I only wish Kwangsoo had been part of Season 3. Overall, this season was thoroughly enjoyable. Dex stood out with his undeniable charm, and his moments with Yuri were especially memorable and endearing.

I missed this type of Kdrama
Spring fever is nice, it reminds me of the drama that pulled me to Kdrama. It reminded that I am in fact a hopeful romantic. The drama doesn't pretend to be more than what it, it's funny where it needs to, serious where it needs to be, touching where it needs to be and its well paced. It's a pretty straightforward story that doesn't require much from the watcher, boy meets girl, biy fall in love and is unwavering in his devotion and so begins the romance.
Everyone did a great job the acting especially the male lead, he should get an award for this performance.
Watch if you enjoy a sweet romance, with a good story set in a small town, a healing drama, with a happy ending. I really enjoyed it and I'd definitely re-watch it so I highly recommend.

The version I saw didn't have their blind date
I'm not sure if other versions include their blind date, but here's the one I saw: https://youtu.be/5x0-jnbBAtA?si=imLJ-RL3vKAAmRVf which made the beginning a little confusing. From my understanding, ML pays her 3 million yuan for 3 months of marriage. She agrees in order to pay off her brother's gambling debts. Their agreement includes stipulations, which require penalties, extending the marriage by a month each time she breaks one. This backfires on him later. He had approached her in such a underhanded way and often bullied her to get his way. I was not his biggest fan, so I'm glad he eventually started to change a little and became more honest. I think, because he approached her dishonestly, he projected negative attributes to her, that she's just money-hungry. It's true that she was desperate to help her brother, but she wanted to work for herself afterwards, never expecting to spend his money. After she had fallen for him and they slept together, he transferred 1 million yuan to her account as compensation. It was not something she asked for or expected. I felt like he did it to slap her in the face. Even though it was a HEA, there were so many problematic messages and actions throughout. And that family beating was extreme.

When Labels Fade, Healing Begins
This drama is my first favorite of 2026. It’s far from perfect, but it kept me engaged from beginning to end and delivered where it mattered most.Story (4.5/5):
The story follows Bom, a teacher who moves to a small town to escape a damaging label after an incident in Seoul, and Jae Gyu, who carries his own reputation based on rumors and first impressions. Both characters are judged before being understood, and the drama does a great job showing how those labels affect their lives. As they grow closer, they not only help the villagers and teachers see the truth, but they also slowly heal themselves.
The writers handle the narrative well—introducing the problems, showing the emotional brokenness, working through conflict, and allowing healing to begin. My only issue is the heavy focus on the teachers. I didn’t care much about most of them, and too much screen time was spent on their storylines.
Acting/Cast (3.5/5):
The main leads completely carried this drama. Jae Gyu and Bom were compelling, emotionally grounded, and believable, making it easy to stay invested. While there’s no clear main villain, there are plenty of frustrating characters.
The Choi siblings were the worst for me. I Jun’s resentment toward Jae Gyu felt excessive, and Se Jin’s constant attitude made her hard to tolerate. Even with their redemption arcs, too much damage had already been done for them to become likable by the end. Bom’s parents also fall into this category—her image-obsessed mother and passive father were disappointing, though not the worst K-drama parents I’ve seen.
Among the teachers, Hye Suk stood out positively, while the Dean was easily the most unlikable.
Music (5/5):
An easy 5 stars. The music fit the tone of the drama perfectly and enhanced both the emotional and lighter moments.
Rewatch Value (4.5/5):
Definitely a rewatch, especially for the cute and funny scenes. The drama noticeably improves once the leads get together, which made the second half much more enjoyable for me.
Final Thoughts:
This drama isn’t flawless, but its strong leads, emotional healing, and satisfying character growth make it memorable. If you enjoy slow healing stories and character-driven romances, this one is worth watching.

A quiet season that almost bloomed
As someone who is a complete sucker for seaside and countryside slice of life dramas, it was no surprise that I would enjoy this one.It did deliver exactly what I expected on the surface. And yet, the drama left me feeling kinda underwhelmed.
I started this with hopes of a light, hometown chachacha type of comfort watch and it did not disappoint in that regard. However, as the story progressed... it began to feel bland and emotionally unfinished in several aspects, as if the drama knew what it wanted to be but never fully committed to exploring it.
This show is heavily carried by its leads, and honestly... only by its leads lol. Both of them are super charming and perfectly cast. Their chemistry was CHEMSITRY-ING, and I genuinely hope they get more scripts together in the future.
ABH as Sun Jae Gyu, playing the "looks like a thug but is actually a golden retriever" character was pitch perfect. I genuinely can't imagine anyone else pulling off this role the way he did fr. This made me realise just how impressive his range is, and yes, it absolutely made me fall for him all over again. (he's SO HOTTT)
similarly LJB as Yoon Bom was just as incredible. Every time she appeared, all I could say was "woah". She brought such quiet warmth to her character that made her instantly lovable. ♡
☆ *What I disliked about the drama:*
1. The fl's stalker and assault storyline was my biggest issue. The writers set it up as something deeply traumatic and life altering, yet the closure was wrapped up in what?? like 5mins?? 😭😭 It felt shockingly unsatisfactory. The impact on the fl was huge, yet the closure treated it like a minor inconvenience smh. Maybe it's my fault for expecting a "the glory" type revenge but instead the writers were aiming for realism.
2. I think almost everyone can agree that the teenagers were a complete snoozefest! The nephew (hangyul) was written as an ungrateful mess. from being unappreciative of the uncle who raised him just to chase the mother who abandoned him, to deliberately ruining sports day and exams over a crush. it was so draggyyyy and exhausting to watch. His lack of connection to the person who actually raised him felt extremely off as well. Even the sister (sejin) was no better. She blamed everyone else for her failures and added nothing meaningful to the story. 🙏
3. The unnecessary redemption arcs were such a disappointment. The lawyer was clearly written to be disliked for the first 10 eps, yet suddenly he is forgiven and turned into a "bestfriend" figure. After lying, manipulating, and causing damage without even communicating properly, his forgiveness felt undeserved. like ewwww.
4. I'm sorry but as for the side characters, there wasn't a single well written and interesting one except for mrs seo maybe. None of them had any depth in them and I felt like skimming through every scene that had nothing to do with the leads. The fl's family especially made no sense. The father barely tried, and the mother, a famous actress obsessed with protecting her image, somehow decides to have a highly sensitive and volatile conversation in the middle of a public building lobby lmaoo. Completely unrealistic.
5. The leads' backstories were half baked too. We never truly understand how the ml moved and raised his nephew to a new town and became a rich ceo, or why the people had no idea what he did until the fl arrived.
☆ *What I loved about the drama:*
1. No dragged misunderstandings! The leads didn't keep stuff to themselves, communicated like adults and resolved issues within minutes. Such a refreshing and healthy dynamic thank goodness!
2. The comedic timing was surprisingly good. Yes, there were used clichés, but the leads executed them so well that they actually worked (for me atleast hehe :))
4. The pacing was on the slower side but it suited the slice of life genre. The story was allowed to breathe, giving emotions space to settle.
5. THE LEADS. THE CHEMISTRY. The sole reason I finished the drama. Both performances were phenomenal, and I am genuinely excited for their future projects 🌟
6. The cinematography and music were beautiful. Visually stunning! And the OSTs were too beautiful esp the one by miyeon!
Overall, the drama did meet my expectations, but it also... fell short in several important areas. The leads were everything, which is surprisingly rare for romcoms these days. It was relaxing, comforting, and enjoyable despite its flaws. I might as well rewatch it when i want something to be playing in the background while i do my work.
Thank you, spring fever, for making my mondays and tuesdays a little more exciting!! 🌸

Nice premises but need improvement for second couple arc
I watched this last year and the premises is quite interesting. FL has severe sister complex. To be with her sister, she marries her brother-in-law's younger brother. Then, because her brother-in-law is suspected of cheating and she want to divorce.ML has to appease FL while also ensuring the happiness of his older brother and sister-in-law's marriage, acting as their love protector or their punchback.
Wu Yiqiao's portrayal of FL is adorable and endearing, but on few scenes it feels artificial. Hou Pengyan's as family punchback from FL, SML and FL older sister was quite hilarious and pitiful at the same time. I quite enjoy sisters chemistry too.
Personally there is room of improvement for second couple since they lacked of chemistry and their arc was quite limited. SML aka the older brother has limited screentime so we didn't get enough of his character. The villains are quite annoying even it was easily defeated by the sisters. If they polished the second couple arc, i would give the rating higher.
Only for fans.

Its OK
Was this really needed NO, did the direct try and give more boring storyline to enhance the original series YES. This was not need but to give an over cute ending with NC and over the top comedy. This whole series is sadly bad. the actor who plays Thun is amazing but the pairing it self is lacking and i hope they do something else together to really show what they can do because this series did not give them justice. Everything just felt over the top and not realistic at all. I wanted to enjoy this series and extra episode but just felt rushed and off putting. There are some very cute moments i enjoyed but not enough to want to watch it all again, and not a fan of Keen at all to much child like to be an adult very off putting. Was this review helpful to you?
This could have been fun but was lacking instead
This series could have been good but the story was way too fast to want to keep watching, the lack good story flow and unrealistic lead pair getting together to fast was boring and Keen is a horrible child like character that is in everyone else business but his own. I am sure the actors are great but this series is lacking in the chemistry and story flow department. This series could have been great but the lead pairing got together in 3 episode which was so boring because they needed more drama in the storyline before getting together and what you got was boring love it first sight which looked bad on them and turned this into a fluff piece instead of adult acting. Keen character is horrible and childlike that he is an adult college graduate who sis smart and yet acts like a 16 year old opening his mouth where he should not. I loved the co-cast and Thun was great but this series needed some work. Ending was horrible. Was this review helpful to you?

Happiness wrapped into one drama!
Genuinely don’t think there was a moment I wasn’t laughing or smiling (Obviously, that’s dramatic. There were points where my emotions were all over) butttttt overall this drama just gave you happy bubbly feelings at the end of episodes at the beginning of episode in the middle of episodes. There were obviously some touchy subjects and a few bumps along the way but they weren’t really emotionally destroying the whole series on all the episodes genuinely just made you feel really happy and I haven’t watched a drama like that in such a long time most have a really dramatic part and then growth whereas this was just all happiness with like a side of growth and I LOVED it!!
I liked the beginning the prosecutor Doberman references they made me laugh so hard because I just wasn’t expecting it but it was so so good!
the main male character is the only one I recognise personally however I think the cast was so good and I would definitely look them up for further dramas in the future and I might even look up some of their older dramas as well!
I would recommend this drama to anybody who wants a smile on their face and to be laughing and having a great time without too much effort!!

I’m sorry to the fans, but I’m passing on this one. Truly disappointing, seriously.
Initial ConsiderationsWhen I finished the second episode, I could not stop thinking about those who, in one way or another, criticized *To My Shore*.
My apologies in advance. There is no ill intent here—only an uncontrollable reaction to the contrast between what we are witnessing now and what *To My Shore* once delivered.
Let me be clear: I loved *To My Shore*. Perhaps that is precisely why I have never written about it. I intend to rewatch it calmly and only then share my thoughts on MDL.
That said, even having seen only two episodes, *Yesterday* cannot be postponed.
The narrative duality presented in the first two episodes borders on the absurd. The discrepancy between timelines is striking, and the excessive, poorly positioned time jumps do not enrich the plot; instead, they disorient the viewer, leaving us suspended in a constant state of bewilderment—confused, adrift, and repeatedly asking ourselves: *what exactly is happening here?*
In the first arc, set one year earlier, we are introduced to Veir: a wealthy, handsome, intelligent young man, apparently well established within his family’s business empire. As the only son, he is portrayed as the natural heir, fully supported by his father, a powerful and successful businessman.
Veir presents himself as polite, refined, and ostensibly principled, openly claiming to despise lies and injustice. Yet this moral posture proves to be conditional. His “good man” façade lasts only as long as it serves his interests. Kelvin is one such interest. Once the conquest is achieved, Veir wastes no time in clarifying his emotional detachment: no commitment, no emotional ties, only casual sex. For him, intimacy is transactional, stripped of affection or consequence.
Parallel to Veir, we meet Kelvin—the marginalized, humiliated, submissive, and undeniably gentle figure of the story. The second son of another magnate, Kelvin exists in a paradoxical position: despite his status, he functions almost as a servant within the household. His suffering becomes a silent catalyst for Veir’s attention. Veir, perhaps unconsciously, begins to offer subtle support, while simultaneously orchestrating a seduction devoid of responsibility or emotional accountability.
The first episode also introduces two other key characters. Ken, the eldest son of the Kim family, is portrayed as morally bankrupt and utterly incompetent—a character defined by cruelty. He persistently humiliates Kelvin, his younger brother, and aspires to an arranged marriage with Lalin, another central figure. Lalin remains largely unreadable at this stage, but one thing is clear: she despises Ken and resents the obligation imposed by her father, yet another powerful patriarch in this narrative of wealth and control.
Then comes the second episode, where the story takes a far more disturbing turn.
One year later—an interval that feels narratively insufficient—we encounter a Veir who is almost unrecognizable. The confident, arrogant heir has been reduced to a fearful, emotionally needy man on the run, fleeing desperately, “like the devil fleeing the cross,” now inexplicably trapped under Kelvin’s control. He becomes the victim of kidnapping not once, but twice, and yet responds with a disturbing passivity. Even more troubling is his submission to sex as a means of securing financial leverage for his father—a choice presented without sufficient psychological grounding, rendering it unsettling rather than tragic.
Kelvin, in turn, undergoes an equally radical—and far more alarming—transformation. The once gentle, oppressed figure emerges as an executioner: obsessive, sexually coercive, and deeply toxic. Now armed with power, he intimidates and dominates the very man who once held emotional and social advantage over him. What was previously subtextual suffering becomes overt cruelty, and the dynamic shifts from imbalance to outright abuse.
And that is where we stand. Two episodes that are undeniably intense, yet frustratingly opaque, offering little indication of whether redemption—moral, emotional, or narrative—is even possible for either protagonist.
I confess my curiosity remains intact. Had this drama been produced in China, it would almost certainly have been halted by censorship.
And here we are—whether admirers or critics of *To My Shore*—watching all of this with dropped jaws and incredulous laughter.
Sorry, everyone.
Enjoy the ride. Watch it.

Unfortunately, the drama has taken a very disappointing turn. On top of that, the storyline diverges significantly from the original novel it was adapted from. Both the book and the drama have lost the appeal they once held for me. I found myself so disheartened that I simply can’t continue watching. Not to mention the mediocre performances delivered by some of the actors.
I’m sorry to the fans, but I’m passing on this one. Truly disappointing, seriously.

Definitely Worth a Watch
I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about the plot, which probably influenced how much I enjoyed it, but I honestly thought it was great. I’m not familiar with the original Japanese version, and I’ve noticed that a lot of the ratings seem heavily based on comparisons to that. I think if more people rated this purely as a standalone film, it might have received fairer and higher scores.I’m definitely going to watch the Japanese version now, and I’m sure I’ll probably end up agreeing with many of the reviews that compare the two. That said, on its own, I think this is absolutely worth a watch and one of the better Korean movies I’ve seen in a while — and God knows I’ve seen a lot haha. I’ve also worked with film sound design and music, and the soundtrack here is veryyyyy well done!

Forget the harsh cold Winter and blossom in the warmth of Spring!
A drama that gave what it promised, a time full of laughter, warmth and happiness. That's what Spring Fever was all about!**Before diving into this drama, you need to understand that this is a silly romcom that doesn't need you to seriously "think" about the situations. You watch and don't judge.
Spring Fever tells the story of a small town where Yoon Bom, the homeroom teacher of Seon Han Gyeol, finds herself in odd situations with his uncle Seon Jae Gyu. Despite their rough first impression, both of them got attracted to each other because of their unexpected charm, unwavering devotion, and a deep consideration for others.
It was very simple, story wise, but it was the chemistry and chaotic perspective of such scenarios and how differently they handled everything made it more funny. All the actors, including the leads and the supporting characters, were fabulous. They made every antic light and fun to watch. But only one thing, I didn't like the nephew and his crush. Everytime they met, I found myself rolling my eyes and an strong urge to skip their scenes. NGL they were annoying me for several reasons so I had to skip some of their scenes (I know they are teenagers and immature but still). Bom Sik, the lil doggo is the star of the show. Loved how he adopted two humans instantly on spot, who'd fight for him, literally lol.
The shooting destination was Pochang village and the cinematography of the blissful serene life was beautifully shot. The OSTs added a layer of happy bubbles to the characters and the situations, which made it even more lighthearted.
Personally, it was a stress-buster drama for me. It doesn't require the brain to think. You watch, you enjoy and be illogical. Don't over-complicate this thinking about the logic and reasons. There was not a single episode which was boring or something you want to skip. It was silly, fluffy and funny as hell throughout and I loved it because of that!
Overall, if you are looking for something light, fun and not overly complicated then this is the drama that can lift your mood in an instant.
P.S: 8 for the whole drama and +0.5 for Ahn Bo Hyun for being extra hottie 🙈❤️🔥

Full of love and fun ღ˘‿˘ற
Oh,My Venus is one of my rewatch favorites. 🤗Pure kdrama excellence in dialing up the heat. Those exercise sessions? Oh.My.Goodness. Their playfulness in the bedroom is why kdrama romcoms are the peak.
OMV is an adult drama with depth. It’s a romcom for sure but it deals with some harder issues also.
For me it stands the test of time with each character fully realized. We meet them, like most of them, and have the opportunity to get to know each as individuals. Even minor characters are fleshed out with a purpose in the story.
The caring family vibe makes this show a pleasure. They love each other so we love them.
So Ji Sub is so handsome and such a great ML. His mentor/father figure persona with the young men is captivating.
Henry Lau is such an energetic cutie and so fun to watch.
And let’s talk about Sung Hoon for a minute. What an intense back story for his character and the way he comes to trust Kim Young-Ho. He’ll go on to be the ML in Perfect Marriage Revenge.
And Shin Min-a is such lovely actress. She always seems so comfortable in her being. Just looking at her face makes me smile.
For context some of my other 10’s for rewatch are—
Guardian: The lonely and Great God (Gong Yoo)
Her Private Life (Kim Jae-Wook)
Crazy Love (Kim Jae-Wook)
Because This is My First Life
King the Land
My Dearest (Namkoong Min)
Perfect Marriage Revenge (Sung Hoon)
Sometimes I will rewatch a favorite drama start to finish if its been awhile, but more often I just pick an episode or two to revisit old friends.
Enjoy.💞

Ahn Bo-hyun continues to prove he has incredible range; he shifts from a commanding presence to tenderness without it ever feeling forced, achieving a perfect balance between physical toughness and a heart-wrenching vulnerability. Honestly, I hope to see him in many more dramas. Lee Joo-bin finally takes on a role where she can truly shine. Her performance is elegant yet nuanced; she isn't your typical damsel in distress, and I loved seeing a woman who knew how to handle her own situation.
The chemistry between them is simply delightful. It’s the kind of slow-burn connection that feels real, far from the basic "love at first sight" tropes. In the end, Spring Fever is a reminder not to judge a K-drama by its poster. Beneath the spring aesthetic, there’s a story with much more weight and honesty than it seems. It exceeded my prejudices, and I’m sure it will yours too.
