Came for Winwin stayed for Wu Zhen
This took me a little while to get through but overall, I really liked it! There were definitely some parts that felt a little slow or dragged out but not too much where it made the show unwatchable. I loved the characters, especially Wu Zhen! The costuming in these series is always so amazing! All the characters had great chemistry together as well! The CGI wasn't too bad either! Not going to lie I watched this for WinWin for him to be in it for all of maybe 10 minutes lol

Can't Finish
And I will be concluding my watch of Interminable here. I really tried to push through, mostly because I genuinely think the leads have strong chemistry and the premise itself isn’t uninteresting. But the execution drags on for an astronomically long time, and at this point, there’s simply nothing keeping me seated.Let’s Dive In.
This series does offer a unique story. The lead actors share great chemistry, and the supporting cast includes performers I’ve enjoyed in past projects. Still, I can’t keep pretending I’m having a good time. I struggled to drop this earlier because I kept telling myself, No, it’ll get better. Or, No, Billy looks too beautiful without a shirt to quit now. But the truth is, there is not a single thing happening in this drama that makes me want to continue.
The plot is painfully tedious. More than once, I watched episodes at 2x speed or skimmed scenes just to catch the plot points, and even then, I never felt lost. That alone says a lot. Kaewta looks incredible as the Likay dancer, and yes, Babe with long hair is absolutely the man of my dreams. But Kaewta in the present timeline is dull and perpetually confused. Yai is one-dimensional and equally unengaging. Even with supporting characters played by actors I genuinely like (Heng and Looknam), the overall experience remains… boring.
The romance is slow, which I usually enjoy, but this is too slow. It feels like the story is told in a way that may resonate more with Thai audiences than international viewers, and unfortunately, that disconnect made it harder for me to stay invested.
BillyBabe, I’m still rooting for you. I truly hope there’s a future series of yours that I’ll be able to finish from start to end. Sigh...
Ratings:
Story: 4/10 - so so incredibly boring. Some good moments here and there, but this story is just *bleh*. Thank you Billy for the scenes with your shirt off, it was desperately needed.
Acting: 7/10 - I think Babe does good with switching between both his past and present characters, but I'm not impressed by anyone else.
Music: 5/10 - didn't distract me.
Recommendation Value: 2/10 - If you enjoy period dramas, sure, but just know this moves at a glacier-pace.

I wouldn't mind being stuck somewhere with these men
Loved it all except the ending. It felt rushed and unsatisfying. I wish we got to see what all the characters were up to after they escaped and not just the main two since we got to know and love the other characters as well. Still liked this season though and was happy it got a second season. Totally fell in love with Kim Jihoon from this series too!Was this review helpful to you?

So underrated!
I watched it for Park Hae-Soo to be honest but really liked it! This is an underrated series in my opinion. I think the characters and the way they went about solving problems were really interesting. The actors all did an incredible job as well, especially Hae-Soo but I could be biased there. Loved that it got a season two!Was this review helpful to you?
Weird and confusing
This is a very interesting story. It leaves you confused and unsure how to feel but it's an interesting concept. For it being Korean, I think it's pretty mature BL wise. It's very strange and I had to sit with it to try to figure out the story. Just like the characters, I was also confused what was reality and what was the play. Was this review helpful to you?
I binged this in under 3 days
I finished this show in three days because of how much I was enjoying it. I loved it so much! The characters were all interesting. The storyline moved at a good pace, especially for being 50 episodes. I loved this and would totally rewatch (if Netflix didn't take it off)! This is also the show that introduced me to Dylan Wang and now I've watched him in other things because of it! It's cringe and cheesy in some moments but I don't mind at all.Was this review helpful to you?
Very bloody and I love it
I LOVED THIS! I love that they didn't hold back on the violence at all! Super bloody and gory which is what I was hoping for, and it didn't disappoint. Loved the main character so much and enjoyed seeing him get his revenge on everyone. I think the story wrapped up really well. I think it was the perfect length too.Was this review helpful to you?
This show is so beautiful
I watched this for Cha Woo-min to be honest, but it was a fun watch overall! It was nice seeing Woo-min play a good guy for once because it's only happened a couple times. The characters were all very likeable and enjoyable to watch! I think it's a great slice of life type of show. You can tell from the camera work that the people who made this series really enjoy cinema. Loved how beautiful this show was!Was this review helpful to you?
This is slept on!
LOVED THIS! Loved the story of this and the main character! I like that it kept you guessing on what was going to happen next! Such a good psychological series! This is one of those shows that I wish got more attention. I randomly came a crossed it one day and am so glad I did! These type of shows in Thailand I think are always slept on and deserve more attention! Highly recommend! Some scenes may be triggering to some people FYI!

Are all assassins this hot?
Loved so many of the actors in this!! The acting was incredible from everyone! The action scenes were fun to watch and had such cool choreography.I really liked the story in this, but some parts almost felt like it needed to be more in a tv show than movie so it could be fleshed out more. Some things felt a little rushed because of that. I think this could've been a really cool show to be honest, but I think it still worked well in movie form.

Support NouerA!
Loved this survival show! I watched it as it was airing and so happy I did! A lot of my favorites made it into the final group as well, so I was happy about that. Some didn't and I hope they get to try again someday if that's what they like. I think the music choices were pretty good for this show too! We got to see a bit about the contestant's personality wise, but I still wish we got to see more. I wish we knew their ages while it was airing too. Can't wait to see all that NouerA gets to accomplish in the future! Was this review helpful to you?

12 mins of emotional chaos
this went from an acting interview to holding hands to dancing in the park to “never abandon me“ to walking alone in the rain to re-watching the interview video clip to tears and abandonment.in some ways it’s well done. it says a lot in those 12 mins. and conveys a wide range of emotions in such a small time frame.
I did find the score to be a bit distracting, but I understand the use of the music to help carry the emotions through. I found in particular, the funeral music showed the depth of Jay’s heartbreak.
the note at the end to tell us what a rat imir turned out to be explained it all very neatly.

So much puppy love
This story was really cute. I liked how sweet some of the moments were between the main two, especially the confession. I like a few of the side characters as well. I will say there is a lot of characters, definitely could've cut down the cast...by a lot. A very cute and simple high school love series with lots of teen drama. Was this review helpful to you?

Addictive AF!
This drama felt like watching the sun glow hot in the afternoon, then watching it set as a gust of cold air takes over. Eventually, the clouds disperse, the moon rises with stars shining brightly, and we end off with a quiet sunrise.------Overall impression------
This drama left me feeling all the shades of love. First love, longing love, true love, fated love, last love, passionate love, friendship love, etc.
From the beginning, the tone of the story felt different from all of the C-dramas I have watched. Immediately, from the colour grading, acting, relationships between characters, and even the decision to set the story in Thailand first, it felt uniquely different. I was skeptical of the dynamic between the leads due to them being “siblings,” but almost right away the drama assured me that although the characters remembered each other as brother and sister, that memory was from over ten years ago.
As much as the main leads cling to that past relationship, they cannot help but acknowledge that they are now essentially strangers getting to know each other little by little. In truth, they are simply a man and a woman falling for each other.
By the end, I felt that the story tried its best to keep the pacing intact. There were definitely creative choices that could have been better in terms of what to cut and what to keep. I do not know much about Chinese censorship standards, so I will leave it at that. Still, I am grateful to the editor, director, actors, and producer for achieving something cohesive and genuinely sweet.
-------Emotional impact---------
The moments that affected me the most were:
1. When Mumu found out about ZhaoZhao’s underground boxing match. Her facial expression genuinely surprised me and pulled me in.
2. Episode 15, and honestly every kiss scene after that.
4. ZhaoZhao’s accident and Mumu’s desperation to know whether he was okay.
5. Sad and serious scenes like ZhaoZhao and his mother-in-law
The ending felt satisfying, but I still wanted more. I needed extra scenes of their post-marriage life.
------Main couple and romance-------
The chemistry between the main leads is hard to describe. It felt like I needed to give them privacy while secretly peeking at them. It was like watching a real couple being sweet, but instead of feeling annoyed, I felt like Cupid appreciating his own work.
------Character development--------
The main characters played their parts well. This is something viewers have mixed opinions on, especially regarding Esther’s portrayal of 19 to 20-year-old Mumu. Personally, I understood her approach. Mumu was spoiled by her mother growing up, and while some viewers disliked her voice, that feels more like personal preference than an acting critique.
Her higher-pitched, small voice was used to show Mumu’s cunning side, how she uses cuteness to get ZhaoZhao and others to accommodate her. That said, there is room for refinement. Referencing performances by actors like Park Bo-young or Shin Eun-soo could have helped shape this portrayal further.
Mumu grew up accustomed to having things done for her, which explains her dependency. Over time, we see her become more independent, though her life still centers around ZhaoZhao. Her dream of astronomy was once ZhaoZhao’s dream, and she rejected many potential partners because of him.
ZhaoZhao’s character has more depth and is more thoroughly explored. His decisions toward Mumu are driven by his sense of “a man’s dignity” and the high standards he stubbornly upholds. What makes his arc satisfying is his gradual realization that it is okay to loosen that grip, to be vulnerable, and to let Mumu choose him even if he is not the “perfect” man he wants to be.
The supporting characters are not treated as accessories. San Lai, in particular, stands out as the true big brother of the story.
------Plot and pacing------
I have not read the original novel, so I cannot judge the adaptation fully. However, the editing does have issues. Some scenes could have been easily shortened to make space for others that were cut. For example, the scene where ZhaoZhao teaches San Lai how to drive was far too long and could have been reduced to a minute.
The climactic accident would have benefited from more tension in the scenes leading up to it. Showing more of the underground crime world could have increased the impact, though I understand this is not that kind of drama.
-------Themes and meaning------
I loved the consistent use of sun and moon symbolism. It made the romance feel more intentional and poetic. Ultimately, the story emphasizes that they are both human beings making a conscious choice to be together.
-------Production and atmosphere------
The cinematography was excellent. I was initially skeptical due to the production changes, but the final result deserves praise. Thailand was captured beautifully, and the contrast with China and Vancouver was handled thoughtfully, making each place feel distinct and well-represented.
-------Comparison and context-------
This drama did not feel like a typical C-drama. It felt slightly inspired by Wong Kar-wai films, mixed with 2000s Korean romantic films, and a hint of Taiwanese cinema.
-------Personal reflection-------
This drama felt like a gift to end 2025. It was blissful, heartfelt, and genuinely lovely to experience~

*Side note: Some viewers may dislike Esther’s voice, but it is something she grew up with and is part of the persona she shares with her fans. Disliking it is fine, but hurting or shaming someone over something that was never meant to cater to you is unjustifiable.
