it was dark, unique, addictive, and crazy, but also beautiful and sweet.

"This is one of the most incredible series I’ve ever watched. From the very first episode, you can tell the characters are hiding something, but I never expected these revelations. This show is undoubtedly insane, yet absolutely amazing.

In the first episode, I was so excited to find a new Chinese BL series; I had been looking forward to it so much that I binged the entire thing in a single day. It took me on a wild emotional rollercoaster. I always recommend Chinese dramas to my friends because of the unique beauty and complexity they offer.

This series had it all: it was dark, unique, addictive, and crazy, but also beautiful and sweet. I lost count of how many times I called the main character 'psycho,' but that’s exactly why I loved the show—even with all its darkness.

I love how it presents a wide range of emotions—fear, anxiety, regret, and hope. Every single feeling was perfectly conveyed by the actors. Everything in this story required a long journey and a fight; the characters fought for their relationship, struggled with lies, and battled for atonement and forgiveness. Nothing came easy; everything was complex.

I am definitely going to rewatch this a few more times. Until then, I’ll be praying for more masterpieces as crazy as this one."

Not Letting Go, Even as They Pull Away~

I really liked this drama—the softness of the characters and the way they care for one another is genuinely sweet.

I do wish the second lead couple had a liiiittle more screen time, though. They were clearly smitten with each other, and I wanted to see more of that.

I also appreciated how the story showed Minato’s insecurities, while still portraying how he tries to face and manage them. Even when Minato says he’s trying to understand his feelings, he still needs time—and that feels very real. The people around him are supportive, and I especially loved how Shizuma keeps gently pulling Minato closer whenever Minato tries to push him away with jokes, afraid of getting too attached.

Overall, I think the character development was great. Minato’s anxiety resurfaces when they return to his hometown, but he manages to work through it as his feelings for Shizuma continue to grow.

Dose of sunshine but they did phuwin dirty

As a series this is outstanding!
Didnt even realise over the top cringey dialogues are the ones missing in my life....
This became one of my comfort bl series that i can always come back to...
Pond is joy, he delivered everyhing in a very adorkable way! Hers is soo much that can go wrong wih his character if not potreyed properly, he oushined everyone...
Phuwin is loveee, he looked veryyy handomely beauiful in a very dangerous way. No wonder thee was smitten from their first meeting.. who can blame him... hes soo caring full of love in every bone of his body.. he might seem boring in first couple of days of knowing him but he is the perfect partner in a long run...
BUT the series did phuwin dirty..thers soo much that can be explored within his character but the focal point was always on thee..i ddint feel the equality which was supposed be present...all the green flag points from novel wore moved to thee... for eg it was peach who wanted to adopt the twins and conveyed that to thee before going in further into relationship keeping everything transparent what he would be getting into...even gmmtv didnt give enough credit nor the screentime he deserved...
Mokh deserves a raise during the run time of series and promotion as romes bf after the end! What not has done for theepeach?? Est was super!!

Overall finally found another series to go back to when depressed or looking for couple of laughs...

It’s a good story and acted well by ZJM and ZLH. One of the things I like about this drama is how Yintao was so loved unconditionally by her parents which made her a sweet, fearless and compassionate person. As for Qiaosi’s story, though he went through so much disappointments in life, lucky him there’s always Yintao who loved him unconditionally making him overcome his insecurities and able to love Yintao in return the way as she deserves to be loved.

If you need a serotonin boost after a shitty day/week/whatever, this is your show

First and foremost, this is a thai show made by thai people geared towards a thai audience. If you see interfans complaining about it's "cringiness" or their inability to completely get on board or understand certain references, that's why. Now this does not mean you cannot enjoy the show as an interfan, an example being myself.

This show brought me immeasurable joy during the 10 weeks that it aired. The casting was perfect. There are no other actors I could imagine as Thee or Peach or anyone else. Our main couple is almost sickeningly sweet, the progression of their relationship was so beautiful and you could feel their love through the screen, which is everything you'd want in a main couple, so props to Pond and Phuwin for their amazing chemistry and their wonderful acting. You need to turn your brain off and have a little whimsy in your heart to enjoy this show. You can feel the love and effort that went into this project and if you want a serotonin boost after a particularly shitty day, you've found your show.

Now, this show isn't without it’s faults. It suffered during the last two episodes due to the 10 episode cap. A lot of issues could have been expanded on or explained better or written off better if they had more episodes (i found one of the side couples particularly frustrating and pointless but i think it also was a result of the strict cp system) . Due to this the final two episodes felt quite rushed, though I was still happy with our main couple.

All in all, this very quickly became one of my favourite shows gmmtv has ever put out.

For Revenge plot was okay but the romance was too weak.

I watched this drama in last December and the drama was taken down so fast on YT. Glad i have mood to write the review now.

The reborn plot was actually engaging but the romance between Chen Minghao and Lu Lulu is rather sudden and their chemistry are too weak.

After being reborn, FL learns about her destiny and fights against a time-traveling woman (SFL), scumbag ex husband (SML), and concubine (2SFL) to break free from the control of fate. In the end, she helps the ML secure his throne.
First scene focus on domestic intrigue, the middle on court politics, and the later on palace intrigue.

However, the details are not explained very well. In the early domestic intrigue, FL uses many methods, while SFL is like a cockroach, constantly causing trouble to FL.

ML's initial possessiveness after sleeping with the FL is unclear, as he suddenly falls in love without any foreshadowing or backstory everything is just happen suddenly. ML appearance is not too many unlike the antagonists, it feels he is just guest star in this drama.

Still decent to watch if you ignore romance aspect and focused on revenge plot.

Great balance

This felt very like the time period it was set in.
Detective series of the 50s had a similar vibe, with characters having the same energy, nuances and a humour that was often tongue-in-cheek. There's a definite hero here.
It was OTT at times, but that oddly fit rather than hindered.
I liked the different stories and the central theme, which was raw and pretty emotional.
One I'll happily watch again.

Amazing chemistry , good dark comedy

First drama I've binge watched fully in about 2 years.
I was pressing play next episode without even thinking .
The premise is interesting , romance with dark comedy . Very hong sisters .
The female lead's story was surprising , specially that there was no hint in the trailer .
The actors , the chemistry , the cinematography , the osts (finally a good ost ensemble in a long time now) are top notch.
The female lead's problem should have been better handled in the later half of the episodes .

Kept me interested.

Nov/Dec 2025
Some very funny moments, in the early episodes especially, but as the story moves on, there are much darker elements.
I found it easy to watch and stick with.
I liked the cast a lot ~ including supporting and didn't feel there were any irritatingly weak or stupid characters ~ though some were very naive.
I didn't like the ending, which felt rushed and, in many ways, quite a big cop-out. What followed a tense and distressing culmination, was a too light and half-hearted finale.
I also thought that the character of said His Majesty, was far from sweet or romantic; yes he changed on falling in love, but he was a maniacal, controlling tyrant before, who had a lot to make up for. That was readily glossed over, which didn't fit a lot of the FL character's principles, I felt.

Entertaining to watch !

This is easily Luo YunXi’s best drama in terms of camera work and cinematography. The visuals have a Netflix-style, Western crime vibe with beautiful framing, color aesthetics, and a strong crime-drama mood.

I enjoyed all six cases, especially the side cases. My favorite is Li Xuting’s Spider Cocoon Murder just like Luo Yunxi said, the moment you suspect someone, they’re already dead 🤣

Let's be real here

I didn’t think I'd be saying this. I really enjoyed it. Pond and Phuwin and by extension Gmmtv had gotten to the stage of monotonous productions. Personally, I believe they're more liked for their real life personas and activities than their actions on screen. They're maturing but was their acting catching up. This is as close as it’s gonna get. The character of Thee fits within Pond's acting range, not perfect, but better. Phuwin felt more connected to Peach and it showed. His kissing style, we will just have to accept.

It was funny. Whitty. A bit contrived but not inundated with convulated moments. A mafia boss falling for a poor photographer through the lens of cinema. They delivered with the timely humor and Thee's unorthodox quirky methods were a treat. Peach's flat logical responses perfectly delivered. Est and William's roles, Mok and Rome, fit interestingly within their story and felt like a compliment. Why did their ending feel like a snippet of their real life interractions? Mok shooting down Rome's reach for a kiss, hmmmm. Fun.

Perth and Santa on the other hand got a raw deal. It's as though they started and forgot about Ran and Tawan, then gave the most assine resolution to a serious relevant topic. Jealous rage masked in the guise of love. The stage was already set from episode one by their interractions so why wait until episode nine to resolve with a sad face, a forgiving heart and an invitation to move in. Santa delivered the emotional and sincere. Ran begging Peach for forgiveness after offering his body to Thee to save Tawan was very expertly done. I will say, Perth can act but it's time he moves away from the angry sullen boyfriend roles and reach for more. Same for JJ.

Like every production it's not without flaws but everything else worked in it's favor. The few seconds after The End tied the series concept together as a production of Peach and Thee's love story. Perfect ending.

Perfect The(e) End!

I began watching PondPhuwin dramas last year, and every time I’ve watched one of their dramas, I ended up in tears. They have insane chemistry. This drama was no different. Pond really pulled off the simp role perfectly. I never thought I’d be writing a review for this, but the last episode was something I wish to never forget.
THE SONG, THE PROPOSAL, THE WEDDING I was screaming through all of it! Marn and Mok being adopted by Kian was such a beautiful addition to the story. Mok being fired by Kian so he could finally live a normal life really brought tears to my eyes. He was my favorite character in this drama. He never abandoned Kian and always supported him no matter what.
I still can’t believe I just watched the last episode. My Saturdays might not be as fun anymore, but I’ll definitely be watching their edits nonstop after this.

To me, it really was the perfect The(e) End!
