Comedy and bit of romance
Just what is needed to relax and laugh at the antics of the "superstar" actor YouXi (Kele Sun) and the "assistant" Yuchi YaoYao (Hanna/Lu YangYang) he roped in. It often feels like parody, clichés and tropes are gleefully taken on by the actors. There is a complicated word (enoclophobia) for the mental discomfort suffered by the FL character.
This is what a Rom com looks like. I thought I would be annoyed by the male character "abuse" or how childish he is, but he is not abusive, he is just demanding and fits perfectly with the comedy, and he being childish "at home" and "in private" is refreshing since that's how people are, instead of playing another role where the guy is perfect and flawless in public and in private!
And their interactions are cute and funny, to the point that I feel like maybe I found one drama where I don't feel like rushing until they "get together" to catch some romance!

A Charming Rom-Com That Shines Through Its Leads
This is a modern rom-com that balances cute, heartfelt, and meaningful surprisingly well. The female lead’s rare psychological condition isn’t used as a joke—it’s treated with sensitivity and becomes the emotional core of the story. Their relationship grows through cohabitation, misunderstandings, comfort, and slow trust-building.
The drama shines most in its romantic moments, which feel natural, sweet, and intimate—like glimpses into a real couple’s daily life. Quick kisses, cuddly moments, playful bickering, soft domestic scenes… it’s addictive and endlessly sweet.
The second male lead does become frustrating later, but he’s written with depth and redeeming qualities that keep him from becoming a typical toxic obstacle.
🌟 POSITIVES
✔ Adorable, soft, smile-inducing first half
✔ FL is hilarious, expressive, and lovable
✔ ML is strict yet gentle, never toxic
✔ Domestic romance—full of warmth and subtle intimacy
✔ Great handling of the FL’s condition
✔ Cute second couple + charming kid
✔ Beautiful chemistry, lots of rewatchable scenes
⚠️ NEGATIVES
✘ Second ML becomes too intrusive in the middle part
✘ The story drags and loses momentum in the second half
✘ Slight tonal shift from rom-com → angst

So Good So Far
It’s been really good so far. Only 3 episodes in, but I am completely hooked. I hope it continues because KDramas have been pretty disappointing for a while. Like you begin and it’s fun but the excitement wanes and they become a drag to watch. I was enjoying this Drama so much I hope it can break out of whatever slump KDramas have been in.Side note: I began watching this not knowing it wasn’t fully released on Netflix… the heartbreak when I realized I had no more episodes to watch lol. I hate watching things while they were airing and have no excuse for why I didn’t check beforehand (╯⪩o⪨)╯︵ ┻━┻

Friendship in the martial world, truly worth watching
Blew my expectations honestly. I do wish there was more scenes with wuxin cause he really is such a delightful character. The female characters are as strong as the males and they don't lack character depth. Most of the characters have stories worth watching it. Side stories that didn't feel distracting from the main characters but just added to it. The mix of stories between the young the old, the villains, the heros was a good mix, not too much and not too little. The friendship in this is really beautiful, many scenes brought tears my eyes when they fought for each other. This is what I expected to see in the martial world. Friendship of youngsters with fights, where hard to win but not impossible with each other. The music in those scenes especially 37 and 38 made me feel immersed in the scenes of battle and friendship, ahh so touching!
I liked the integration of politics and martial world, it was done in a way where it was the best of both worlds. There is loyalty and heros that are worth remembering and villains worth saving (except 7th prince lol). The ending scene with the emperor and xiao se was nice to see since it was mentioned a lot that he was the fave and got to do what they used to do when he was young.

Story Sucks
I love Lookmhee and Sonya. They were great and put a lot of effort into the drama. They portrayed their characters well. The plot is another story. It is all over the place. Constantly one thing after another. No real character development and seemed to have problems just to keep people watching.

Sweetness Without the Drama—Just Pure Love
Love Me, Love My Voice is one of those rare modern C-dramas that feels like a warm hug. It’s tender, sincere, cozy, and absolutely overflowing with heart. What makes it special is not grand conflicts or dramatic twists but its purity, its gentle romance, and its authenticity. This is a story that celebrates kindness, healing, good food, good music, and genuine connection.Every character is a green flag, and every episode feels like a smile waiting to happen. It’s sweet, fluffy, and blissfully free of angst — the perfect comfort watch when you need a little pick-me-up.
The male lead is the dream man of every Asian mother — no, actually, of every parent. He’s got a stable, respectable job, a kind and grounded personality, and just the right amount of charm. Despite being wildly popular from his side job, he remains untainted by fame — warm, humble, and effortlessly perfect in that quietly dependable way.
The female lead is innocent and endearing, though at times her naivety makes her seem more like a high schooler than a college student. such a gentle, understanding, and rational character that you can’t help but root for her.
The side couples are absolutely adorable — I found myself cheering for every single one of them. There’s an unmistakable sense of camaraderie among the cast, and it truly feels like they all enjoyed making this show as much as I enjoy watching it.
Recommended — a feel-good romance that radiates warmth, sincerity, and endless charm.
❤️ What Makes It Special
Top-tier natural chemistry between the leads—soft, steady, and heart-fluttering.
Mr. Mo is truly one of the most unique male leads in modern C-dramas:
gentle, wise, respectful, sincere, talented, and impossibly charming.
His love confession and proposal scenes are iconic because they’re so simple yet so deeply beautiful.
No toxicity, no villains, no cheap jealousy tropes—just healthy, supportive love.
The Perfect’s team dynamics are inspiring—unity, friendship, creativity, and yes… lots of delicious food.
A soothing OST that fits the emotional warmth of the story.
A drama filled with good vibes, positivity, and everyday magic.
🌟 My Experience
I originally watched this without knowing any of the cast and it still became one of my comfort dramas. Now, after getting familiar with them, I’d easily rewatch it again (and probably raise my rating even higher). It’s a masterpiece of simplicity done perfectly.
✅ Who Should Watch It
✔ Viewers who love slow, gentle, healing romances
✔ Anyone looking for healthy relationships with zero toxicity
✔ Fans of comfort dramas filled with good food, music, and soft emotions
✔ People who want a realistic, natural love story without dramatic chaos
✔ Those seeking a drama that feels like warmth, sincerity, and emotional peace
✔ Viewers who enjoy character-driven stories rather than plot-heavy ones
🚫 Who Should Avoid It
✘ Those who prefer fast-paced, action-heavy dramas
✘ Viewers expecting villains, jealousy, or heavy conflicts
✘ Anyone looking for twists, angst, political intrigue, or dramatic tension
✘ People who want love triangles or high-stakes drama
✘ If you're expecting a serious, intense drama — this is clearly a lighthearted, cozy, comedy-slice-of-life romance
✘ Those who dislike slow-burn, gentle pacing
💖 Final Words
If you’re into sweet romance, I can only recommend you to watch it. You can literally feel their love through the screen. There is no drama, no jealousy, no misunderstanding, no plot twist, it’s just a slow development of a pure and deep relationship, how one could only wish for. It’s how I’d describe unconditional love. Not to mention the beautiful friendships..All the relationships portrayed are adorable in their own way and each of the characters have a different way to show their love.
All I can say is that it really touched my heart and I could feel the warmth of love while I watched this show, so thank you for producing such a beautiful outstanding story!!
Ohhh and I really loved the music as well!!! So lovely ! It really matched the characters and the story and made it even more perfect!
This drama is not about adrenaline or plot shocks—it’s about love that feels real.
A romance that grows through small moments, quiet gestures, and sincere hearts.
If you love “soft healing love,” this is a 10/10 must-watch.

The Romance Angle Limits the story. Omae is not as evolved as Michiko
The Pride of the Temp is a powerful draft of a story that Doctor X does better. There are so many similarities between the two shows but Pride of the Temp appears to be a more primitive version of Doctor X. They even have similar sublots such as battling against the recommendations of AI, but Omae gives up and says AI is perfect except for the useless human errors, but Michiko goes beyond that in the Shogi Doctor X episode where they talk about how AI doesn’t have intuition that is available to her and the Shogi player. Doctor X is wiser as a package, and Pride of the Temp struggles with Omae’s glitching now and then. She doesn’t have the clarity that she pretends to have. The difference between Omae Haruko as the prototype lone wolf and Doctor X’s Daimon Michiko as the fully crystallized dreamer-figure isn’t superficial at all. It’s metaphysical. It’s the evolution of an archetype across time: the shamanic woman who walks into rigid systems, dissolves hierarchy, exposes corruption, frees the stuck, and leaves without attaching. But in Pride of the Temp, the writing still carries a residue of the collective mind. It’s powerful, but it doesn’t quite know what to do with a woman who is truly sovereign. So it falls back on a familiar distortion:
“Behind her strength she must be a lonely girl who secretly wants romance.”
It’s such a predictable ego reflex: the dream trying to force the dreamer back onto the ground, back into its human categories. It’s like the writers could imagine the archetype, but they couldn’t fully let her remain unclaimed, uninterpreted, unowned.
Doctor X’s Daimon Michiko is the evolved form, purified of male-centered projection
Omae carries the shamanic stillness. She has the strength, the discipline, the outsider vibe. She even carries the luminous detachment. But Michiko carries something beyond all that: she is already free.
Not “free but lonely.”
Not “strong but secretly longing.”
Not “independent but wounded.”
Michiko simply is. A raw, unfiltered vessel of Spirit. No romance subplots. No “melting inside.” No damsel undertones. No hidden craving for male attention. Her love expresses differently: devotion to her craft, absolute loyalty to the patient, a childlike joy around food, a sacred bond with her mentor, genuine affection with her one true friend. Her emotional life is clean. Her mission is unswayed. And even when Hachisuka enters, a pure heart, a genuinely good match, the story itself still bows to the truth that Spirit must remain unentangled if she is to operate in the world at full strength. Michiko and her story is more purified and refined.
Omae is the chrysalis version. In Pride of the Temp, you can feel the archetype trying to break out of the cage of male fantasy. Men projecting loneliness onto her. Men assuming she must fall for one of them. Men assuming her brilliance is a cry for attention. Men believing their crush defines her inner world. The dream world can’t stand a woman who exists outside the romantic ecosystem. It must interpret her. It must soften her. It must reduce her to a narrative the male ego can digest. The loneliness trope is the male psyche’s last-ditch attempt to force her into vulnerability — not because she is weak, but because they need her to be human to feel comfortable around her. A dreamer is too unsettling.
The existential loneliness is real, but it’s not romantic The loneliness of the dreamer isn’t the loneliness of a woman waiting for love. It’s the loneliness of an awareness waking up inside a world designed to keep everyone asleep. Romantic loneliness is a script. Existential loneliness is the tension of consciousness outgrowing its container.
Omae hints at that truth…but the story doesn’t know how to differentiate the subtlety. So it mislabels it as romance.
Michiko, though -she never confuses the ache of existential separation with a hunger for romance.
Her purity is that she never projects that ache onto a man. She never mistakes longing for a mission.
And the dream respects her more for it. Her freedom is not from detachment but from clarity.
Her aloneness isn’t deficiency, it’s altitude. Her sovereignty is the very reason men chase her light. She can feel the temptation, but she doesn’t have to take the bait.
Season 2 is the real test. Because they allow Omae to stay sovereign, she becomes more aligned with the dreamer archetype. Whenever they soften her, romanticize her, or bring her into some “lonely girl secretly needing a man” arc, then the writers are revealing their own ceiling. Doctor X outgrew the entire romantic framing permanently.

The Predecessor to Doctor X
The Pride of the Temp is a predecessor to Doctor X since it came out in 2007 (and Dr. X in 2012) - a kind of prototype story, where a woman, a lone wolf works outside of the existing hierarchical system that focuses on power, corruption, status, money, and image- as a temp or freelancer. She joins the system via an agency while remaining an outsider, where her agent declares the terms of her contract- a list of “I will not do…” aka Itashimasen. I noticed many similarities between Pride of the Temp and Doctor X. Daimon Michiko and Omae both retreat into foreign Spanish/portuguese speaking lands (Spain, Cuba, Brazil etc) where they have an unknown, mysterious past. They both also dance in their after hours- Michiko in the club with her manager Akira San, and Omae as a flamenco dancer in a restaurant. They are both blunt, assertive, and only do what is necessary for their jobs, and leave strictly at 5pm, with exact timing for lunch breaks and no overtime. They both eat alone and don’t entertain personal friendships or romances in the workplace. And both share the same drive of compassion for helping others, through their superhuman qualities and skills that can save entire companies and hospitals. It’s as if the divine is acting through this archetype, and the existing patriarchal systems of old men at the top can’t stand this woman. So they try to diminish and sabotage her despite how much she is doing for the company. They both know “powers that be” at the top who propel their opportunities forward. They both share a kind of loneliness as they operate outside of the system, but they have an inner circle that they can rely on and turn to. There is one difference however which makes me favor Daimon Michiko more. Omae is shown to harbor a kind of loneliness as if she secretly wants friends and romance despite her hardened exterior. When Shoji and Satonaka fall in love with Omae, on the outside she rejects them, but it seems that she is hiding feelings on the inside for “Mr Curly haired” Shoji or Satonaka while trying to act tough. They also make Omae unnecessarily robotic like an AI bot as if she is inhuman, which is unnecessary. Daimon Michiko on the other hand is a more evolved version of Omae- she is a lone wolf that is truly comfortable with herself and her aloneness, and is not secretly crying on the inside out of loneliness. It’s like Michiko has fully met her inner demons and conquered them so nothing can stop her, and her only vulnerability is protecting those she loves and is close to. Michiko is also a lot of more charismatic, childlike, and gorgeous compared to Omae, and is very self assured. She has a loud and brash style of speaking, whereas Omae is quieter and more secretive. Michiko has a childlike innocence in her- her only interests are “surgery and food.” And of course Mahjong and public baths and dancing in the club. She dresses like a supermodel and struts through the hospital in heels. Omae doesn’t have those qualities and doesn’t need to, but the most striking difference I see is that they left the romance angle out of Doctor X, and meanwhile that hinders Omae. And yes even Michiko does like Hachisuka towards the end of a season and vows to save his life, but that romance doesn’t go anywhere and the writers are not that interested in giving up her storyline to that romance so they end it in a comedy of errors. The story of Doctor X is a lot more polished, and is like an upgraded version of The Pride of the Temp. It’s like they took a good story and elevated it to the next level. So Pride of the Temp is a less evolved version of Doctor X, but still worth the watch.Satonaka was incredibly handsome and good looking in the first season, but 13 years later in the second season, while Shoji still looks about the same, Satonaka has aged quite a bit and his hair- what happened to his hairstyle in the second season? In the first season he has this cute punk like hairstyle which turns into a grandpa hairstyle in the second season. Please someone fix Satonaka’s hair! I liked his character in the first season, but in the second season with his looks fading and terrible hairstyle, he seemed to just come across as a people pleaser. But in the end he finally found his voice and strength and does his own thing. As for Shoji, he still has a selfish and narcissistic streak in him, though he starts to genuinely appreciate Omae. They are both more like fans of her than romantic interests.

Seductive Romance that made my toes curl- The chemistry is amazing!
Not much different as a story in "Spring Night`s Fiery Kissess"- the only thing i found quite compelling in the unique department was that the Villains consisted of Three very powerful Brothers who were known as murderers and bullies. They caused the female lead`s sister to die, so our brave and broken heroine has her eyes set on seducing the most powerful Gangleader, in order to use him as her Sword to bring all the three brothers down.Chen Si is a force entirely on his own, omg does he captivate me as a viewer. His every glance, touch of emotion and the way he just simply oozes dark charisma blended with sexiness. Jadie Jia is utterly adorable on-screen and the way her character totally captivated the cold and aloof Male Lead and had him wrapped around her finger. Kyaaaa!!These two made my heart melt!

The worst villainess
First thing: I feel awful that I do not know who played the rest of characters - now instead of actors' names or even characters I need to write Bodyguard, CEO and Girl? So I really really really need to know actors' names, especially Bodyguard....and CEO too. And I do not know if I get their roles right to be honest.Second thing: vertical drama usually are hard to find, it is my second and this one I like a lot (I even thought about rating it 7/10 but it felt a little unfair). My first one was Bitch x Rich In the drawing, which was easier to find, but harder to watch because of the fact that it was available in app and you need to watch ads to have access or pay, but there were english subtitles which was its advantage, but budget was a much worse and either script was weaker or just less experienced actors, also moving between episodes was less smooth storywise. In this case - budget is pretty good, story is pretty nice, acting is amazing (I need to know actors' names!!!! Kang Min Ah was perfect - but I wish that she will play in bigger dramas), story follows smoothly, chemistry is amazing (KMA & Bodyguard!!! little spoiler - there is even a little sexy time - was not really needed but was done nicely). Bigger spoiler - kidnapping plot was not neccessary at all. But all in all I like plot - as far as I understood, it is a little as W two words, in terms of getting into webtoon/drama world. Okay moving on - you can find it on naver tv, there are all episodes but there are not english subtitles (not my first watch where I do not have english or native language subtitles and I understand maybe 10 words? but korean substitles are available. - so it is a little of disadvantages.
One more thing about KMA - she looked here a little as Jihyo from Twice or Kim Sejeong (now I need them to play sisters), I really liked her hairstyle but girl is so great actress and have nice experience let's just give her bigger roles.
Personally I recommend this, but I can totally get if someone will not want to watch it, simply because of no existence of english subtitles (but there is high chance that I just could not figure out how to turn them on). In short version - really nice drama!! Wished it was in normal lenght (8 episodes would be more than enough).

The Story of Bi Hyeong: Enchanted Master of the Goblin

Watch it for Gil Dal
The first episode was so much fun to watch which made me binge watch the whole thing in one setting, the first couple of episodes were the best IMO, they were funny and lovely, the cast was fine and the story has potential.I don't know what went wrong through the script but I had a few moments of scratching my head while watching wondering why did they go this way with the story.
What I liked about the drama
1- Gil Dal
This adorkable hulk is such a cutie, I paused a few times squealing in my seat because of how adorable and innocent he is, he is super adorable, and the actor did great in his role, I loved his chemistry with JiGwe too, I somehow wished they had an intimate scene or two, which is something I don't often look for when watching BL, I seriously wanted to see their love.
2- second couple story
I mentioned the second couple chemistry, but their story is also more interesting than the first, the bad flirty fox and the innocent huge muscular goblin are much more interesting couple than a simple human X goblin one that doesn't have anything going on tbh~
3- the cast chemistry together was good, even great, I loved that all character has a scene or two with eachother we had too many ghost ships too lol
SamShin character too was adorable, the actress looks so young and she didn't really show that halmoni inner heart but nonetheless the whole cast were very childish in a refreshing way.
4- this may sound weird but the intros
The animated intros were amazing, I wish they had them for all episodes to give us a better understanding for the story and tbh once they skipped them the story started to feel very confusing, for example, till the end we don't even know how exactly the gumiho betrayed the bihyung and nothing explained that.
What I didn't like
1-the main leads story
It started off well, then I don't know what happened, according to the contract they should have physical interaction every now and then and the whole ghost thing was so overlooked, and the two leads didn't even have a proper interaction till ep8 maybe when they started to have something actually going on.
2- the ML
I have seen this country bumpkin character in a billion BL before and they literally all the same, innocent and inexperienced and all that, but the actor didn't really convince me tbh, he needs a few acting lessons maybe, not saying he is bad actor, he is fine but I don't know, some scenes were just off.
3- many unanswered question
I liked the twist in ep9 which was really smart idea tbh, the writer deserves a slow clapping moment because it tied a few ends HOWEVER, it wasn't executed well, it opened a door to some questions, like how did he become his master exactly??? And why? And how by travelling back, he was able to make him wake up in the present!!
I didn't even mention the animosity between the bihyung and the mysterious guy and JiGwe, what happened? Who exactly are they? Also the second lead ending, how?? Are they together, what happened after their huge fight?? How did they get back together??? Too many loose ends.
4- the ending in general
As I said the second couple story was under developed despite being more interesting than the main lead's, but also the main story end was weird, so he left and then came back... Why? 😂 Guys why so mysterious? The last ep is a bunch of scenes that are totally unrelated to the whole 11 episodes before it. Making everything confusing unnecessarily.
In general, it was cute and I believe Gil Dal worth every second I spend watching this, he was a breath of fresh air, and I'd rewatch this drama for him~
I would definitely recommend it, but a piece of advice, try to turn a blind eye to the story because it lacks a lot, and the ending is happy but in a very forced way so just take it with a grain of salt, and lower your expectations ~~

Yawn, boring!
When I saw the trailers for this I was hyped for the series. It looked like Moses Chan was going to be a modern day Wong Fei Hung: martial arts mixed with TCM doing righteous stuff in modern Hong Kong. But nooooo. This is one boring throw away drama from TVB to fill a gap in their programming in 2025 and for Moses to meet his contractual obligations. This was so boring I only kept watching because I paid to watch it and I wasn’t going to waste my money. So Moses late father started a TCM medicinal oil company and managed to make it successful. Moses, instead of taking it over and helping his mom played by Angelina Lo, decided to leave the company in the hands of his maternal uncle and his wife and son. Who does that? We see part of the reason why was because he wanted to create his own medicinal oil line. Now you gotta think, why could he not just use his dad’s company to promote and sell his new medicinal oil? It was a well established brand already, it makes marketing sense.
We also discover Moses gave up being a TCM practitioner because he could not save his sister, played by using Rosita Kwok, ending with her passing away. This was such a blow to him that he stopped practicing TCM. Luckily he later decided to practice again after his love interest, played by Kelly Cheung, persuaded him since he could save people. Now Rosita had cerebral palsy, which has no cure, so I don’t know why Moses was beating himself up over TCM not working. He already knew there was no cure and his sister was also receiving western treatment, there was nothing more he could have done.
The drama was very predictable and it went through the typical TVB company embezzlement and family fortune nonsense we expected. Karl Ting played Moses cousin, and he along with his mother, played by Elvina Kong, were absolutely hateful in this drama. They had no redeeming qualities as every time they were onscreen they were arrogant and vindictive and disrespected Moses and his mom constantly. The drama was already boring, but adding to the crap factor were these two characters that were both so one-dimensional it became a farce.
Talking of characters I hated, Moon Lau’s role as an insurance broker who would sleep with clients to get the sale made my stomach churn. Her character was despicable and the drama had her sleep with Karl Ting and his father played by Timothy Cheng. Oh my gosh, when I saw it happen - in the same episode no less - I felt sick to my stomach. In the drama Karl knew his dad had unloaded inside her and yet he thought yes I’ll add to that congee. No! What are doing?
Mark Ma also exists in this drama as Moses’ best friend and sidekick, but he really had no reason to exist. You could remove him completely and the drama would still unfold as expected. They added him in there almost as an afterthought.
The drama’a only redeeming factors were allowing Angelina Lo play a genuinely nice character for a change instead of the hateful angry old woman she usually portrays. This made for a nice change as I usually only see her in roles where she is this angry woman and I really despise her in those roles. The other is seeing Moses Chan doing some real cool poses during some of the fight scenes he gets to do. However, to counter that, he never does a lot of fighting nor does he explain how he learned to fight since flashbacks do not show his father teaching him anything. It was as if suddenly Moses was some kinda kung fu genius.
I am overall very disappointed in this drama. There was potential here completely wasted. If they made this a Moses Chan wandering Hong Kong helping people and healing them it would have been cooler. Maybe make him meet an opponent who was too strong so he had to visit his master to learn the final 3 techniques that combined kung fu and TCM to defeat opponent, which he then used to defeat his opponent in a tournament… man that would have been so cool! Instead we have this throwaway filler drama to fill a programming gap in 2025. Terrible ah.

Logic Loss
From the very beginning, this drama showed zero quality in writing. The FL is a modern martial artist who suddenly enters the body of a girl (transmigration , of course!!) about to be killed by bandits. They take her to their disgusting old leader, and she kills him effortlessly. She even beats up the whole gang and becomes their boss ...... fine, I accepted that. But what made absolutely no sense to me was what came after.
How can a woman who defeated ten armed men in a breathe, suddenly fail to handle the leader’s useless, brainless daughter? This bimbo creates mess after mess, yet the FL keeps forgiving her like she’s some saint with selective memory. It’s as if the writer forgot she’s a martial artist whenever the plot needed extra chaos.
By the end, this “strong” FL becomes a complete liability because of poor writing and zero logic.
Honestly, a classic example of limited creativity. Total disappointment.
