Fated to Meet Again
I just finished the last episode of Pursuit of Jade, and honestly, I’m still a bit confused about the ending. I couldn’t tell if it was showing a continuation of the story, an alternate version of events, or something more symbolic - like a “what if” scenario or a different possible outcome. That uncertainty stayed with me after finishing it.Overall, the story is about war, secrets, manipulation, but also a strong romantic line running through it. What caught my attention the most was the female lead. I really liked her because she felt different - strong, but still very feminine at the same time. She didn’t feel like a typical “strong female character,” she felt more layered and real.
The male lead also surprised me. At the beginning, he seemed a bit lost, and I honestly had no idea what to expect from him. But slowly, I started realizing how important his role actually was in the whole empire and story. His character growth made more sense as the drama progressed.
Both main characters were definitely the most interesting to me. I also really liked his friend/companion - he brought a bit of humor and lightness into an otherwise heavy story. On the other hand, there were characters I genuinely found annoying, especially the two “brothers”. One of them felt completely unstable and the other was even more chaotic, which made some parts frustrating to watch (but fun!).
There was emotional development in several characters, especially the main leads. The romance was believable in my opinion, and there was definitely chemistry between them.
One of the most memorable scenes for me was the "tub" scene - the way they moved together felt symbolic, almost like yin and yang, representing balance and connection.
In terms of acting, I thought there were some very strong performances throughout the drama. Nothing really felt bad performance-wise. Visually, the drama is also really well done, with strong cinematography and atmosphere that fit the story perfectly.
The strongest point for me was definitely the storytelling and world-building. Even though there were some slower and slightly boring parts, the foundation of the story is solid. I’d rate the development around a 7 to 8 overall.
As for weaknesses, I wouldn’t say there are “bad” points, but more repetitive or dragging moments. Especially in the relationship between the leads - there were times where they would get close, then fight, then distance themselves again, and it became a bit repetitive.
Overall, I would recommend this drama to people who enjoy slow-burn romance with emotional tension and gradual development. It’s not a fast or easy romance, but that’s part of its structure.
One detail I really liked was the idea of fate between the leads. It feels like they were connected from the very beginning, even before everything started, which is reinforced by the conversation between their mothers during pregnancy. It gives the sense that their story was already written in some way.
Still, I’m left unsure about the ending. I don’t know if it was an alternate reality, a symbolic conclusion, or just another layer showing that their connection exists no matter what path the story takes.
In the end, Pursuit of Jade is not a perfect drama, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s a well-made story with strong moments, emotional tension, and a slightly confusing but thought-provoking ending - and overall, a solid 8/10.

Their luv is so surreal. I've never seen anything good drama like this before
Their luv is so surreal that I never seen any c- drama like this ever. So good. Have everything we are feeling 😌The crew and cast have done their job so well. The best among the best dramas I've ever watched. Low budget or whatever. They've done a great job with what they have. It's really unique drama ❤
But these cast they need support. They are so good. The director and crew has done a so good work 👏🏻
May they able to collaborate in more good projects. Wanna see the main couple in another drama. They have more chemistry . Tian xiawei and Zhang linghe are a perfect match. Please collaborate with them. Let's keep this drama in high regard by giving more support to them
Oh....plzzzz I wanna see them together forever for eternity.
Xie Zheng and Fan changyu, since my first c-drama I've seen a lot of good couple. But these two are too sureal. These love story has carved to the bone. Really good. They had done a great job.

Aesthetically most pleasing historical drama
As my headline suggest I really haven't seen more aesthetically pleasing historical cdrama than this. From the set design to camera angles to the actors n overall vibes everything really was so soothing n pleasing to eyes. Kudos to this director for that👏👏 he even made me feel for the first time the good looks of ZLH, tbh i have seen him in other dramas n didn't get why people called him handsome, (his looks were jst average for me, i felt he was just very tall bt maybe his looks r not my type, lol) so in this drama he looked really good looking to even me. N that is also on this director to make everyone look heavenly beautiful.Ok coming to the story, i have read the novel, i liked the story n as this drama stayed very close n true to the novel i really actually liked the drama too, although I felt the starting episodes in linan town got dragged a lot, i almost started to pray for that arc to end soon becos i didn't want to give up on such eye pleasing drama. N I really liked the later arc of changyus growth after leaving linan town unlike the popular reviews here where they didn't like them. Yeah it wasn't logical at all for a girl to have so much strength n superpowers on battlefield all of a sudden but then u don't watch these idol dramas for logic, do u really? I liked in the ending episode the director tried to make one scene like the "Titanic" ending scene😹 where all the dead r back n waving bye to the FL n at the end she meets the ML, but it wasn't that impactful as unlike in titanic not everyone was dead n specially not the main leads. But it was still nice way of giving everyone a respectful goodbye.
Acting wise Like everyone else I was really impressed with the two Sui brothers acting the most, they portrayed the evil mad so well that u love to hate them as well as feel a bit bad for them at their end too. That white wig suited deng kais face so well that he didn't look as impressive in black wig in the alternate ending, lol. I also loved that Alternate ending in the end. I liked that they made the puppet emperor more foolish n bit comedic unlike the novel where the emperor was also evilish. Chemistry wise i didn't feel much chemistry between main leads but more in YQQ n SYH/QiMin, like I get that why their pair got blown overnight to get 2nd Collab rumors n CP magazine photoshoot. Oh not to forget i really loved the child actress who played changning, she was so cute😚.
Overall a nice, eye pleasing n refreshing n satisfying experience this drama was. :)

The Romance was phenomenal
I recently watched the Chinese drama Pursuit of Jade, and wow—what a ride! The story revolves around Fan Chang, a pig butcher’s daughter, who saves the life of Marquis Zheng—a renowned general. They enter a fake marriage, with him as a “live-in husband,” while she cares for her family. As war erupts, Fan Chang courageously follows him, thinking he’s just a soldier—but surprise, he’s a general! The plot explores their bond as she fights for him, while he uncovers the truth behind his father’s death. Now, my take: Pursuit of Jade is a solid 9/10. The romance is a beautiful slow burn—Marquis Zheng’s devotion to Fan Chang is heart-melting (possessive in a healthy way!). Fan Chang is a strong, resilient female lead, and I loved her “butcher squad” friendships. Their bond really shines.
However, the villain arc was confusing. The uncle, driven by past trauma with the former emperor, becomes a villain—but the exposition around the puppet king, the emperor’s paranoia, and how it all ties together felt rushed. I honestly needed a TikTok explanation to fully get it! I wish they had expanded the series—40 episodes wasn’t quite enough.
That said, the “what if” episode at the end was fantastic—imagining a world where the emperor’s choices were different. It shows how the villains’ actions stemmed from past injustice. Overall, this drama made me appreciate C-dramas even more—maybe even on par with K-dramas! If you love romance, strong leads, and a sweeping storyline—definitely check it out!

A Compelling Story, Lost in Its Own Choices
I started watching this drama because of the second leads. This series promises a rich narrative, but it quickly becomes unbalanced. The male lead is introduced as strong and authoritative, yet fades when it matters most, while the female lead takes over major confrontations in a way that feels unearned.
Her victories over highly trained soldiers lack credibility. These are disciplined, powerful figures, yet they fall too easily. If her success relied on intelligence or strategy, it would feel justified—but relying on physical strength alone weakens the story’s logic.
Her characterization adds to the issue. She acts recklessly, ignores rules, and faces no real consequences, removing tension from the narrative. At the same time, her identity feels contradictory—a butcher’s daughter living in a harsh, violent environment, yet portrayed as overly gentle without meaningful exploration of that contrast.
It is also unrealistic how quickly she rises to a high military rank and gains direct access to the emperor without proper development.
The male lead suffers from inconsistency as well. As a high-ranking officer, he should act with discipline, yet he behaves impulsively—discovering the female lead in her village in danger, pursuing her with part of his army, treating her, and letting her escape. His reaction to the emperor’s order is rude and careless, and even after returning to the capital without a summons, his actions remain erratic. His harsh treatment of the uncle who raised him is especially difficult to justify.
Despite this, the strongest moments in the series are during their time in the village, where the story feels more natural and believable.
Ironically, the real strength lies in the secondary characters—especially the second male lead. His cold and harsh personality feels authentic. His past is not merely a dramatic backstory—it is a living explanation for who he is. With a father lost to violence, a mother who burned and sacrificed herself to protect him, and a childhood spent among enemies, his emotional detachment feels real and earned.
In the end, I must say it was still enjoyable to watch this drama, especially with so many charismatic and visually appealing actors.

If There's an Afterlife, Let Me be the One to Find You
Congratulations go to the director for creating one of the most visually stunning C-dramas I've come across. Zeng Qing Jie, if I could kowtow to you, I would. I remember watching the 1st episode and just thinking to myself,'How is it so pretty? How is everyone so gorgeous? Not just the main leads, everyone, even the villagers, looked beautiful. How is this land so beautiful?? Even Changyu's house, a pig farmer's house, is presented with care. It's not a noble house with all the grandeur, but a cozy slice of heaven in the middle of a terrible world.'
Every scene is well thought out and shown in the best light. Let's not even begin talking about how excellently lighting is used in this story. I am not qualified to speak or properly express how well it's done
What I Liked (aside from the cinematography, of course)
1. The Characters - This story doesn't waste its cast. The characters, especially those in Lin'an helped mold this story. They were all so beautifully layered. The ones who stood out to me the most were
a. Fan Chang Yu - She had me the moment she slapped that pig in the 1st episode. Then she carried that grown-ass man on her back, and I decided I was going to stay. I love her. I like that she was normal, brute strength, of course, but normal. Normally, when women need to be strong in dramas, their personalities are cold and detached. Or they act more masculine than feminine. Or a combination of both.
It was good to see something different. I like that Chang Yu was still feminine and unrestrained in personality. She maintained her warm, caring personality throughout the show. Also, her not being smart was utterly hilarious. The way those Scholars kept running away from teaching her.... How Wen Kan was bedridden after a few days of trying to be her teacher....🤣🤣🤣
PS. After seeing the BTS scenes of Tian Xi Wei, girl.... I might just start hitting the gym because of you. So much strength and muscle in such a tiny body.
b. Xie Zheng - Has there ever been a hornier man in all of Hengdian? If so, someone please direct me to him. Those specific scenes in episodes 35 (or was it 36?), 37, and 38 will remain in my mind for a long time. I am partial to a beautiful, clingy man, so he ticked all the boxes for me. He fell for her the minute she came to find him in that pig sty that she'd hidden him in and never stopped. She really was his safe space. I also love me a matrilocal husband. And he took that role seriously, status be damned.
PS. We all know Zhang Ling He is beautiful. I remember seeing him in a scene in the drama 'The Best Thing', (I think he was admiring flowers or something), and pausing to think to myself, "I get it now. I understand now what those damnei stories are talking about when they mention beautiful men. They are talking about him." I thought he was pretty then, but that was nothing compared to how he looked in this show. Congratulations to his parents. This is a fine specimen.
c. QianQian - Though her story is a sad one, I loved how it worked to show us the difference in women's strengths. While Changyu had brute strength and martial arts training, QianQian's strength was in stubbornness, smarts, and perseverance. In a way, she reminded me of Qiao Man from 'The Prisoner of Beauty.' Their strength is softer, quieter.
Some women can fight on the battlefield, some with the power of the court, or a strong family background. However, more often than not, (like in QianQian's case), many women had to battle and batter with their minds and bodies—what some would call 'feminine wiles'—just to survive the men that came into their lives and trapped them. I love that she never gave up trying to run away. And always showed Qi Min that she hated him, even when that put her in danger
2. The Comedy
This drama may not have a comedy tag, but it was funny as fuck. From the pig slaps to the multiple slaps rained on Sui Yuan Qing (and the boxers incident), to little Chang Ning turning away and counting to 10 every time her sister (and later her sister and brother-in-law) beat someone, Song Yan's eventual humiliation, and the emperor crying with his eunuch, the pig butcher squad bullying people at the military camp, etc. The comedy and comedic timing in this were so good.
3. The Romance
This drama is 1st and foremost a romance. I loved that part. Watching the 3 couples navigate their 3 very different romantic (one of them isn't really romantic tbh) storylines was so good. The strongest romantic storyline is obviously that of our main leads, especially back in Lin'an. Watching their love slowly grow from convenience to genuine feelings in that picturesque village was just.... I will be going back to watch those episodes.
Gongsun Yin and Qi Shu were both a little angsty and a lot funny in their love story. I wish their story got more screentime. Watching Gongsun stumble all over himself where she was concerned was a highlight. As for my girl QianQian... I'm just glad she's free of that man —part of me wishes she'd stabbed him at least once, though. But perhaps her constant rejection of him hurt him worse than a stab ever would've.
What I Didn't Like/Think Could Have Been Done Better
1. Fan Chang Yu's Rise To Glory
We needed a training montage or something. We all knew she could fight. But fighting a few soldiers (elite soldiers at that) is nothing compared to taking down a general. Yes, she is strong, and yes, she'd had some training from her father b4 the parents passed away. But taking down two very seasoned and feared men is no easy task.
I'd have loved it if the show had some training montage where we could see her train at the camp and maybe participate in some battles b4 taking down these seasoned warriors and generals. It'd have made her eventual general status more believable and a little less sudden.
2. Some aspects of our Pig Butcher Squad
I rather liked them tbh. Watching them grow from thugs who got their ass handed to them by Chang Yu back in Lin'an to her main protectors on the battlefield and after she became a general was funny and warmed my heart. However, the story taking out Man Di was not it.
I think they wanted to show us the costs of war, but still... Didn't like that. Also, Jin Yuan Bao... What were they trying to do, making it seem like he was in love with her? That was unnecessary tbh. They should've let him remain in that brother zone. Things were much better and funnier then.
3. Xie Zheng on the Battlefield
I think we should've seen him fight more. We saw Changyu fight on the battlefield several times, which was a glorious sight to behold. We also saw Xie Zheng's prowess as a fighter back in Lin'an. He's amazing even with one foot in the grave. But I still wanted at least one proper fight scene with him as a general on the actual battlefield. That fight with his uncle doesn't count
4. The Political/Revenge Plot
It suffers. It should have shown in the latter episodes, but everything gets crammed in those few final episodes - with most of the reveals happening in the finale. Idk what they should've have cut (maybe some of Qi Min's and Sui Yuan Qing scenes? idk) but this aspect of the overall plot should've been allowed some breathing space.
5. The lack of proper kissing scenes between our main couple
Their lips kept touching, but why was it those 'dead fish' type kisses? Why did I have to learn that Xie Zheng is basically a vampire from Chang Yu's hickey after the fact? Why wasn't I shown that? The fact that Qi Min's crazy ass had better kissing and more sensual NC scenes than our main couple... sigh. Xie Zheng's horny ass deserved to be shown in all its glory

A Jade Worth the Pursuit, Worth the Wait...
My inner critic says this drama deserves a 10/10... 100/10, but my superstitious side rating it li'l lower cause I don't wanna jinx the remaining episodes. We will talk about that once the finale is delivered.Anyway I am sure whosoever follows chinese drama bites on insta and other platforms knows the buzz around this drama was insane. And as any TXW and ZLH admirer I was also waiting for it desperately, but ...Was it worth the wait .. ?
Ans: yes .. totally... Without a doubt ..100 percent...
And here's why ...
Plot and Characters:
In a small village on the outskirts of a country constantly threatened by war, our FL runs a pig-butchering business. She has brute strength that can overpower even trained martial artists, and on top of that she is beautiful, intelligent, kind, charming, and funny. She is also the head of her family.
Our ML matches her well: handsome, kind, righteous, smart,respectful-and-respected and true to his words and goals.
The drama presents multiple villains, from ruthless psychopaths to selfish schemers. Supporting characters vary too, showing many shades of personality. The plot moves smoothly, and few episodes especially deliver an extra adrenaline rush.
Cast:
Tian Xiwei and Zhang Linghe are amazing as the leads, both bringing their absolute best to the screen. Their looks fit the roles perfectly, and their acting truly brings their characters to life. On top of that, their chemistry is beautiful and calming in a uniquely satisfying way.. Honestly, I would love to see this pair reunite in another project because their on-screen dynamic is something worth experiencing again.
There are also some well-known faces in the supporting cast like Snow Kong, Yang Yue, and Deng Kai. Altogether it’s a decent cast, and what I appreciated most is that the screen time is shared quite fairly. The story doesn’t revolve only around the protagonists while everyone else stands like decorative palace pillars. Side characters actually get their moments too, which makes the overall narrative feel balanced and alive.
Music / BGM:
The BGM and songs are amazing, especially the track 'WHATS DONE IS DONE'... Such a beautiful piece 🥺🥺❤️ It carries this emotional softness that quietly sneaks into your heart...AHH!! Right now it’s basically living on loop on my phone… . 🥺❤️
Costume Design and styling:
The costume design is also done well. Every attire and styling felt very appropriate for the specific role and situation. Whether it’s the leads or the supporting characters, the outfits match their personalities and status nicely, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the drama’s world.
In a nutshell.. i love everything about this drama and I can see myself re-watching it multiple times in future. This is definitely gonna be one of my go-to dramas.
edit : changed it to 10/10. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

From village charm to unrealistic glory
This drama is undeniably a visual masterpiece. It had stunning cinematography, beautiful actors, and a strong opening that really pulled me in. The first part, especially Changyan’s life in the village, was genuinely compelling. Even the side characters had their own charm, which made that world feel alive. But somewhere along the way, it started to fall apart.
What really threw me off was how unrealistically Changyan rose to become a general. Yes, her fight scenes were enjoyable. but let’s be honest, you don’t become a general just because you killed two people. Meanwhile, in every battle, the Marquis is severely injured, while she walks away with barely more than a smudge of dirt. It started to feel less like storytelling and more like plot armor doing all the work.
Her decisions on the battlefield didn’t help either. Kidnapping prisoners, drugging her husband, knocking out General Li. these weren’t strategic moves, they were reckless. And yet, she kept succeeding. Not because she was written as a brilliant tactician, but because the plot demanded it.
Some might argue this is just a strong female-led narrative, but that’s not the issue. I love seeing female leads win. We all cheered when she took down enemies. But strength alone doesn’t make a great general. Strategy, discipline, and earned respect do, and that was the missing piece here.
Take the Marquis of Wu’an, for example. His title was built over years on the battlefield. fighting at the borders, earning respect through experience and victories. Yet by the end, the show tries to place Changyan on equal footing with him, without giving her the same depth or journey. Greatness isn’t built overnight, and the show failed to justify her rise.
Because of this imbalance, other aspects of the drama also suffered. Battles that didn’t involve her were barely shown, we’re just told what happened and expected to go along with it. The Marquis remained more of a “legend” than a fully realized character. We were told of his greatness, but rarely shown it. Even his fight with his uncle lacked impact.
The political arc was another missed opportunity. Instead of developing it properly, everything was crammed into the final episode. It felt rushed, underdeveloped, and disconnected from the rest of the story.
In the end, this drama leaned heavily on its visuals and cast. And to be fair, the actors did a fantastic job with what they were given, especially the actor who played Uncle Wei An. He was brilliant, and I honestly wish we saw more of him throughout the series. His importance to the plot felt like an afterthought until everything was suddenly dumped on us at the end.
If only the same care and effort given to the cinematography were applied to the writing, especially the political and character arcs, this could have been something truly exceptional.
I really wanted to love this. The beginning showed so much promise. But by the second half, I found myself losing interest. I only finished it for closure, and that’s probably the most disappointing part.

I feel like whenever I watch a drama which is hyped up I end up being disappointed.
The first half of the drama was really good. I liked FCY’s personality and how straight forward she was! Yan Zheng at that time also was soft and caring towards her while he handled his tasks in secret. So the duration they were at Li’an village was enjoyable to watch and the filming was really pretty. The snow covered huts and restaurants with their simple winter clothes were really aesthetic to watch. I also liked their styling, FCY’s bangs and curly hair was so cute. There isnt a very clearly defined plot with depth for this drama. In general, multiple powers are at war and they go around exchanging hostages…save once then taken again then save again…. It is a highly FL centric but the balance is lost in the middle part of the drama, where the FL is thrown into situations which are very forced. For example, when she goes to war she is able to defeat the leader, but when XZ goes to war he is stabbed once and then in bed for 3-5 days. I understand that it was the concept the writer was going for where the ML is weak. But technically he is very strong…so I am not sure where that balance went (it was done well at the start of the show).
The villains…there are many and they all have different targets and reasons. Qi Min is obsessive and has to get Qian Qian. QQ is the only person he cares about, the son is also not of his concern. The villains are okay Qi Min’s charisma especially with the white hair is very strong. However the other characters not much impact…
So for the second half of the drama I was less interested in the story. Unfortunately the leads lost their dynamics as well because there were barely any scenes where they were together. The romance scenes are mostly all towards the end last 3/4 episodes.
Overall, I see that the drama can be appealing to the eyes as it was shot very well and the leads look good together, however the story isnt very engaging and impactful.

Overyhyped but still worth a one time watch
The plot is weak. Nothing we haven't seen before. Also, the show doesn't seem to care about anyone else besides the female lead. Everyone we got to know for half the show were killed off.Major problem of the show is turning male lead into a girl and changing the female lead's personality too much. She didn't need to become a general to be seen as a strong woman. The audience can see she already was.
Also, the fact that she all of sudden was so good at fighting. Like, sure, I expected her to be good at pole fighting but dual wielding too? On top of that, she's on par with people who probably trained their whole lives.
Then the dumb decisions she made throughout the show boils my head. She runs around doing nothing and causing trouble for the male lead.
The number 1 thing i hate about the FL is that she was given SUPER STRENGTH. A woman doesn't need super strength! She is perfectly capable of doing everything in the show without it. They gave her that to have the "edge" over men.
The main problem of the show is them being in the village for TOO LONG, like 20 eps!. Should've moved way pass that around ep 11-16. That's why a lot of ppl dropped the show. The ending was rushed because of this one reason!
One other thing that bothered me was how many times Sui Yuan Qing was caught but escaped. Dude has the ultimate plot armor.
OOOOH. The terrible plot twist of A TIME TRAVELER. How ridiculous can this show get? I'm so disappointed. The show was so good in the beginning.

A subjective review on this popular drama...
After watching 8 episodes, I’ve done my research because usually when watching costume dramas, I should have grasped the happenings and all —the gist of the drama plot but, none. Nada. I’m a bit confused but realized it’s a 40-episode drama that’s why it’s still like on the introductory stages, confusion is still on and will probably clear it on the 20-25th episode and despite all that, I’m still seated 🙂↕️The story is about the FL who lost her parents from presumably bandits but there's a behind story about that as well and accidentally found our ML buried in snow, taking pity like it's her mom's sign, saved him not knowing he was the Marquis of Wu'an that everyone knew about. As I've read the book because I was confused in the drama, it gave me a little bit of understanding and watched it comfortably. The flow of the drama was alright, not too slow for a 40-episode, it still keeps your interest in the longer you're watching it. I was just a bit disappointed towards the end, the FL, considering that she is a General only appeared when saving her friend? Like what was that? She is considered one of the strongest, who fought her way to the top but didn't show any action towards the end? When the coup happened, where was the FL? Additionally, there are little details that they didn't elaborate. Why did they not include the reason why the Uncle of the ML took the blame of the sins that the late emperor did?
I watched dramas for the actors, yes. But I also watch with reason. I always, always try to understand the plot not just admiring the faces of the actors (but it really is a plus tho). The casts and their acting? Amazing. I love how they portrayed their character especially the child actors they're so great! The characters have their own canvases with different kinds of abstract paintings on them, deep and meaningful.
There’s still like things to note (that my sensitive ahh noticed) —the way the sound effects are there and sometimes it's not clearly needed in the scene. I don’t know what to call those but the cuts on certain scenes and moving on to the next? The element of confusion, I understand but the way the scenes are combined aren’t blended (idk if someone will understand me, ik it’s normal to cut scenes one after another ahhh i hope someone understands me on this) and lastly, I don’t have anything or something with the grand princess character but I was like literally confused on why is she here now? I know she was supposed to be the wife of the Marquis but why was the back story of her and the Grandmaster showing at the early episodes? 😭 Lastly, the falcon... the messenger bird needs the exposure with the FL's sister, but they didn't show it :(( There's so much more to note but that's okay, dramas are all like that, it's up to us on how we’ll digest and interpret dramas and this is how I perceived it. That’s all ~
The official soundtracks are okay, but I think expecting that this drama will top the viewer ratings, they should have chosen better fitting in the narrative, the intro, and I think it got better blending in the latter episodes especially that guasha scene and when the ML is like making his grand entrance 😂
Will probably watch some tt edits but not rewatch since there’s so many minor details to focus on 🥹
PS. Ngl I think the actors saved this drama 🥲🥲🥲

Talk about an empty vessel making too much noise
Really could not stand this one. This is a perfect example of an empty vessel making too much noise. The ML is this one was downgraded to nothing just to elevate the FL . Only for namesake was he a powerful duke while a mere butcher woman became this super woman 😂🤣🤣. This was the most ridiculous plot I have seen so far . The ML was just a tool for romancing the FL. And we are supposed to enjoy this farce. No thank youWas this review helpful to you?
