 to Episode 12 is absolutely hilarious — it’s exactly what the audience would wonder about and want to try themselves. 😂 She doesn’t overcomplicate things. She just does them. And her take on life??
INJEONG. 👏
🦊 Now, To Business~~
It’s a very tried-and-tested genre in K-dramas — the fantasy romance with immortal beings, grim reapers, gumihos, tragic fate, and destiny-bound love.
We’ve already seen iconic, genre-defining works like:
Goblin
Tale of the Nine Tailed
A Korean Odyssey
My Roommate Is a Gumiho
K-dramas love this genre — and for good reason. It blends romance, mythology, comedy, and angst so beautifully. ✨
But over time, audiences get used to the formula. Once you’ve seen enough “immortal falls for human” arcs, the emotional beats start feeling predictable… unless the writing truly elevates it.
At this point, it’s not enough to just follow the template. The genre needs stronger world-building, deeper emotional layering, or a fresh twist to truly stand out.
And yes — current censorship limitations and editing constraints could absolutely affect storytelling. If darker backstories, historical elements, or lore-heavy explanations get trimmed down, fantasy dramas suffer the most. They rely on buildup. On history. On myth. Cut those, and pacing feels off. Depth feels missing.
Unfortunately… this piece doesn’t scratch much even on the surface for me. 😔
🍿 As a Watch?
It’s an okay binge-watch.
It doesn’t drag. It’s easy to finish quickly — I completed all 12 episodes, which says something because I’m a habitual dropper. 😭 So yes, that alone makes it worth a try.
It’s perfect when you don’t want emotional overload. Just something light. A quick snack drama to keep you entertained for a few days.
🎭 About the Leads
I don’t think I’ve ever really connected with Park Solomon as an audience member.
Maybe it’s my first impression bias. I watched him in villain roles when I was younger, and that image stuck. I even saw him play a minor killer once — so now whenever he smiles sweetly on screen, my brain goes: “Where’s the malicious intent?” 😭
It’s probably unfair, but it does affect how invested I feel.
I also wasn’t deeply into the leads’ chemistry overall. That might be partly my bias, but emotionally I just didn’t feel fully drawn in.
🎬 Execution & Editing
There were many interesting, funny, cute, heart-fluttering, mind-blowing, heart-racing scenes. 💓
But that’s exactly what they felt like — scenes.
I didn’t feel a strong emotional flow connecting everything. It felt like a collection of moments rather than a cohesive journey.
The editing sometimes felt random. The ending especially felt rushed. It genuinely feels like something happened during release — maybe scenes were cut or backstory removed. Some explanations feel incomplete. Some plot points don’t feel fully involved.
It’s like chunks of history or character depth were edited out.
And because of that… even during the big emotional moments, I couldn’t cry. 😭
💔 Missed Potential
It’s filled with clichés — repeated tangy romance lines, familiar dramatic beats.
But the villain’s revenge motive? It actually had a solid foundation. That’s what frustrates me. It feels like the production planned something grander — something more layered and powerful — but the final cut doesn’t fully deliver.
So many missed opportunities…
Like being ended by the very entity you created yourself — that poetic irony could have been explored more.
But well… who am I to ponder what could have been? 😅 I’m sure the team did their best, especially with possible challenges, politics, and constraints. It’s not easy to deliver strong fantasy content under limitations like polictics and favors tc
🌟 Things I Loved
Eun-ho. All of her. Every second. 🦊
Her confession scene — iconic, hilarious. 😂
The fact that she remains a gumiho (THANK YOU).
Them visiting her home in NK in Episode 12.
The Spongebob-esque theme song vibes and them sunbathing on her island 😭
etc.....
🌼 Final Thoughts
Overall, it’s a lovely, light watch — just not a standout. Entertaining in the moment, easy to binge, fun in parts… but not something that lingers long after it ends.

Airforce story
If you like history and military series, this one is for you. I truly enjoyed the actors, some much older with great acting skills that made the story even more interesting. Lots of airplanes flying, and the main leads are great to watch. Some comedy, as expected from Zhu Ya Wen. He is always fun to watch. I didn't yet finish the series as I am taking a break from all the flying scenes. Was this review helpful to you?
Well worth watching
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It has a great cast of actors, and the story line kept me watching. There are different stories of each character and some twists during the plot that are surprising. Period drama with sweet female lead that makes us count our blessings for living in our era where women have many choices. Was this review helpful to you?
Not worth it.
Park Minyoung used to be one of my favorite Korean actresses, but these days I can barely stand to look at her. In Healer, City hunter Sungyukwan scandal and even some of her later works, like When the weather is fine and What's wrong with secretary Kim, her face used to be so beautiful and expressive with her chubby cheeks and bright smile, I could stare at her for hours and not get bored, but now I'm not sure if she had more plastic surgery of if it's the excessive weight loss but, she's lost her brightness, her expressions are stiff and I can't quite understand what she's supposed to be feeling and that's unfortunate because this drama is very interesting, I really liked the first two episodes, but I'm not sure if I want to continue watching, I want to because I'm really curious as to what exactly is going on but, ughh the plastic face is just too distracting.I've done my best not to be distracted by Park Mingyoung's appearance, it's hard but it's worth it, Especially because the villain is so terrifying, he doesn't have that many scenes or even lines but his presence is so alluring, this might be my favorite of Ki Junghyun's characters. The plot is getting more interesting, Han Seola has got to have the worst luck in drama history it is a miracle she's still alive actually. I want to know more, I'm pretty invested here, let's see what happens in the upcoming episodes.
8 episodes into this drama, and I want my time back, by god this has gotten so dumb, this is an absolute waste of good cast. There are still 4 episodes left, and I'm not sure if I'm curious enough to see it though.
I tried to finish this but episodes 9-10 were garbage although I am curious to see how they wrap this up, I won't be watching I give up, I have had enough.

More series like this!
I love it!I love the fact that we git soooo many series in one.
It is a Perfect idea to have multiple 4-episode series in one. Eventhough you would think 4eps is short this concept made it feel like they were full lengt series.
So I think that series like this might be a great way to give all the viewers what they want. Parings, storys, concepts,....

The drama has no direction and lacks in so many aspects
-The chemistry between the leads just isn’t there, and the tension feels flat.-The directing, acting, and even the choice of OST for certain scenes often feel off and questionable.
-The drama relies too much on filler scenes, only to rush the main plot and real conflicts into the last few episodes.
-The story had strong potential because of its fresh concept, but many important parts especially the backstories were underdeveloped or ignored.
-Even the comedy falls flat and feels more boring than entertaining.

One of the best!
This i by far one of the best drama's i have seen! The story is great, with several plot twists.I really liked how you could see the clear battle formations. And in a lot of drama's they say it's an army of thousands, and you only see about 100 or less man fighting. In this drama you actually see thousands!
The visuals are stunning and the music very beautiful.
The acting is top notch, a few of my favorite actors were in it, like Yang Yang, Zhao Lu Si and Leon Lai.
The chemistry and dynamics between Yang an Lu Si is amazing and te kisses were good.
This is a must watch!

Sadly, there is no more OhmNanon 😔😢
Oh well.. that was a nice time to live in tho waiting for each episode to premier I even watched the premiering episodes on christmas as a gift for myself 😍😊🥰
