Want a Cute and Fluffy romance with JimmySea? YES! Everything else is a big disappointment.
If you are like me, you want to see JimmySea again after their amazing performances in “Last Twilight”, right? You read the synopsis and it sounded interesting, especially, if you are a fan of fortune telling and tarot card reading. Well, you won’t be disappointed if you want to see JimmySea in a cute and fluffy romance. They deliver and you will not stop smiling. But other than their lovely romance, everything else is quite a disappointment. It’s unbelievable that “Last Twilight” has a 8.4 MDL rating and “My Magic Prophecy” has 8.7.I was forewarned and I adjusted my expectations of “My Magic Prophecy”. I went into this looking for a fluffy romance, and I got it. Jimmy and Sea are adorable and sweet and everything that I am looking for in my romantic mood. They are adorable with their natural hair, and super handsome with their hair gelled, and especially Jimmy in a nice shirt and trousers. Honestly, their romantic journey is quite predictable and you’ve seen all this in other dramas. But that doesn’t dampen my excitement because I really want to see them in a light and cute drama. Just give me all the sugar! Their chemistry is great but not as special as in “Last Twilight” where you feel all types of emotions. There are plenty of kisses and some fan service, of course. The interview at the end of the drama is so cute and fun. JimmySea exudes playfulness and happiness, and you can see how comfortable they are with each other.
Now, what if you are not looking for a cute and fluffy romance? You actually want a good plot about fortune telling and tarot card reading? Well, I am afraid, my friend, that you will be disappointed. It started off interesting with the visions and the threat of life-threatening events. But after that, they all become plot devices for the romance.
What about the rest of the plot? A disappointing hot mess. With only 10 episodes, and probably 80% of the time is spent on the cute and fluffy romance, there’s just not enough time to execute a proper plot or development of a secondary romance. What I would have done is to focus on In’s healing process from losing his family and Thap’s life-threatening events and betrayal (before and after). I would have cut the hospitalization of the board member and the father/son side plot.
The secondary romance has so much potential to be good. Unfortunately, the full romance is boiled down to a couple flashbacks and a few dialogs. The drama should have started telling us their backstory sooner. Give us more of the school days to build a solid foundation. Then give us more of them reuniting, and stronger development from awkwardness, reconciliation, and falling in love again. Even though the actors aren’t great, their story could have been more fun if written well.
I was surprised to see First and Junior in this drama. They are both excellent actors, but I felt that they are underutilized, especially for First. If the drama has focused more on his friendship with Jimmy/Thap and First/Kan, “My Magic Prophecy” would be so much more interesting.
Would I recommend this? Only if you want to see JimmySea in a cute and fluffy romance. Otherwise, I recommend you pass on this. I hope Jimmy and Sea would reunite again in the future with a better written and executed drama that also has an amazing romance.

Disguised
Why are these drama show casting female characters dressed as males. It's so obvious because they sound and look female. Especially here. Her chest bindings fail because she's has significant endowment in the chest area no matter the angle her chest protrudes and she talks girlie.Kind of takes away from the suspense.

Kim Hee Won + Jung Seo + Jun Ji Hyun + Kang Don Won = WOW!
This drama delivered what it promised. The main director delivered. The screenwriter delivered. The actors delivered. It is a must-watch if you like fast-paced political thrillers. Plus, there is a very healthy helping of romance. The drama felt like a movie. In fact, Both the main director, Kim Hee Won (Vincenzo, Little Women, QoT, Soundtrack 1 and Soundtrack 2) and the screenwriter Jung Seo Kyung (Little Women, Decision to Leave, The Handmaiden) said in a recent interview that “We created this series as if we were making a long movie.”Tempest reminded me a bit of their work together on the drama Little Women, with all the intricate plot points, easter eggs, puzzles, secrets, lies, and conspiracies. Little Women ended with everything explained, all the t’s crossed and all the i’s dotted. So did Tempest.
That said, Tempest did leave you with one huge question re Kang Don Won’s character Paik Sanho. But I like the question and my answers to it. I concur with what another MDLer said: “I don't mind the open ending, and I don't need a second season. It honestly suited this drama.”
Re the healthy helping of romance, Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Don Won reinvented the searing slow burn. Their shared looks were on fire. And I loved that there was obvious, actual sex.
And more than anything else, this drama taught me to pay serious attention to the director(s) and screenwriter(s). The past work of directors and screenwriters provides a key variable in the algebraic equation (composed of many variables) that is represented in the question “Should I watch this drama or not?”
P.S. Seo Munju for President!

Terrible
Dreary cinematographyDirection is awful
The director is trying to make it artsy but it just doesn’t work.
Music awful
Too many plot holes
None of the characters are likeable. They are all cold and do not communicate.
The director/writers have manage to make us root for no one.
The supposedly clever characters are all poor judge of characters and make silly decisions.
How on earth did the characters get so far ahead in life?
No familial relationship between parents and children.
Secretary plastic surgery is too distracting.
Could be better
This is a car crash drama where is so terrible that you will
Watch it in the hope that it will turn a corner.
We are 4 episodes into a 12 episode run and it still struggling.

I'm someone who waits for a kdrama to finish before i watch it because i hate suspense. The drama, was it worth the wait?. Yes it was.
Jun ji hyun is whoever she thinks she is.
Everything was necessary to the plot, from the drama, to the chemistry between the two main leads to the twist and suspense.
While about the political controversy, people love to read unnecessary meaning to things. This drama is just a fiction and should be regarded as such.
In as much as the drama was short, all in all its a good one. I laughed, cried, cringed and felt second hand embarrassments but i enjoyed every bit of it.

Epic bromance
My favorite part was the bromance between the two main leads. You could really feel that they deeply cared about each other. In general, this drama is a bromance drama, there is no romance, but it actually doesn't need any. If you like dramas like Blood of Youth, give this one a try. Aside of that I also loved seeing the growth of Jiang throughout the drama. This drama is also on Youtube.

Can't count how many times I've rewatched this show.
I love this series so much! There are three parts, each focusing on a different couple, but everything is intertwined. All the actors in this series did such an amazing job. I didn't know any of the actors except Force and Book, which is why I originally wanted to watch this series, and ended up in love with all of them! The acting was great, the comedy was awesome, I even loved the sound effects. lolSpoilers.....
Arc and Arm: Their story was the first part of the series, episode 1-8, which tells how they met and what they thought of each other and how their relationship progressed. At first, honestly, I did not really like Arc or their story much. I was bummed because like I said, I watched it for Force and Book. Arc is an a hole most of the time to Arm, but apparently that is his 'love language'. Kind of like pulling a girls pigtails because the boy likes her. He is mean and aggressive and pretty much talks down to Arm at the beginning. Throughout the series though I grew to love Arc. He is subtle in his hilarity! Arm is just as strong willed and spiteful and doesn't take much of Arc's crap and even deals some of his own. They both played their characters well. There wasn't a lot of drama or the 'third' wheel coming in to cause jealousy and miscommunication. I also loved that after their 8 episodes, we still get to see them as background characters and their progression in life. Force and Book were great together as always and seeing them in this really healed my soul after watching the craptasiticness that was Only Friends.
In episodes 1-8 we also see the progression of the relationship between Pond (Arc's friend) and Sand (Arm's friend). I didn't spend a lot of time on this couple, but they were sweet and cut and Pond was patient and determined. Sand was kind of clueless but adorable. We get to see them throughout the whole series and how their relationship is going as they go through college and graduation.
Yotha and Gun: Their story is in the second part of the series, episodes 9-16, which focuses on them learning to live together as roommates, growing into sort of friends, and then into romantic relationship. Yotha was very hard to like. He was not nice to anyone, not even his brothers. He grows on you....slowly. Out of the three main focused relationships, theirs had the most angst and frustration. Yotha played around with Gun's feeling, imo. I really didn't like the way he would get Gun's hopes up just to dash them because he was having a bad day or just didn't want to communicate. I also really did not like that they had Yotha kiss his ex when Gun was present and then proceed to pretend like nothing happened and never apologized or really even explained why he did it. Then proceeds to string Gun along until he makes up his mind if he can learn to 'love' or not, something that stems from his mom's abandonment of him when he was young and then War basically having him believe he didn't know what love was. You end up loving Yotha, but he really had to work on it. I really loved Santa's portrait of Gun. He was hilarious and a little turd to his friends. He conveyed so much with his face. When he's happy and mean it's great. When he's heartbroken and scared it's horrible. Him and Perth worked really well together. Gun and Arm together is one of my favorite moments of the series! lol
War and Kloa: Was is Yotha's ex and during the 9-16 episodes they are the side couple. I really wasn't interested in their story much. From what I gather, because I skipped a lot of it. Kloa is a hot head that likes to fight and is extremely jealous of Yotha, because War babies him due to his guilt of breaking up with him. So their growth is Kloa learning to control his anger and talk it out with War. And War learns to put Kloa before Yotha and treat him like an actual boyfriend. I love Aou and Boom and they did great, I just didn't find their characters very interesting.
As with the Arm and Arc we get to see both couples continue to grow and develop over the culmination of the series.
Faifa and Wine - There story is the third (and final) main story of the series, episodes 17-24. I have to say that these two were by far my favorite! Faifa in general was the best character. Junior played him to perfection! I could watch a whole series of just Faifa's shenanigans. There story actually starts at the beginning of the series where they meet for the first time. Then they meet a few times in the second story. And finally we get to focus on them in their story. Wine is heart broken and in the closet because he's ashamed of being gay. Faifa is a yes man because he doesn't want to hurt anyone by rejecting them, because like his brother Yotha, he was also abandoned my his mother at a later age and thought the only way people would love him was if he was doing things for them to make them happy. Wine helps him by taking care of him and putting him first and not asking for anything in return. He helps him slowly become ok with telling people no. They communicated everything to each other and it was refreshing!
I can not handle Faifa and Gun's relationship. They are so funny. I would love to see more of them and the 'fighting' they do. All the side characters were awesome! They all had a part to play and none of them felt like 'fillers'. They all bought something to the series. The last few episodes were a nice way to close out the series with everyone working together to help Kloa propose to War. It was cute and fluffy and made you do that sigh when you're happy for the characters. Over all I really really love this series. I wish they would continue it with new couples and cameo's or guest appearances from these characters. I definitely recommend if you want light, funny, with a smidge of drama about a bunch of college friends growing up and falling in love.

A sci-fi thriller that is bingeworthy and a great ride!
Möbius is a very good sci-fi thriller. It has it all: superb acting, very good direction and high quality sets, locations and atmosphere. Even the OST was appropriate. Perhaps this is the result of only 16 episodes - quality can be maintained throughout and the budget spent on things that matter. The elements I liked very much included the loyalty of BJT’s team, the relationship between the OTP - understated and very good, the concept of a five day time loop and the RAN technology used. I also liked that the two male leads were evenly matched.
My only real criticism was the manic acting at times by the main antagonist and his mentor. Both are very good characters in their own right but perhaps too over the top at key moments - especially the ones that repeat over and over. Also, I didn’t enjoy some of the over the top emotional scenes by some of BJT’s team went on for too long - however, this is the hallmark of many CDramas.
At the end of the day, why would BJT do another time loop drama? Well, because Mobius was well written and had a superb cast. It would seem Season 2 is on the cards.

Teacher-student relationship? It's not wrong; it's cruel and predatory behaviour. I can't get over the fact that no one around the student thought this relationship was a problem. Her friend was obsessed with another teacher. Let's not glorify the relationship between teacher and student. A big age gap in a "relationship" at that age is really wrong.
Even after watching this film four months ago, I'm still disgusted by the plot. Maybe this type of movie isn't for me, but I don't think anyone should think of it as a romantic story.

Didn't expect to love it this much
As many other reviewers said, characters are very flawed, this is not your fluffy BL, its toxic. But i really loved it. Plot is quite unique, at least i havent seen this plot point before. Actors are really good. Spoiler is that this show will make you cry because towards the end it get super sad. Although Ming wasn't a great guy i did feel sorry for him in the end and i cried a lot for him/ with him.Joe took way too long to admit he's back (to ming, sol and wun) which was a bit frustrating because pretty much everyone realised it on their own and he still wouldnt admit it.

For over a year now, I've been struggling to get involved enough to watch a drama until the end. But this is what I needed. Great actors, music, chemistry between main characters, emotions, secrets and plot twists... The way this drama was shot made it even more suspenseful. The colours created a dark atmosphere for the events depicted in the drama. While watching, I felt a whole range of emotions, from unimaginable sadness to joy and warmth in my heart. Throughout the entire drama, you could feel the tension between the characters caused by the possibility of war.I don't mind the open ending, and I don't need a second season. It honestly suited this drama. The gate was opened before the explosion, so I believe San Ho survived and will return to Mun Ju after the election. He wouldn't have left her, but at the same time, going to prison doesn't fit his character.

The story follows Kim Ji-yong (played by Nam Joo-hyuk), a brilliant model student at the National Police University. By day, he learns to uphold the law; by night, he becomes the masked “Vigilante”, a ruthless avenger who punishes repeat offenders and criminals who have received absurdly light sentences. His motivation stems from childhood trauma: witnessing his mother’s death at the hands of a thug who barely faced any punishment.
The fight scenes are dark, intense, and realistic, eschewing overly polished choreography. Every punch, kick, and chase feels brutal, heightening the raw energy of the thriller.
With just 8 episodes, the series moves at breakneck speed. There’s no filler. The mystery unfolds quickly, and the tension builds with a constant sense of urgency.
Nam Joo-hyuk delivers one of his best performances, channeling his character’s suppressed rage and inner duality. The supporting cast also shines: Yoo Ji-tae is commanding as the detective seeking justice within the law, while Lee Joon-hyuk steals scenes with his eccentric and complex character.
Vigilante is a must-watch for fans of the genre. It’s a dark, adrenaline-fueled drama with a core theme that resonates with public frustration over judicial failures. If you’re looking for a K-drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat and make you question what “justice” truly means, this is not to be missed.
